We, sister and I arrived here 8 months ago. To me, it was a hardship to adjust but the staff members were very supportive. Not only that, all staff members no matter what department they were in, was friendly, compassionate and understanding, I can talk freely and comfortably when I've had decisions to decide or just talk about other matters.

My mom has been with them for 2 years, they are amazing in every regard. As the caretakers, they knew me by name anytime I visit with them. Fantastic community

I love this place it is a very friendly community and you will be at home. Staff will help you - from the ED to housekeeping. Staff are great.

When our parents got too old to take care of their house in another Delray gated community, we convinced them to check out other options. We liked GV because it included all 3 meals in a waiter-served environment - there are lots of choices and they serve it fast and the food is pretty good, not gourmet, but more than satisfactory in an institutional setting. The staff here is outstanding. [Name removed] will go above and beyond to meet your needs and everyone from the front desk people to the servers are friendly and patient. They have lots of good activities, like morning exercise, movies, bingo, casino nights and outings. Basically, it is what you make of it - if they get involved in the activities, or just hang out in the lobby or out front, there are many people doing the same and they will be happier. The apartments are basic but meet the needs of people since food is already provided. They empty the garbage and do linens on a regular basis. My only complaint is no recycling!

[Name removed] sat down with us and recorded Mom likes, where she was from and what she can and cannot do. We decided that assisted living would be best for her. We had our tour and [name removed] knew all the resident's name and employees names and greeted them all. The place is very elegant. We tried lunch and it was very good. I liked that Mom could eat in several different places if she liked. I know they would check on her and assist her to get to know her way around and assess her capabilities. People were coming and going, classes were being given, and lot of activity.

Only positive feedback from family member in parking lot! Love the front porch with the cool water available. Staff very friendly and smiling - first name basis with residents. Very clean, sunny, and friendly. Very impressed. Great tour from [Name removed].

My mom was in the Memory Care unit and it was a very nice place, The care she received was outstanding and she was well taken care if, They were right on top of what she needed. [Names removed] were just the greatest, They helped us from beginning to end and even help us with other issues mom had, I highly recommend this place and if or when my husband need some place like this we want to go here.

Mackenzie Place is AMAZING. The Food, the Staff and the Building are all 5 stars. The staff is the most caring around. They care about the residents. They are amazing. If you have any concerns about the food stop by for lunch. This is where I want to live when I am ready.

I have read a few reviews that didn't seem accurate or even close to what I experienced on my visit to Fairwinds- Rio Ranch... I toured the entire facility, first-hand, with [Name removed], (Marketing ) and could not offer any other opinion than "excellence"! Every part of our tour with [Name removed] impressed my parents (who were previously quite objectionable to moving to any independent living facility) and they have now insisted that we take action to secure a place in the Fairwinds community. The staff was apparently expertly trained and very dedicated to customer service at every area of interaction with the seniors, to the point that, I am proud to refer Fairwinds-Rio Rancho to anyone!! In the restaurant, we were offered to dine with my parents and the food that was served was first-rate! From the sou chef, [Name removed]to the line cook, [Name removed]...from our fantastic server, [Name removed]to the restaurant lead, [Name removed]...these employees did a lot more than just their jobs to see that we were satisfied! We were even impressed with the prime fitness trainer, [Name removed]and there great bus driver, [Name removed]. Later, when we were invited to their "Happy Hour", our gracious activities directors (program coordinators), [Name removed] & [Name removed], made sure that not only those in our party, but ALL the people in all the groups attending were totally involved in the dancing and fun. I cannot applaud enough about the professionalism of this facility's employees, at every level! ...I compliment their upper management on their success in staff selection, obvious excellent training & human resource expertise in keeping these employees happy and dedicated to superlative customer service! This assisted living community is beautiful, clean and pleasant. The General Manager was very kind and professional. I am definitely telling my other senior friends and family about Springfield Place in Petaluma. I can see myself enjoying it here.

LOVED this facility and ends up my sister has know the lady that gave a tour for years. It was clean, well kept, had lots of places that our parents would enjoy such as the coffee cafe, movie room, gardens. etc. The apartments were spacious and super quaint. The only downside is that they do not accept Medicaid there if they require Memory Care and they both will in the near future if not right away upon assessment.

Excellent help. Very good all around place to live.
