I can't say enough good things about Sunrise of Lenexa. It was an adjustment for my mom at first, but she's super happy now, and that's all we wanted for her. She loves the food. It's a beautiful facility. The staff have been amazing. They're very knowledgeable and take good care of the residents. They interact very well with them and have tons of patience. Their 24-hr support team is vey good, and the facility is safe and locked. It's a little more than we wanted to spend, but this was the only place we looked at that checked all of our boxes.

My mom likes it, and feels comfortable here. That means we like it also.

This is a good community. They have good staff and programs, and sometimes they seem understaffed like a lot of places. The medication monitoring and care could be better. I think weekends they are really understaffed, because they let things go. The staff could be friendlier. The food is really good. The community does have quite a few therapy options for the residents, and this is something I really like about the community.

I really liked the community. The only reason we choose another community was that there wasn't an easy way to take care of my loved one's dog at Legend.

I would just like to say that EVERY single staff member acts in such a sincere compassionate manner as if your part of their own family. One employee stands out from the very beginning and her name is [name removed]. She always takes the time to listen and help in any way she can. Her concern is very genuine. She's always so thoughtful and pleasant!

My parents are doing really well at Arbor House

I thought this was a great community for my loved one. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. All the staff were awesome to work with, if I had any questions or concerns about my loved one. They have gotten to know my loved one and me by name. The community provides three meals a day with two choices for the residents to choose from. The only drawback is that my loved one doesn't have a Lan line in their room.

Spacious grounds with lavish landscaping- large dining room area to engage in conversation with residents. Café area for meeting's. Meals with family members - coffee and other refreshments available - in ground heated pool - fitness room - theater area for movies and presentations - beauty salon - laundry facilities - residents library - game room - craft room and much more

We chose The Landing because it was closer to family so we could visit often. Also it was very clean and the staff were all super friendly when we came to tour. The atmosphere is very bright and cheery. The overall response time from staff is very quick, if anything happens they notify me right away and we have been impressed with that. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

Legend at Jefferson's Garden was great. The staff were very good. Mother was a vegetarian, and they met her needs very well. She just ended up needing memory care eventually - that was the only reason why we left.

It has been very good and settling for my loved one. He feels secure. The staff go above and beyond.

We had a good tour experience at Willow Bend. I liked the facility and had no complaints with anything I saw. We just had a personal preference for a smaller community.

I’m in the process of assisting a friend move into independent living. Renaissance was the first facility we visited and were impressed from the minute we walked in. We did go to one other establishment but my friend said … we don’t need to look anywhere else I feel comfortable at The Renaissance and that’s where I want to live. When we went to sign papers we were introduced to everyone, a tent card was placed on our dinner table welcoming us, and my friend actually met his neighbor. The assistance as well as the welcoming atmosphere helped take weight off my shoulders…knowing that my friend will be happy.

While waiting to pick up my loved one I witnessed elderly care at it's best. A resident who still drives came in the front door using her walker and carrying her purse plus two bags of purchases in a panic. Her car was flashing and she couldn't understand what was happening. The receptionist questioned her about her emergency flashers but she seemed confused and worried. One of the great maintenance staff walked by and suggested he look at the car. Two minutes later he came back and told her it was the flashers and he had turned them off. Another aide who was about to depart came up to her and asked if she could take her purchases up to her room, which she did. Three staff members, all from different departments, assisted this lady quickly with grace and respect. That is how The Windsor of Lakewood Ranch demonstrates the kindness and comprehensive care it gives to their residents. We are so glad we choose The Windsor at Lakewood Ranch for out loved one.

I was able to visit StoneCreek of Edmond and was extremely impressed with both the staff and the building. The staff is friendly, helpful and caring. The building is clean and inviting.

This was our 2nd choice. There were long response times to our questions and it felt corporate to us. They also had small closets.

I was impressed with Parkwood Village. Everyone there is very friendly. The maintenance man even knew my loved one. I just really like it. It's clean, including his room. The whole place looks nice. They make sure he gets a shower and has clean clothes. They seem to be on their toes as far as care goes and are doing a great job. I like that they encourage the residents to get out of their rooms and participate in activities. He says the food is really good, which I'm happy to hear. It's not cheap, but the cost is reasonable and pretty comparable to other places.

One of the best communities I have ever seen. Very clean, employees are very helpful. [name removed] is the best and knew everything. People seemed to love her. Just overall a great place. Best ever.

After visiting several senior communities, we selected Renaissance. Beyond the appealing appearance, we found the friendliness and caring of staff and residents to draw us there. Mom's lived in independent land recently in assisted living temporarily. We've been so pleased with the care and commitment made by the staff in making Renaissance my mom's new home.

This is a lovely community. It is better than I anticipated to place my loved ones in. The staff have been good to speak to about my questions or any concerns I might have. There is a kitchenette in the apartment, and a laundry rooms in the building for the residents to use. The soap and fabric softner is already provided by the community. Some of the activities available include games, movies, outings, crafts, and more for the residents to choose from. They can stay as busy as they would like during the day.
