Her stay was fine as she was recuperating from surgery, the nurse was very good and the CNA staff also very good. They came within 10 min of the buzzer. Their food was also very good. The therapeutics [Removed] was very good also. The people in the relieving office when she first went there was very helpful and welcoming.

I am very happy with the care at this community. The staff were very nice and caring. He was not alwas happy with the meals. they do offer alot of nice activites. We are planning at sometime to go back to this communty because we liked the care and the staff. The care is a value and we recommend others to this great community.

We helped Mom relocate to Parkwood about six months ago from California. Parkwood offered the 2 meals a day we wanted as well as 24 hour oncall staff. The decor is a plus. Mom didn't want a modern stainless and chrome decor. The couches in the lobby and the comfy dining chairs are just her speed. The staff is unbelievable...so personal and warm and caring. At any price we couldn't have chosen better!

I found Assisi to be a peaceful, clean, bright & cheerful community. My husband spent weeks in rehab and when finally discharged he was able to walk with a walker, transfer from a wheelchair to bed, car & back to chair. Heprogressed with work in math language & became confident in doing writing & being aware of appropriate topics for social conversation.

We felt safe to leave [removed] in their care which is a huge thing. His sisters were impressed with the visual appearance of rooms, living areas, etc. Food was really great with choices, taste,eye appeal, for stages of swallowing & eating. Showers in each bathroom a plus. All in all it is a wonderful place to stay.

I toured this community for care. I did not like that they would of-of only has accommodations for her in a room with.We were informed that activity that would be offered. They informed us on the nice mean. We liked that staff who were able to answer are questions. I know that families might find this a good fit for a loved one.

Everyone was very nice to me. It seemed clean & it didn't smell. The only thing I'm disappointed with is the delivery of my camode. Home over a week & never got it yet. I could really use it.

My loved one told us "This is a very nice place They are real nice to me here. The food is very good."

I recently spent 21 days at Assisi Health Care after experiencing a urinary tract infection and 4 days in a hospital. All of the staff was dramatically caring, competent and communicative. I would totally recommend their outstanding services to everyone without reservation.

Can't give enough praise. Great staff in all depts. Clean environment. Wonderful nurses & PCT's would very highly recommend.

Gable Pines was a gift from heaven for our family. A housing situation collapsed putting my parents into a hotel over the Thanksgiving week with an immediate need for future housing. Gable Pines was one of two options we reviewed as referred by "A Place for Mom" after noting certain picky circumstances needed. Walking into Gable Pines was like walking into a family's get together. The spirit of the people was immediately accepting, kind, accommodating, caring and amazingly welcoming. Anyone would feel comfortable and excited to have the opportunity to live here. The facility was spotless, well designed, incorporated a multitude of social opportunity and the residents and staff were just delightful. My parents had a beautiful home with a river running through the back yard and plenty of space and serenity. Gable Pines may not have a river running through but it definitely has beautiful grounds, options for plenty of comfortable "home" space as well as a community that is amazingly alive and you don't have to brave the cold to visit your neighbors! Being six states away, there is a sense of peace that my parents are in a safe, friendly, and loving place that they are enjoying immensely. The area has everything you need within one square mile. We looked a few years ago and I am guessing they wished they had moved here then!

This was a nice tour. The staff was nice and they answered all the of the questions that they had. They did offer a nice tour and it seemed to be very clean. They do have activities for everyone. I think that this would of been a great choice for my mom if she did not want to stay at home.

We really love this place and can not wait for my husband to move in. The staff has been really great so far and I like the way that they interact with the residents. They also are right there in a reasonable time when a resident calls them. It is like a 5 star resort.

We loved Gable Pines. It was very welcoming, from the general atmosphere to the staff to the residents. When we walked in there was a sign with our names on it welcoming us. A chef or cook was at the reception window talking to the receptionist and eating some pumpkin bread and offered us a taste and then a piece of it. We were greeted very warmly. We were led by [Removed]l to a private dining room where we talked for a few minutes before the actual tour. We met a resident of the memory care community who said she loves it there. We saw a few different apartments and they all looked nice. There are several areas where different activities occur for the memory care community, including a kitchen area where they can make toast and have snacks. The dining area was very bright and cheery. We saw residents in a group doing some music activity. This was a Saturday morning. They have a dedicated movie theater and popcorn machine there, and this is where some church services take place also. They have activity rooms in the assisted care community areas also that the memory care residents go also at times. The main dining room is where they also go to do events and holiday dinners. We tried the food and it was delicious. So far, this is my favorite place. They take the residents, including the memory care residents out on outings more than once a month, and have bands and groups come in to entertain also. A top notch place and the staff seem to really care. Staff to residents in the memory care community is 1 to 4. We also met a resident of the assisted care community who was also very happy there.

This is a very nice community and had a good tour. They showed me the activities area but I was confused where we ended up. The residents ate on one floor and the rooms were on another floor. I did not like the idea of moving floor to floor. I liked it a lot and the people were nice and kind but it was very large and I thought it would be overwhelming for my dad.

While my father in law was here the staff was good to him. He was only here for 2 days. The community is nice and they kept it clean and neat for the most part.

I am happy with the care that my mom is getting here with the excellent staff . this is a safe and close community for us to visit . She is adjusting to the community . She is offered to activities , but is still not settled in . This is a big change (1)for my mom and she is taking it slow . I would highly recommend this for a great value and excellent care.

My dad loved it here. He had a roomy 2 bedroom unit. The staff are outstanding. Lots of activities, never a dull moment. He looked forward to the dances, and trips. There was even a woodworking shop for him. When dad needed help the staff was quick to respond to his every need. What a comfort to me knowing dad would get help if he needed it. When dad got sick they brought meals to his room, and checked on him throught out the day. Whenever he needed assistace, the staff was right there to help. I highly recommed Lexington Square, Elmhurst.

Great Family. They move my mom here. Best most organized more she has ever had. Great people, great movers, nice facility, great nurses. I love this place!

Have visited it myself but still need to get my sister up to Ill. to see. Very positive place and loved everything we saw.
