Quality of care is tricky. Some of the home health aids are not that great, but you might find that in every facility. However, the nursing and PT has been great. There could be more and better activities. The Value for Cost is great. In comparing costs, you are getting a pretty decent place that is affordable.

Most of the Staff at The Ackerly have made my Mom feel at home, especially those that assist her on a daily basis. They make her feel loved and safe. Mom has made a very nice circle of friends and, while the first few days were an adjustment, she really loves being there.

Definitely very nice people that care about the residents. At least in the common room. The people that get them ready/do things in the bedroom are sloppy. We're in a semi-private. Clothes show up that don't belong and her stuff can't be found. I've had to micromanage them to ensure she gets showered and brushes her teeth. They can't manage putting in hearing aids in the am and removing them at night.

The HarborSide team assessed my wife at a previous facility and determined she was an acceptable fit for their Memory Care unit. with proper adjustments in medications they could improve her mobility and fitness. Based on this assessment the move was made. The improvement was not to be! my wife was bedridden the entire time of her stay at HarborSide Until her passing. I was told by several HaborSide staff members that the facility was not a good fit. But after consulting with my wife’s Hospice nurse(who was great!) we determined that a move to a new facility would not be a good idea after Considering many factors. The hands-on staff was good and attentive and medication’s and attention to my wife’s needs was acceptable but communication with them Was difficult and it was difficult to understand who was the lead nurse! Facility staffing seemed to be a challenge with people not showing up for work

When Mom was healthier it was a pretty good place, she played Bingo and Poker and ate in the restaurant. The food was very good. But, Mom moved into this facility knowing she would die there from Leukemia. She was on Hospice. As Mom got weaker and weaker, I learned that the marketing people gave me misleading info about their capabilities to care for someone near end of life. They have a "no lift" policy. The employees could not get my Mom onto the bedside commode, it was only when I got there with the help of an employee. Near the end, they would bring food to her room, but it was out of her reach. I was told before Mom moved in, she could have a pendant around her neck to push the button for help for $30/mo, but when she really needed it, they said they don't offer that service, but that they would make an exception for Mom. They said they could provide care until she dies, but they really can't. It was very misleading marketing to get Mom to move in.

It's very clean and organized. The faculty staff are very accommodating. I would definitely recommend The Village at Unity to other families looking.

Our experience greatly improved after he moved to Memory Care and Hospice became involved. The outstanding negative was [name removed], the nurse. She did nothing for him; he should have been on Hospice long before he was. The other management ladies were awesome. They made a huge celebration of veterans day for him; will never forget their kindness.

It was a crazy busy Thanksgiving weekend moving Mom into Heritage , but she is now settled into her new home. Thank you all for guiding us through the process, and for all the emails texts and phone calls to answer all our questions . It is a confusing process as well as an emotional one. She and I were both pleasantly surprised to see Heritage in person. The photos and videos do not do it justice. The grounds are stunning and the apartment was roomier than we had imagined . I was most impressed with the people — from maintenance , housekeeping , dining , and nursing to the wonderful ambassadors ! Your systems are running well and all the residents we met were happy to be there and friendly. This is the highest compliment I can give you——- for the first time in many years , I left Florida to return home to New Hampshire with no worries or guilt , knowing my Mom was in a lovely place , well cared for and safe. I know her quality of life and happiness will only improve . Thank you!

Bay Wood Senior Living community was very eager to talk to us when we were trying to decide if that's where we wanted to bring my mom. However, once my mom moved in and I had concerns about things that I needed to talk to them about, it was hard to get anyone to return my messages.

My mom is currently a resident at Bay Wood Senior Living. The staff are caring and dedicated professionals. I have asked questions and received answers to assure that my concerns were met for my mom. I have recommended Bay Wood Senior Living to others and will continue to. The entire staff is wonderful.

Things are not perfect here at Fairwinds - Woodward Park but overall I am satisfied here. Based on the experience I have had so far, I would recommend this community to other families.

I am currently a resident at Crescent Park Senior living and overall things have been good for me at this facility. The staff here are amazing. The housekeeping is as they promote it. The move in process was smooth for me and well organized. The food preparation leaves a little to be desired. In defense of the facility, it is a very difficult time to hire for the full range of employees. The kitchen staff work really hard to make dinning an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this facility. I believe it is one of the best in our community.

I am currently a resident at The Village at Unity and overall everything has been great for me at this facility so far. The move in process was very easy and everyone was helpful. Communication with my family members has been good. The meal plan, however, is creative but puzzling. For example: a couple is allotted less food than twice the amount that one person is allotted. But the food is great. I would recommend The Village at Unity to family and friends.

We took a tour of La Orilla of St. Petersburg during our search for a Memory Care facility for our loved one. Nice facility! The place was clean and all of the staff were friendly. They offered good services, also. Ultimately, we decided on a place closer to home.

The staff are very very great people. They always are trying to make sure you have a good time and be glad that you are here. Most of all the other workers do a good job also.

Having experienced multiple facilities, moving to the Bay three years ago has been a wonderful experience! am now getting the care I deserve and the staff and residents are my second family. There was a difficult transition period when the building was purchased, but over the past year there has been so many positive improvements and the team in place now is great and making a difference! I am happy in my home!

The staff is very caring and efficient and shows love and concern for their residents and family members. A safe environment with nice activities .Some of the caregivers need improvement

This place is clean and food is decent. The staff and the atmosphere are pleasant and helpful. Transportation is available weekly for shopping and also by appointment for other purposes. While I prefer a book to the Welk-style entertainment, most of the residents do seem to enjoy it, and we have a small cadre of friends here. Since we can no longer live at home, this is the next best thing. I am quite mobile, so I have an advantage over many others. The only thing I really miss is driving, but I have learned to live with the lack.

We toured The Heritage at Delray during our search for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. This facility was nice. The cleanliness and friendliness was good. However, I toured with the handy man because the person with whom I had the appointment was 'tied up.' The handyman was only able to answer a few of my questions.
