We looked at several local locations before we found Lionwood and we noted first how the staff goes above and beyond to support those who live there and their families. Since my Mom has moved into Lionwood, she has gone from a woman that barely left the house to a woman that has friends, is active in physical and mental activities and we worry less about her. Lionwood has brought peace of mind for the whole family. My mom loves the food there!

My loved one is very happy here. If the resident needs more care along their journey in the community, the resident will not have to move rooms. This was a big plus for us. There are three meals a day served with flexible hours for the residents. They also have a bistro option for the residents to utilize. I believe the community can be a bit short staffed on occasion.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lionwood! My siblings and I were terrified when we began looking at options for our dad but Lionwood eased all of our fears and truly exceeded every expectation. The staff is absolutely amazing! The food is fantastic! The ability to schedule on-sight appointments makes life so much easier. It’s is clean, easy to navigate and always busy with fun activities. Lionwood really is the very best!

I love it here (at Lionwood). My girls found it for me. My first daughter didn’t want me to be in a community. She’s stuffy. When we visited, I said to her I hoped she would let me go somewhere as nice as this. My next daughter loved it like me. After a month or so, the older one said we can try it. My favorite part is the food. I sit with my friends to eat. Everyone likes me. They say “Hi [name removed]***”. They always remember no onions. I was sick & they brought me my usuals. Parties are fun. The luau was the best! My family came. They (the Lionwood staff) care about me. I am happy.

The service is the absolute best in the business. The culinary experience is 2md to none.

Aside from literally exceeding every possible expectation I imagined, (admittedly, I’m not the easiest person to impress), the food & dining at Lionwood is OUTSTANDING! Our Dad loves it so much he gained a much needed 7lbs the first month he was there! I also recently had the opportunity to stay overnight with my Dad at Lionwood & had the best breakfast EVER! There are so many choices, the food is cooked to perfection & flavorful, and much to my surprise, the wait staff greeted my Dad by name, spoke to him clearly & at a volume he could hear, but not so loud as to draw attention to or embarrass him. As if that wasn’t enough, when my Dad began to order, he was having trouble recalling& wasn’t responding to my attempts to “help”. The sweet waitress leaned down, got his attention & asked him if he would like his “usual” & then gently recounted exactly what that was. His response? “Yes I believe I will.” I had to leave the table to cry. Lionwood & its staff are THE VERY BEST!

After a nightmare at in a Lake City facility this was wonderful. As you walk in you can look around and there is no odors no dirt no shabby carpet and paint. Just a fresh clean environment with people who are friendly and helpful at the front desk. I've seen the food on multiple occasions and it smells delicious and the patients there really seem to enjoy it. My mom has actually gained weight since she's been there. With rehab on site and a beautician that comes once a week and entertainment galore it's just a very nice place.

I loved Sunrise of Lenexa - I thought they did a fabulous job. [name removed] who helped us get him in here was awesome. My loved one has dementia and when it would set in he kept wanting to get out of the bed. He fell a few times but I know they could not be there every second so I understood. They were good to him and I really did like the place and the people a lot. The facility is clean and all the girls were great and they did what they could for him. His rooms was always clean and the grounds were beautiful. The food was amazing and they will cook whatever it is you like. Overall I would recommend them to others looking and already have. I told my kids that I want to live here when the time comes.

I toured The Landing of Southampton and it was our 1st choice. It was beautiful and had a lot to offer, however, I thought that most amenities would not benefit my aunt. She would need to be taken to activities; someone would need to take her to the bistro, library or the movie theater. I thought it was great, but not all to her benefit. With these facilities its very hard to tell until you're actually in there and spend time there. Judging by the tour, it doesn't give you enough insight as to what's going to go on when you get there.

I toured Heartis Bucks County; it was very nice and pleasant. Heartis was brand new so upon walking in it was very pleasing to the eye. Their memory care unit opened in November and we visited earlier this year. With these facilities its very hard to tell until you're actually in there and spend time there. Judging by the tour, it doesn't give you enough insight as to what's going to go on when you get there.

My mother was welcomed into Rivendell Memory Care, a Legends Senior Living facility, this past April 2022. The care she received while residing there was extraordinary. The staff was very professional and all services were executed with compassion and personal care. The cleanliness of the facility, the distribution of medications, the food, the nursing ,and the regular doctor visits all provided a since of well being that enabled her family to feel a great sense of security. Mom had a couple of incidents that required hospital care and on those occasions communication was excellent and transfers were arranged and made on a timely basis. I simply could not have asked for a better environment for my mothers care. I am grateful to all the staff for all the consideration my mother was afforded. Thank you all so much. The day to day staff were absolutely wonderful, amazing and they were so caring to the residents and our loved one there. However we had major issues when it came to the upper management. Our loved one had money stolen out of their room and when we brought it up to the director all we got was attitude, no apology or no solution to help fix the problem. We were also told our loved ones cable would be set up a day after move-in, however it took almost a week and when we asked what was the issue all we seemed to get were excuses.

This was too large for our loved one. They have a fantastic and beautiful assisted living area.

We are very happy that our loved one is very content here. Our loved one is participation in all the activities. The staff really seem to care for our loved one. The only downfall is, I wish we would have more information on what to expect with our loved one's condition. The staff communication is great with the family. Some of the activities offered include: noodle badminton, bingo, arts and crafts, monthly themes, music therapy, and more for the residents to choose from. Three are weekly salon visits. The community offers virtual visits with families. The community seems geared towards memory care and the activities for these residents. One of the reasons we choose Prairie House is for the activities and we haven't been disappointed.

First class place, Clean, good values. The Director is a Hands on Guy easy to speak with. The food is Very good. Really Love the service. Signed up!

We toured HarborChase and we really liked it. We were torn between HarborChase and the community we chose. Our deciding factor was all of the great recommendations we received for the other community.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice tour experience but from what we understood our loved ones level of care was just to high for what they were able to handle.

Highly recommend Sunrise!!!

My mother lived in a different facility before, and now that she's at Legend at Fort Worth, its amazing the improvement I see in her in all aspects - mental, general health, happiness. The staff are are amazing, and it's worth every penny.

My loved onewell taken care of. They are given alot of love and attention. Overall, my loved one is very happy.
