When my parents needed to move where dad could get all the care he needed, Legend at Jefferson Garden was the perfect home. After losing dad, mom has thrived in the community. She has made deep friendships, learned new things, and come to depend on the staff when she needs them. While there have been some staff changes during the past 4.5 years, we have observed the transitions to be seamless. Each new person bring a high level of commitment to the residents, an expertise in working with elders, and providing a safe and active community. I know that as my mother ages, she safe and well cared for while enjoying all that Legend has to offer.

I was devastated to have to place my mom in Assisted Living. Recently she had to be hospitalized for 3 weeks, and she kept saying how she missed her friends there. The staff have been so caring & attentive to our needs. This is a great home for her!

The staff at Legend at Tulsa Hills are very warm and welcoming! They know the residents and their families and want the residents to feel comfortably at home. Housekeeping is good. They don't dig in personal space, so it's best to make it known where the trash, etc is placed. Communication with family and staff is great! I appreciate the open communication!! They're always available to talk/text with. I've had dinner with my parents numerous times. I've personally enjoyed the meals and the bantering with the dining staff. They're amazing. Pops has trouble swallowing and is extremely picky with his food. He literally carries a salt shaker in his pocket. Mom literally eats every crumb! She loves the food! The cost of Legend at Tulsa Hills is high, but we want the best for mom and pops. We've explained to them that this is the reason they scrimped and saved for all of those years. We feel that Legend is the best!

My experience with the help is excellent and I get along with them very well. The people and residents are all very nice and considerate. My favorite thing about living here is the conversation with others and if I could pick one activity that I enjoy most it would be the spiritual engagement through Bible study. Additionally, we play balloon volleyball and Bingo that are most fun. The food is excellent. The chef meets with us to see the things we like and don’t like and will tailor them based on our preferences when he can.

Our family has been very happy with Sunrise of Lenexa community. Anything we have questions or concerns about they have addressed right away. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

As my mother in law grew older, falls and memory loss grew as well. We tried in home care but it didn't fit her needs for we had trouble staffing the shifts and we were worried about her regressing. We visited the Windsor of Gainesville and fell in love with the atmosphere. So many things to do and stay active! It was challenging at first of letting go of the responsibility of her well being, but the staff from top to bottom are spot on with care, concerns and communication. They eased all of us through the transition with smiles and hugs. Everyone is always friendly and calling the residents by name. You can feel the love they have for family members and their jobs. She has gained independence (within her own ability) and has made friends. No longer do we get the phone calls from her feeling lonely and stressed. She is at ease and calls her apartment home which is relief.

We moved our parents to Windsor at the Ortega a month ago. What a wonderful experience. The staff immediately engaged with us, getting to know the supports we needed, and what they could do to make our parents new place a home. We could not be more pleased. The staff has exceeded our expectations. They are caring, responsive, and they always approach our parents with a kind word and a smile. The quality of care and responsiveness is impressive. We are constant communication with the staff, who make sure that they meet all of our parents needs. We highly recommend Windsor at the Ortega.

The social aspect was great for my dad who is still younger and more active. The facilities and activities they have keep him engaged and thriving. I would recommend to others.

My cousin lived in a retirement community in Miami in Assited Living. She had been single all her life and I was her only family here in Florida. When the decision was made for her to move to Gainesville my wife and I explored all the available retirement communities here in Gainesville. The Windsor was superior in all aspects. Although she needed assisted living she had mild dementia which we were concerned would ultimately lead to the need for memory care. We never needed to place her in memory care but felt it was the best Gainesville had to offer. The staff was professional and compassionate. The moment I walked in the door of the Windsor I was overjoyed knowing my loved one would be part of a wonderful community. The teamwork of the staff is evident. The facility is always very clean. The activities offered to residents are amazing. The meal options are nutritious and full of flavor. Most importantly, my loved one is looked after and supported daily.

This facility is top notch with compassionate staff and a beautiful facility! I personally dealt with [name removed] and she is one of a kind and has went above and beyond for me and my family. She is truly a blessing. I highly recommend Rock Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care, you won’t be disappointed!

We have been so very pleased with Rock Ridge. They keep us posted on how Mom is and their communication is far more than we ever expected. They have taken caring for Mom seriously, like I would expect them to take care of their own moms.

Through guidance from [name removed] with A Place for Mom, we were able to talk to several communities. When he told us about Sunrise, it seemed to be a good fit for us. He had us on the phone with Sunrise very quickly as we needed to make arrangements for Dad leaving the hospital. We visited before making the choice and we're very pleased with the facility. And that never wavered during my Dad's brief stay. I would highly recommend Sunrise North Wales to anyone looking for a safe, caring place for elderly parents. And if they are able to participate, or just sit and listen or watch, there are many activities and performances to take part in.

My brother and myself were referred to Province by our father's acute rehab. We went in not knowing what to expect. Upon entering the community is well kept and the receptionist came out asking if we would like something to drink and where were we from. It felt very inviting ! [name removed] and [name removed] the Sales Directors greeted us and we went into the private dining room to discuss our father it was just nice to have a comfortable conversation and they were so knowledgeable and resourceful. We experience lunch and met the Chef [name removed]. Also as we toured a few of the residents chatted with us about how much they like living at the community. We viewed the activities calendar they have tons of activities going on. We took a tour of personal care and memory care both areas were well kept and very organized. The apartments are very large and we really liked the layout of the shared suites in memory care. When dad discharges we will definitely give [name removed] and [name removed] a call.

I was very impressed with The Province of Southampton. It is a smaller community, feels like home ! The staff and residents at The Province are very welcoming. The community is kept very clean. Lots of activities to attend and many outings to go on. What I also loved was how well lit the community was and the wide hallways. It is very easy to navigate. A huge plus is the 24 hour staff. I sat and experienced dining the Chef's food was very delicious. We also attend a few activities that were fun and well attended. There price point affordable and $[removed]your way incentive works well to help with upfront cost.

At the Windsor of Gainesville, you get a lot of amenities and a beautiful community at a reasonable price. The apartments are large and well-designed, the staff are caring and competent, they have fun activities often, and the food is good, too. Minor issues are handled professionally and with good communication, and they treat their employees well. Overall, one of few communities I would consider for my own family.

A few years ago my loved one displayed signs of dementia. We looked at available senior care assisted living facilities in our area which would also offer a memory care unit for possible future needs. We decided upon The Windsor of Gainesville. We toured the facility. The staff was very friendly and the residents were friendly and happy. The dining room is inviting and meals are tasty. The medical staff are efficient and caring. The entire facility is clean and cheerful. There are daily activities offered and occasional field trips. If needed, the transition from the assisted living to memory care is smooth since the staff are already familiar to the resident. Once transferred into memory care (Reflections) the resident is more closely supervised; dressing, bathing and eating are assisted if needed. Residents are encouraged to participate in group activities. Meals are served in the dining room. My loved one found all her needs were met in both units of the Windsor. Highly recommended
