Like idea of work shop & being able to use it with deposit even not living there.

Toured before. 5 stars but expensive and not assisted living.

Beautiful surroundings and smiles all over...

Incredibily nice. Allows small pets. Very close to Valley Care, lots of restaurants, shopping. All indy lvg rooms have laundry machines.

Very nice facility. Had a nice lunch and tour. Very friendly and nice that everything is on ground floor. The bathroom of 1 bdr apt is a little tight for the walker.

The Grand Villa community is very clean, the staff members have been excellent and the quality of care given to the residents is excellent. The meals and dining experience as been excellent as well. On the memory care side the activities are fantastic - they always have something going on like music entertainment, different games, and the staff are really encourage involvement between the residents. We have recommended this community already and we absolutely will continue to recommend it to families based on our experience.

That kind of a lifestyle is just not for me--it's like being on a never ending cruise and that's just not the kind of life I want to live!!!

The care services at Hawthorne Court are very good. This is a unique situation for us since we have had so many relatives live there prior to our loved ones moving in, and for several several years they lived there. Our loved one was very familiar with Hawthorne Court which was a main reason we picked it, but also it is a one level facility. It is easily accessible and our loved one did not want to worry about multiple floors in case of emergency

This community is pretty good and I am happy with the way that she is treated and taken care of at this community. The staff are all helpful and willing to hear what you have to say and act on it to correct anything for your loved one. They have activities like theater, bingo, church services, live music and singers. They also have activities like walking and working out for the residents and more to keep them busy in the community.

It is all one story so there are no elevators or stairs to worry about. The rooms in comparison to other retirement apartment we looked at are very spacious and nice. 50% of the apartments have access to the outside from the rooms and he really likes that feature so he doesn't have to go through. They have 2 options at every meal and if you do not like either of those they have a menu of 10 items that you can order off of. It has been hard getting my dad adjusted but the longer he has been there the more he seems to like it. I would recommend Hawthorne Courte others looking.

They are The Gardens now, and are still kind of going through that transition. They've had some staff turnover, but there have been no terrible interruptions. Everything is still running smoothly. The staff overall has been wonderful. They send out communication almost every day, especially with Covid, which we've appreciated. They were great about informing everyone on protective measures. Their communication in general is excellent. The food looks good, and they bring cookies and other wonderful things out with the meals. They have activities going on all the time, things like movies, exercises, art projects, games with prizes. They really are a wonderful facility. The cost is pretty comparable to other places, and they gave us a locked in price for the first six months, which was nice. The only thing I'm frustrated with is they haven't been able to get us set up with EFT, so I have to send them a check. But that's not the end of the world. They do have some glitches in the billing system, but they're working on it.

We have experienced professionalism and friendliness from the staff. My mother has progressed so much in the last three months it's incredible. Cognitively and physically she's much better, and I attribute that to the attention the folks there give to her. And I appreciate the other healthcare providers they have contacted to help my mother - podiatry, general physician, etc.

The community is very clean and the staff is very kind and welcoming to my loved ones. There were even people that knew my loved one when she was younger she reconnected with at this community.I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

So far the community has been good. The community has an open door policy to help socialize with other residents in the afternoon. They interact well with the residents. The food is outstanding. Even during the pandemic they all ate in the dining room. The staff has made great efforts to get to know the residents. The administrative team goes around and talks to the residents each team.
