The communication between the staff and the families was good and they returned calls in a timely manner. The location is in a good area and they kept the grounds and the community neat and clean. I would recommend this community to others

I would advise others to try the community. The director of the community is leaving, and she has been rude to my family. The kitchen staff is rude, and not wanting to wear their hair nets. The community could use some improvements overall.

This is a good facility, I think they had a good covid plan and took good care of the residence. She had a nice apt. and they did offer different floor plans. Parking was an issue though. I would recommend this facility to others.

We have been here since [date removed]. Considering Covid-19 hit about 1 week later. I don't feel we've really had a fair time to judge. Employees are friendly and efficient. The food is so-so because it was served in our rooms and the entertainment was the best it could be under the circumstances.

Impressive, sent me a personalized video tour. Most residents in their 80's; will not work for a 69 year old. Pricing not outrageous.

Presently there are no dysphagia solids options for dietary restrictions. Unless [name removed] has been upgraded from mechanical soft, it's not an option. The on-staff nurse also needs to get back to determine whether or not they can provide supervision during meals for verbal cueing.

It was fine there for my mom and we didn't really have any problems with them. The caregivers were mediocre. For us, it comes down to the lack of skilled nursing care, and no registered nurses 24 hours a day. It seemed like there was always a high staff turnover and that seemed especially hard for my mom. The food started out really good and then the chef changed and if was hard for her to eat with her strict diet. They offered daily specials and the desserts were really good.

Overall, it is a well run community. The only negative is that my mom doesn't like the food. We chose this community because it felt nicer and homey and my mom liked it best. The staff and the people who live there are friendly. It was the nice mix of services offered. It was just the right fit for her. In addition to having the dining services, each apartment is equipped with its own kitchen which was a big selling point for us.

They have a great staff and do a great job at Fairwinds River's Edge. The food is good. The layout is good. They don't have a lot of outdoor space. The room sizes are good. We have had a good experience.

It's a pretty nice community and we feel we are very lucky to be here. The food is excellent and there is a lot of variety. Our whole day resolves around the meals. The staff are just wonderful. We are supposed to get weekly housekeeping, but we don't always and when we do it's very light.

Convenient location for me, though on very busy intersection. Spacious and clean. Residents looked and sounded happy. Meals sounded good and nutritious. More outdoor space in quiet areas would be an improvement. "Care" fee at $450 minimum seems high for healthy, independent seniors. Appears to be well run.

All caregivers are very nice and willing to help you.

I am very satisfied with the care my mother has received living at Grand Villa West. I moved her in August. The staff has been very helpful and understanding. The challenges one faces when placing a loved one in someone else's care is difficult. Everyone from the ED to the entire staff in the Wellness dept and, the on sight aids have been wonderful.

My mom is a resident at Grand Villa West of Delray Beach since January 2019. The first thing we noticed was the culture of the community. The entire staff and all the personnel —from the Executive Director to the maintenance crew — are warm, friendly, responsive, kind, energetic and caring. The common spaces and the apartments are impeccable and well maintained. The grounds, including the beautiful pool and courtyards, create an inviting setting. The two dining rooms are lovely and the dining menus are extensive (Mom enjoys the food, especially the homemade soups!) There is a true family feeling and a social atmosphere throughout Grand Villa West. Everyone knows each others’ names and the entire staff is nurturing and love to laugh! It is a joy to visit my mom, because I am made to feel welcome ... I know my mom is adored and well cared for. I deeply appreciate the attentive nature of the staff since I am a distance away. It is a blessing to know Mom is in good hands and I trust that management is devoted to the care and happiness of the residents. I would highly recommend Grand Villa of Delray West to both friends and family without hesitation.

Our first experience was good. They were under construction for upgrades, but that didn't stop our tour of the facility. They have continued to show interest in making sure that all of our needs, especially our Grandmother's are taken care of right away. They are super friendly from the beginning of our visits until we say good bye to our Grandmother.

My wife has been at the memory care unit for over a year, i have seen a steady focus on care and communications/suggestions. The staff is caring and understanding, The aides and activity staff reach out to everyone, no matter what the residents capacity is. I have not had 1 negative experience.
