They are really very. very good with my mom. They offer a lot of activities, but mom has not gotten into them yet. The food is good and enough portions. The community and her room is always clean never a problem. They are close to me and they provide the right amount of care for mom.

I could not say enough good things about this community. The staff is wonderful, very accommodating and friendly.When they have concerns, they call the doctor themselves, rather than waiting for me too. My loved one receives all of her therapy in her apartment. The room she's in is perfect for her, there is room for all of her belongings. When I expressed the concern of my loved one not interacting enough, they assigned her seats at the lunch table and now she has 2 new friends. My loved one was having trouble reading the menu, so now the staff goes up to her room half hour before supper, and they read the menu out loud to her and let her chose her meal prior to going down to eat. The menu offers 3 entrees, and as they walk into the dining room, samples of the entrees' are displayed so the residents can see the portions and know what they really want before they order. I would definitely recommend this community, and if you call to ask about it, ask for sean. He is the head director and he is amazing, he'll show you around.

My loved one is enjoying living at The Village at Woodlands Waterway because it has a positive atmosphere. Her favorite thing about the community are the drivers that take her to run her errands, they are always happy to drive her around. The place is clean and fairly new but has had some maintenance issues. The pool has not been working for a while. The meals could use some improvement as well, the menu they provide is very limited.

My Mom moved in to Clare Oaks in January of 2016 and was accepted into Hospice in February. She passed away November 8, 2016. The Clare Oaks staff were the nicest, most friendly, most caring people you could ever ask for. The best thing I can say about [Removed],[Removed], [Removed], [Removed], [Removed]. [Removed], [Removed], [Removed], [Removed], [Removed], [Removed],[Removed] and [Removed], is that they took care of my Mom like they would have taken care of their own Mother. I will never forget the way you treated not only my Mom, but myself as well. They always took time to talk to me. I will be forever grateful. Thanks again.

Out of all the tours my loved one and I had taken this one of our top choices. The community was beautiful and the apartments where very spacious with lots of great amenities. They had lots of great activities available and offered different events throughout the week. It was just very much out of there price range and too expensive.

I have decided to make this my home! Love it here. It has everything anyone could want on site... and much more available nearby. Staff is helpful and caring, food is great and the entire place is clean and comfortable with many many activities.

My mother-in-law is in the independent living section of Bellingham. She will be there a year in Feb 2017. We have been very satisfied with our experience. I would recommend to anyone for their loved ones. Probably one of the most reasonably priced private homes in the area. Not perfect but as good as it gets considering the whole picture.

My mom really likes the community. She is happy with the staff who are very caring and patient. They offer alot of activities for her to join. We are happy that this community is very clean. We would recommend this to others for good care for a loved one.

My loved one was about to move into this community but, due to some health issues they weren't able to. We really liked Parkwood Retirement for my mother. Everything was beautiful. Staff were friendly, meals looked very good and it was a very well up-kept community. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

We moved into Danberry about 2 years ago and it was the best decision of our life! We did extensive research and the resort-like amenities that Danberry offers are above and beyond all the others, no comparison. Most importantly is the warm and welcoming feeling you receive from the other residents and staff. The staff knows everyone by name and truly are our friends. The food is delicious and we love having the choice of casual dining in the bistro, outdoor dining patio with relaxing waterfall or fine dining in the Cascades Dining Room. Thank goodness we have Cleo as our full time fitness trainer with classes available several times a day and 5 days a week due to the weight we have gained not eating boring frozen meals any longer. We love the water aerobics in the heated salt water pool especially! There are so many activities to choose from it would be impossible to do them all! Marketing staff was very attentive and listened to what was important to us personally in selecting our our new home. We never felt pressured and they truly wanted us to happy with our decision with what is best for us! We only regret not moving sooner!!!

Have been at Clare Oaks twice for therapy and think that it is the best. Hope that one day it will be my home.

My brother has lived there for a year. He enjoys not only the activities he is involved in & the physical environment by mostly the people. All residents & staff have welcomed him with open arms.

I was a patient in the rehab center for 6.5 weeks. All the services – nursing, housing, therapy, food, etc. were all very good. I was extremely pleased with the results of my time there. I highly recommend this very friendly and accommodating facility.

There aren’t enough adequate word to describe how I feel about this extremely senior care living facility. I had no idea what to expect when I was told & needed to receive medication in & rehab facility. But, without prior notice my daughters visited, toured & said, “Mom you are going to love it there!” I received premium care by experienced empathetic care givers in a clean budget facility. The therapists were excellent. My family didn’t know if I would survive pneumonia I had contracted. I am certain Clare Oaks staff brought me to wellness. I highly recommend it.

The service was great.

After 2 stage at clare Oaks – ASSISI HCC. I’m doing very well due to the great therapists that worked with me. Plus the meals are good and nutritious. All the CAN’s, activity group and personal are wonderful & definitely recommend ASSISI.

They showed me a room that was very far from the elevator. It had a complete kitchen inside the room with a sink and fridge. My sister did not need a stove. For seeing the community it is was not a bad price. It just was not the right fit.
