The apartment is beautiful and fairly new. A big selling point was there is happy hour at 4:00 pm every day which has been a great opportunity for her to socialized without having to attend the traditional activities. I think the key is the staff. They are fun, friendly, very caring, joke around, and even dance down the hallways. They are so helpful and she is allowed to have her cat, which is very important to her. Cost wise, this community was better than others we visited . They have chef inspired meals with three choices and other alternative options as well, which has been great for picky eaters.

This place is wonderful. We are so lucky to have found a jewel and help our dad with this transition.

My father moved to Grand Villa West last fall after loosing his drivers licence. I can't imagine what would have happened if he wasn't there during this Corvid 19. They acted quickly to protect the residence from the out side. weeks before the Governor. As time past they put more strict rules. My father gets 3 meals a day brought to his apartment. Someone checks his temperature making sure everyone is ok. Such a great relief knowing my father is being taken care of. But in his own apartment. Its wonderful! Also they communicate with family letting us know what is going on. I highly recommend!

This is a great place. My mom likes it here. She has a nice group of friends and the staff is very professional... Heck! they put up with my mom. LOL!

We have heard such wonderful things about this community recently and what an amazing location it is right in the heart of our town , Trussville. ?? Seeing many of the residents whom have been lifelong members of FBT and are able to go worship on Sundays with their peach tree bus and staff providing them a way ,melts might heart every time. These all are precious individuals. Go peach tree !

For the past 7 years our father was a resident of Grand Villa West in Delray Beach, Florida. My sister and I live in New York and were very concerned about him living alone. We convinced him to sell the house and move into an Independent Living facility. We were very familiar with Grand Villa because my father-in-law, and several other relatives were residents in previous years. Dad finally consented, and it was the best decision he could have made. Grand Villa advertises as being a home, a community, and a family. We can attest to the fact that this is absolutely true. We felt confident that dad was being well taken care of by a competent, caring extended family. At the age of 98, dad recently passed, and the compassion and caring extended to us, his children. [name removed], the Resident Coordinator, [name removed], the Executive Director, and ALL the staff, showed my sister and I the same concern and compassion they show to their residents. We will miss visiting all of our Florida Grand Villa family. Thank you for the past 7 years of friendship and support.

Beautiful building with extremely caring employees

The facility is spotless,the help is very caring .Food is very good,soups are great,good selection,deserts are good,food is more than enough. Management is excellent and the activities director is creative and very hands on.

My sister adjusted well and seems happy there, considering the circumstances. The staff is very friendly.

My grandmother has been living at The Village of Mill Landing for a year or so. This has been a wonderful relief for our family. My mother was worried when leaving Grandma alone and was struggling with the added responsibility of making sure Grandma got to her appointments, had groceries, etc. My Grandmother has a bright and cozy apartment that allows her independence and privacy. When our family comes to visit, we generally meet in the cafe to spread out. It was a difficulty decision to leave home, but Grandma is safer, eating much better and far more social that she was when living alone. This was the right choice for our family and my Mom's piece of mind.

During the days that I was looking for a situation for my husband and myself, I looked at a number of places that offered various levels of service and care. When I came to Fairwinds, It felt like home and the place we needed to be. The Staff has been most accommodating, helpful and friendly. The community feels like family and we feel very comfortable here. We feel blessed to be in such a nice, safe environment.

If you can't be at home anymore then Fairwinds/Sandcreek is the place to be. Both the residents and staff are friendly like one big happy family. The food here is very good and a lot of work is put forth to make it that way.

I have lived @ Fairwinds Sandcreek for a number of years. You cannot find a more caring and compassionate staff. The management team is to be commended for promoting this culture.

Treeo is one of the best places we have found. Mom really loves the friendliness of the staff and the many activities they provide for the residences.

We are extremely happy with Fairwinds for my mom. It was a big adjustment for her but the people there are amazing and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I am very impressed with how good the food is considering it is such a large place. There are so many options to meet all of your needs. I am grateful for A Place for Mom in helping us on this journey with a list of places to visit. Only visited one other after Fairwinds as we knew it was the right fit.

Excellent care from an experienced, compassionate team. Our mother was a resident and transitioned to memory care. They exceeded our expectations every step of the way.

The first thing you notice when you walk into Fairwinds is the beautiful and modern decor and facilities, which is immaculately well cared for and maintained. The second is the equally beautiful atmosphere and personality of the community which radiates from residents, families, and staff alike. I cannot imagine a better home and second family for my parents to spend their "Golden Years" with. I am so grateful for everyone there who watches out and cares for my Mom and Dad as if they were their own parents. As a healthcare worker myself, I am continually impressed with the professionalism and training of the caregivers, and often take for granted the longevity of the core staff that is seen in all departments. My only complaint and concern is that there is no continuation of care beyond a very "lite" Assisted Living level, which in reality could lead to my parents requiring to move out of the home they love and away from their friends and the staff at Fairwinds, all because their care needs are too high... I hope it does not come to that, but it is a concern that crossess my sibling's and my mind from time to time. I know that not all people are able to afford Fairwinds for themselves or their loved ones, but if you are able to you will not find a better community.
