Leisure Care, LLC/One Eighty

Those places are very expensive. They charged $19 a plate for Easter dinner for guests. I really like the place and they’re happy there. They are always doing something, field trips and exercises classes. The residents all really happy and interact with each other. I was really impressed with the physical therapy there. That was part of why we chose this community.

Nice, very new - only opened about two weeks. It is a retirement facility, not set up for independent living the same way others are.

I feel like we are getting what we pay for. The managment staff I talk to is a five. They are very concientious in coming if she needs something. They do have bible study, but she wishes there was a gym. She would like to go on a few outings. She loves the food, the food is a five. They need a van that will transport wheelchairs. I have heard they are trying to get one. We liked the atmosphere a lot, and the really friendly administrative staff. It won't win a beauty contest, but they have a motto, something about we treat you like it's your home and we make you feel at home. It's true too! I would recommend them to everybody.

They do a good job with the care here, and the facility itself is nice looking. We did have a few issues however, and ended up having to move my loved one out. My loved one was in a shared room, and was having issues with the roommate (living space crowded with medical equipment, and an absolutely-no-lights-at-night rule) that lead to a few falls. I feel like these issues could have been resolved by simply placing her with a different roommate, but that solution wasn't ever one they tried. It was a nice place but unfortunately did not work out due to these circumstances.

Within budget - offers flexible hours and some transport. Nice environment. Clean and residents appear happy.

Making the decision for my father to go to a Memory Care Unit was not fun or enjoyable. Barb at MacKenzie Place was very helpful, professional and took some of the fear, and weight off of a decision no one "wants" to make. The place is clean, the staff very friendly and knowledgable and they all seem to take of the family as well as the resident.

My step mother choose this place as she has friends here and she had been here before, she did not look at any other place. She was unaware that I had contacted A place for Mom.

I think they are doing quite well. I think because of the problem I'm with my insurance, it's not really their fault. Communication-wise I was unaware that being in the memory section was still consider assisted living. I can't blame that on them but the new owners have only had it for like six months and I think that the problem with the communication is that they're new. As far as the facility itself, the people themselves and what they do, is good, but when you come down to the beginning part when you're getting them in the communications at the beginning part are not exactly what I would want them to be. Because of their inability and too newness to handle that properly, it was too overwhelming for me. As far as everything else goes it was fine just a real bumpy road in the beginning and that is why the overall is a four. In talking to other people they didn't have the same experience because they had other things to deal with, they had nothing but nice things to say. I liked it because it was not a huge facility and it is family owned and they were fixing to put a lot of money into remodel which they are doing and in a timely manner and a good manner and I felt it was more comfortable than other facilities. They want to do well they're striving to do well and they are following through on what their promises were. It was not institutionalized feeling.

This place is newly renovated and renovation is still going on. I was impressed by the amenities and I like the rooms also, since they had a kitchenette. I am bringing my mom back to this place.

My brother hated it, the room was trashy, the furniture that you would find on the street and put in the room, the people were nice, the rest of the place looked nice. The people were excellent. I didn't handle the payment part so value would be hard to judge. They weren't really prompt when you rang the bell, and when he had an accident and came back an hour later and they still hadn't changed the bed. They had a big TV room and you can sit outside but that is the extent of the activities that I am aware of. The food was ok.

The people were very nice and the residents are friendly. The place is very clean. The maintenance staff was quick to setup the cable tv and hang the pictures. They paired my father with a nice gentleman for meals and the food has been good although the service is sometimes slow. I wish they had more activities for men. The only negative is related to the medications. Residents must stop at the nurses station to get their meds and there is often a line and you have to wait. It took a week to get my father's medications straightened out which was concerning because he went 7 days without some of the meds that he needed.

Liked it. Might be too big for mom, but will take her there to see. Didn't have a quiet room in her price range :(

Very very nice place but it will be too big and overwhelming for my mom. we would be paying more for the bells and whistles that we don't need. sales lady didn't ask me a lot of questions about our needs; mostly sold the beautiful place which had a lot of very fine services.

Toured, nice place, could be an option for my mother

We really liked them. We would have liked my in-laws to go there but they didn't feel that they could make friends there. I liked the cleanliness and the offerings that they had - not so much scheduled activities but anytime activities. I liked their staff and of course their food was exceptional. I think that as far as their level of care, I'm finding that they’re all pretty much comparable. They didn’t stand out there but the facility itself and the rooms were great.

I came close to putting my mother there but by the time you do the highest level of assisted living you're looking at paying quite a bit of money plus they had the entrance fee which you just lose. Other than the financial aspect I thought Heritage was fabulous. It's a beautiful facility . It was great but I don't think it was suitable for where my mother is in her care.

Met with Jennifer one of the owners, she gave me a tour of the facility. Ithink Peachtree will be a good fit for my Mother. I would recommend

POsitive experience there after hip replacement. Not sure if they would take Dad (what is the contingency plan if we need him to be in memory care???)

Very large facility. But nice.

Mother currently lives here. Large 2 bd/2 bth with kitchens & her own laundry. Fireplace, central air, cable TV. Internet is separate fee. Dining is like a cafe plus daily specials.
