I toured this facility today and found them to offer superior memory care services on a secure floor

My grandmother lived at Ashbrook for a little over two years. She recently passed and we are broken-hearted. I must tell you that she received the best care and love at Ashbrook--our family is grateful for the staff and Gary for making my grandmother feel like she was special, as she was to us. The nurses are caring and concerned for their charges--everyone is treated with respect. My grandmother was a tough customer--her cleanliness standards were very high--and met by the wonderful housekeeper employed by Gary. I met with my grandmother on several occasion during lunches and dinner. The food was perfect for her needs. I see no reason for complaint. My grandmother was picky and she ate everything--always! She only ever complained of having a sandwich once in a while, for lunch, and that's just personal preference on her part. I could write a novel filled with accolades about Gary and Ashbrook--but I will end with saying that even when a time came that many other homes would have turned her away for health reasons--Gary never did. He would do anything to keep your loved one out of a nursing home. Thank you to Gary--and to all of the exceptional staff at Ashbrook. We made the right choice--so lucky for my grandmother. She was blessed.

I would give anything if Ashbrook Village had been here when I had to place my brother in an assisted living facility! Ashbrook Village is the cleanest, best-run facility in the area. The residents are well-cared for, mentally stimulated, and kept engaged. Gary has done a fabulous job.

Wonderful place and wonderful care to my family! I feel blessed and safe that she is in good hands!! We are grateful to have such a wonderful place near us!

I toured this community while looking into care options for my brother. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. This was a little out of the way for our family so we ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have felt comfortable placing my brother.

We are moving my mom in this week and I have to say, it has made my life soooooo much easier to have the Fairwinds' staff's support. Stephanie, Nicole and everyone else have been fantastic!!! They are knowledgeable, compassionate and professional.. This is a warm, inviting, safe and cozy place to transfer her to. She has lived with us for 4 years and is 92, so the whole experience is a challenge. But I am so grateful for their help and experience!! I'll post more when she has been there a bit, but so far, very impressive...

Our experience at Fairwinds has been beyond our expectations. Our first visit with Alecia laid the foundation and made mom comfortable. She was treated with a respect and consideration that is hard to find these days. They went the extra mile to help mom get acquainted with the facility and the residents. Frankly, the residents really are wonderful. They introduce themselves and do a huge part in making mom feel at home. That is the hardest part of the move for mom, feeling at home. Honestly, it has taken a few weeks but she has settled into her new home. The entire staff from the folks that clean her room, that help her get around, to the servers and kitchen staff, they are all exceptional folks. Kudos to the personnel staff in how they vet their employees and train them. They have created an atmosphere, a culture, that is comfortable, fun and pleasant. The facility has been kept up and the mature trees really help the environment and make an overall pleasant experience. The food is absolutely wonderful. The only problem is there is too much served even at half portions. It is prepare in a healthy manner and it varies enough throughout the week. The servers really work hard in connecting with the folks they serve. We are all very pleased with the decision we made to make Fairwinds mom's new home.

Again close to home. Beautiful property. All the amenities. Food credit of 400 each month to spend in dining room. Theater pool fitness center. 2 phases of the property. Indepentent living assisted living..stay in the same apartment.Right now full.

Superior Facility with the most updated programs for Memory Care Patients. Everyone is trained for Level 2 Dementia. We put a deposit down for my mother once she leaves rehab from a fall.

Wonderful and clean just like a five star hotel.

The memory care unit staff is very attentive and works with outside health care providers to meet our father's medical needs. When family visits they have all been impressed with the onsite options to take Dad to outside of the memory care for a restaurant quality meal or beer and pool at the pub. These onsite options makes it easier to spend time with Dad and not be confined to his room. The Dad's room and the whole facility is always clean and orderly. In short since Dad moved into MacKenzie Place he is happy and healthy.

Having been a firefighter for 34 years, I was used to answering calls for elderly people in distress for various reasons. Some of these calls were to facilities that housed and cared for them. I haven't seen a place that measures up to this one, Springfield Place. From day one, the Sales Advisor that handled getting us the right studio apartment, the Manager that runs the facility, the Nurse, the Activities Director, Caregivers, Receptionists, Building Maintenance staff, Chef and crew, and Cleaning staff have all been professional and compassionate. I have met many of the residents, and this is reflected in their positive attitudes and comments of their experiences there as well. The energy there is extremely cheerful and uplifting. The staff does a great job of making the daily schedule interesting. The caregivers do a great job of helping mom shower, and other daily necessities. I have eaten a number of meals there, and you feel like you are in a restaurant. The young waiters and waitresses really bring a spark to the dining room. Hats off to the chef for well thought out and well prepared meals. I really feel like mom is finally in good hands.

The property is really nice. My mom is not receiving care services from the facility because they do not have any openings on the assisted living side. My mom does not participate in any activities, but that is her choice.

When I started the process of looking for an Assisted Living for my parents I visited many facilities and still was lost as what to do. Then I met Gary [removed] at Ashbrook, he had a great a wealth of experience that made everything so much simpler. My parent’s health and social activity improved so much after moving into Ashbrook. I could not be happier with the care of staff and employees. The cleanness is overwhelming!

I think the marketing manager was very informative and very nice to work with. Everything along the way has been very smooth. My loved one hasn't been there very long, but as of right now it has gone well. Everyone has been helpful.

We have been looking for a place for my mom who us still sharp but can't drive much anymore and needs to being involved with people so she isn't so isolated. Everyone in staff as well as residents are very supportive as well as warm and friendly. They offer assisted living as needed but so far we haven't had to have help with this.

I don't know what my sister and I would have done without Ashbrook Village. Our dad settled in quickly, and the staff has been nothing but fantastic to him. He's been paid attention to, and that makes him very happy. He's kept clean, and his room is always clean. He fell recently and had to have hip surgery. Ashbrook welcomed him back with open arms and has participated in getting him as close back to normal as he was before the accident. It's been a trying time, but they have made it so much easier. I could not ask for nicer people to take care of him and take care of our concerns. Gary Tallent and Barbara Henderson always have their door open for any concerns. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone that needs extra help with their loved ones. It's a warm environment and does "not" resemble a nursing home. In fact, it's quite a pleasant place to be.
