We have been very impressed with the friendliness of the staff - they were one of the deciding factors for us. The other residents living at the community also are very friendly and to seem very happy. We are not sure of all the activities they have going on for the residents but we do know our loved one enjoys participating in the arts and crafts as well as bingo. We have seen and had a few meals there ourselves and they are really good. Compared to other communities we looked at in the area the value is right in line.

A Great Place
This has been a good experience for my loved one and family. This had always been my number one pick from all the communities I looked at. The staff are friendly, helpful, and caring. The staff communication with the family is okay, it would be nice to have emails or calls responded to after the first contact compared to sending multiple emails or making multiple calls to the same person about a specific issue. There is physical therapy that works with the residents in their room and they are kind and caring towards the residents.

Overall Asbury Village is a wonderful place. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I think the biggest thing that bothers me is the temps in individual rooms. It's either too cold, or too hot in the room. Heat/Air units in each room would be much better. No one should have to wrap up in coats and blankets to stay warm, especially elders.
