Kempton is such a wonderful community! It is so welcoming and loving to the residents. You feel like family from the time you walk in the door. I love seeing the residents sitting on the enormous front porch in all those rocking chairs catching up on the day!

This may seem strange for me to give the community in which I work a review, but when I saw that APFM has given us a score of 7, I was confused, as I saw that most of our reviews read 4-5 stars. I found that because there are not many RECENT reviews, our score goes down.(We have not been w/APFM) SO, I wanted to be sure that you as a consumer, understand that. I have been blessed to work in our residents' home for almost 12 years. The comments we receive from our residents & family members are that this community feels like home & everyone seems so happy & acts like family here. It is true. I feel that we owe our success to the amazing passion our team has to truly care for our residents' well-being. We have extremely good tenure w/ our core group averaging about 15 years! They do a great job! I was just in our Resident Council meeting & the residents were complimenting them on their hard work, the good food, the choices, activities, outings, care, etc. I am ready to move in, myself!

My friend lived at this community for several years. He has a rare form of ALS, and is in need of physical assistance, meal preparation, socialization, transportation, etc. They did a great job with all of this and more. He and his friends love this place and the great staff there. They truly care the residents and the friends and family of the residents there. I found that they listen to the residents and families and communicate well. It seems that they are interested not only is your physical needs but also your spiritual and mental needs as well. They have many staff members who have worked there for more than 10 - 15 years and have a passion for what they do. The food and activities are great! The chef even helped him make some of his own Italian sauce and pasta for everyone one day. He loved that and so did everyone else. This is a great community. I would choose to go here my self. Everyone seems happy.

Great Staff and the faculty has all needed amenities plus more. Great location near shopping Mall, Restaurants, Movie Theatre, and easy access to major highways/interstate. I would definitely recommend Inspire Sandhills to anyone.

They exceed my expectations in every way. Everyone here are very professional and helpful in everyway.

My mom was there for an 8 day stay while I went on vacation. I toured the Kemptons and interacted with the staff for 2 weeks before mom began her stay. I couldn't ask for more better care from the staff. They were very professional and I did not worry about her care while I was away. I would recommend this facility if you are looking for long term care or temporary care that I needed for my mom.

The Kempton is a very caring place. Staff is amazing, especially the direct care staff. They love the clients and it shows in the love and care they provide. I think The Kempton goes above and beyond for the care they have provided my mother in law.

The food does leave much to be desired. What we like the most about The Kempton is that mom has made friends and is forced to move around with going to eat 3 times a day. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

The staff at Kempton worked so hard with a place for mom to help my family place my grandmother. I appreciate everything they did to help us and walk us through the process. When you need real help a place for mom and Kempton will give it their best shot. I’m not sure if we would have known all that we know without these 2 places. My family appreciates them.

Excellent care at a level way beyond other similar facilities.

It was great at first, and then they moved the person in charge to just doing events, and it went down Hill. They never renovated Memorycare as promised, and after a year it looked dingy and was dirty. There were stains everywhere. The Nursing staff was nice but some needed more education. The food was awful. I have moved my Mother to another Memorycare that is beautiful and clean. She is much happier.

From our initial interaction with sales staff to daily interactions with caregiving staff, everyone is professional, friendly, courteous, and extremely attentive. The facility is lovely and the surrounding area has many pluses. There is a bird sanctuary next-door, a beach down the street and grocery store, restaurants and retail shops directly across the street. Transportation is provided when needed for church, shopping, etc. Our entire family is at ease knowing that she is safe, cared for, and happy.

My loved one is currently a resident at The Kempton of Hermitage and most everything has been great about the experience. My loved one's only complaint is the food. The staff is great. I would recommend The Kempton of Hermitage to others.

The staff taking care of my dad are excellent, caring, and understanding. They take very good care of him and understand him so well! The meals are excellent and well-balanced. The rooms are cleaned weekly and laundry done weekly also. The move in was very easy and the staff helped us get set up.

The staff and facility were very accommodating to my brother, who moved here from California to live with us. He fell the first night in our new house and ended up in the hospital. It was then that we needed to find a new house to accommodate his health condition, but we needed temporary housing and care for him. [Name removed] from The Kempton came to our rescue. She interviewed him and had him set to move in a day or so later. My brother stayed at The Kempton for about 2 months until we were able to buy a more accommodating house to suit his needs. He loved all the staff and clients at The Kempton. He had fun playing bingo with the clients. [Name removed], at the front, became a friend of his and he kept in touch with her even after he left. He would have loved to stay there permanently, but he was on a fixed income. I think he liked most of the meals. There were times when he preferred his fast food and would call for Uber Eats to deliver. As for my experience in visiting him there, everybody was always very friendly. [Name removed], at the receptionist desk, seemed to know everyone and always had a greeting for everyone. The parking spaces were easy to park in and I could always find a spot. I am thankful for them accepting my brother so quickly when we were in a tight bind. I highly recommend them.

[name removed] who works the front desk is a saint. We love her. [name removed], the nurse is awesome. Wish I knew all the nurses names. The entire staff has been great so far. My Mom complains about it. Honestly it could be just her. Only time I've ever eaten there was a mother's day event and Christmas. Both times it was good. My rating was based on her feedback.

They include everything in one price. Others charge for every little thing. They are professional and must importantly, have great staff.

The staff was warm, place was clean and eager to answer questions . Also like meeting the therapy staff. I would recommend to others.

My father was previously a resident at Shem Creek Health Center at South Bay and everything about his experience at this facility was great. They took excellent care of my daddy for the few months that he was a resident there. All of the staff were helpful during the move in process and the vacating of the apartment. The staff were all compassionate towards daddy and family members who visited, especially during his final days of life. I would recommend Shem Creek Health Center at South Bay to anyone who was looking for quality care for a loved one.
