Feels like home Very friendly staff Staff does take interest in residents Breakfast is decent- maybe a with a few more add on options as well as for them to be offered more often. Lunch is also decent, but would like more add on a la cart options Dinner is not that good at all. For the most part, it's sandwiches, that are in simple white bread with a piece of cheese and a few slices of meat. Otherwise it's a small salad if it is something you do not like. It's not really a 'dinner'. I wish they had more homemade desserts rather than canned and store bought. Also simply putting more meat and a choice of a bun, roll or variety of bread would help. It would also be good if we could get a sandwich or burger etc. or snack throughout the day and early night. There are pastries in lobby in the morning and fruit in afternoon in lobby, but it would be nice to have items from the kitchen be able to be made and had throughout the day. Also, if the elevators can be wiped down 3x a day simple: Mop floors, wipe down buttons inside and out and inner rails and doors Lots of fingers pushing buttons all day and night and looks used and unclean. Plus they would smell better with a simple Pine sol or fabuloso And a vacuuming by elevator doors a few times a day- simple and quick!:) It would be nice if they could clean up and restore the pool

I like the tour of Fairwinds - Woodward Park as well. They were more expensive of and the rooms were smaller than we wanted. It is clean and staff is friendly.

It is a good place to live, I only moved because I wanted a studio apartment. I would recommend to others. I picked this community, because the staff is friendly.

At Harborside at Melbourne, the staff are very friendly and the nurses are attentive. Overall, the place is cheerful and mom adapted very quickly. My Mom is fussy about food, cleaning, and laundry and she's very happy with everything. I would recommend this facility to others.

We toured The Lakes of Dunedin during our search for a facility for our loved one. This facility was very nice! The cleanliness and friendliness were both great! We had a great tour.

We would recommend Fairwinds but emphasize that it's not a perfect place. Example - infrastructure related things are allowed to break down when they should have been upgraded years ago. The location, however is great.

The activities were what I wanted most at this community - especially the scenic drives they would take twice a week. However since Harborside at Melbourne has recently changed ownership they have cut down the activities and nothing has really happened yet for our loved one.

Everyone at Crescent Park Senior Living is very friendly, and in a short period of time, my father came to feel like they were his extended family. I would recommend it to others looking or independent living.

The memory care facility is on the ground floor, with a small courtyard. Bedrooms have motion detectors in them. I do think that they need to get the community van going and have more outings for the memory care residents.

Harborside is going through a transition with new management and staff shortages. Medical care is great, but they are very short staffed. Midnight shift CNA's very poor, but the other shifts are great, so it's very hard to rate. Just be sure to stay involved with your family member and stay actively engaged with the staff. Majority of the staff is excellent. Medical care from medical professionals affiliated with facility are very proactive.

We went with this facility. Good tour, great size room, helpful staff. PROBLEM - after two months, just told the company has been bought. Uncertain about future cost and service. The staff has turned over so many times in the past two months, not sure who to contact on this. There are three meals, but breakfast is too early. I have eaten dinner once and there were two choices. Food was ok, but not great. Not like advertised, but the dining room staff was excellent. Communication via loud speaker which is almost impossible to understand. My hearing is normal, but I could not make out the announcement.

My loved one is getting really good care. The value for the money is fine. We picked this community, because it was recommend by a friend. We are pretty happy, with Bay Wood. I would recommend to other families.

Staff are incredibly friendly! Nursing staff isn't easy to get ahold of or return calls made sometimes ever. They've had multiple complaints on the food and the service in the dining hall. They've had meetings with the residents because it's so bad for multiple months now, with no improvement. They have lots of activities, but they are very female focused activities. For active men, there aren't a lot of things to do on a daily basis. The occupational therapy staff is excellent, but the physical therapy staff just doesn't have the equipment, space or ability to give specific, quality individual care.

I toured this facility and it was good. It's older style. The people were super nice. All of the residents were out, smiling, and quite lively and friendly. I spoke with a few staff during my tour and they told me that they like working here. If this facility had Memory Care, it would have been my second choice.

This was a nice community. It wasn't the right fit for my loved one.

We came at a bad time during the transition to Bayside. But even though, follow up from administration staff is a challenge. The staff that I see working throughout the facility are great and knows what's going on. I only say this because getting the names of the physicians that come to this facility to set mom up with a new primary doctor, never happened. I found the group though and picked a very nice Nurse Practitioner who visits her.

They have been very helpful, and I am satisfied. They are very busy, and sometimes is a challege getting in touch with the nurse. The interaction with the staff has been a pretty good. They have a lot of stuff going on with the activiites.

This was a nice community, it felt more independent living than what our loved one needed.

The staff could not have been more kind or made me feel more comfortable. The facility for my loved one was just too large and the location would have been a far drive for me. I wanted him close so I could visit often.

Bay Wood was very similar to another place we looked at. The tour was good. The person who led the tour was very professional and knowledgeable. For my loved one in a wheelchair, the facility wasn't quite the right fit. But I thought it was a good place.
