Legend Senior Living

My mother-in-law has been there exactly 2 months and her mental and physical health have greatly improved. She is enjoying the activities (arts and crafts, workouts, working puzzles, ...). She is socializing again! Every time I drop by, which is pretty frequent, she is visiting with others in the common areas. She really likes the food! Also, since she has to walk from her apartment on the 2nd floor to the dining room on the first floor, her pace has improved a lot. On a personal note, my husband and I don't worry about her the way we did. She is safe and happy.

I can’t share how happy our family is with Rivendell Legends. The environment is perfect for our mom. It is the peaceful environment she has been accustomed to after living alone for 20 years. There is plenty she can do, either watching Tv, taking walks, meditating in the garden area, putting puzzles together, trips and just taking a drive somewhere just to get out, fellowship with other residents and staff. The staff is so amazing. They are all very loving, kind and interact with residents constantly. The peace I feel in my heart knowing my mom is getting the best care possible is immeasurable!

We toured HarborChase of Palm Harbor and it was a great tour. Everything seemed great at this facility. However, it was too expensive for us. More expensive than most in the area that we toured.

5 stars for each of them. Legend of McKinney is a wonderful community and we have been very pleased with the whole experience. The on-site nurses and staff treat my parents (and us) like family. The chef prepares exceptional food and any service promised is always provided. I toured other places, but the location and the spaciousness, openness and value made Legend an easy choice for us. It is a facility that I would highly recommend to others.

Transportation is available to get clients to doctors appointments. The facility has a beautiful courtyard where the residents are able to sit outside and watch the birds and squirrels and enjoy the day talking. I would highly recommend Legends at Capital at Ridge to anyone who is looking.

Legend was excellent. It was significantly cheaper. It was my second choice. The memory care unit only had about 10 residents. I felt it lacked a quality social atmosphere as none of the residents I met were able to converse. They had great mental development focus. The facility is beautiful and the staff seemed good. Since they manage assisted living as well as memory care, I didn't feel they were as well designed to handle memory care.

The staff members at Sunrise of Lenexa were very helpful and very friendly. Every time we would come to visit they would always greet you by your first name which we really appreciated. The community is really nice, and overall a very good place. Our loved one was supposed to move into this certain room and before she was going to move in the changed out the carpet and repainted the walls. The staff were just so pleasant and we would recommend Sunrise of Lenexa to anybody.

It is a small community driven environment. Many people with diverse backgrounds. Surprisingly there are alot of Gentlemen there and not just women.They have a nice library for reading with internet access stations. The movie theater is very nice and always offers hot popcorn for those interested. There is an art room, field trips and a lovely outdoor sitting area. Small pets are welcome here which I thought was wonderful.

I toured Parkwest and the facility and tour were great! My loved one thought it was too expensive. The cleanliness/friendliness/staff were all great during our tour, also.

Stone Creek was very warm and inviting. [name removed] and [name removed] toured me and my wife and was very professional. Place is beautiful. The staff seemed very happy. [name removed], [name removed]and [name removed]were so friendly when we walked around. [name removed] answered all of our questions and alleviated any concerns we had. Highly Recommend Stone Creek!

I would highly recommend The Windsor of Bradenton. They have daily games, such as; Bingo, Dominos, Uno, musical entertainment, and a hair dresser comes in weekly. They respond fairly well. I have the nurse's and PA's e-mails, and they respond in a timely manner.

Our family had an in person tour with Heartis Yardley and we thought the tour experience was very nice, but the building was very bug and my sister is not that mobile. We just did not think it would fit her medical needs.

We chose The Windsor at San Pablo because the minute I walked in and toured, it really just felt like a place my mom would like. It reminded me of her own home. The place is beautiful and all the staff are very friendly.

Things have been really good at this facility. It's very open, airy, and large with large sized apartments. This facility gives you a feeling of your own space, but closeness at the same time. The staff are so kind. The head nurse is great. The front desk staff are also wonderful. They've had several changes in kitchen staff, but food has improved as they now have a wonderful head Chef. Not only is he a phenomenal Chef, but he's a phenomenal person. The Executive Director left recently and the temporary director who is filling in for that position right now is doing great. Hopefully they'll hire someone wonderful soon! They have a new Activities Director and that's improving as well. I would encourage anyone that I love to move here.

My mom LOVES it there!!! We liked this facility the best out of the ones that we toured with. The staff are very nice and the facility is clean and modern. Her room is large and really nice. I would absolutely recommend Atria McCandless to other families looking.

The food is generally good. We picked this community, becasue of the friendliness, they had an opening, and so things worked out. We are really pleased, and it is better than the last place. We appreciate the medical care, and they call to let us know what is going on and they communicate very well. I would recommend to other families.

I would tell others that they try very hard to accommodate the desires and habits and personalized care that your loved one may need. I think they are great about giving feedback so that you can feel like your family member is being well cared for and that they actually pay attention to detail and try to customize the care. I like that the facility is smaller and has a better staff-to-resident ratio. I would definitely recommend Sunrise of University Park.

I'm so glad my mom is here at this facility. It's always clean and always smells nice. There's a handful of staff members who know me by name and give me updates on my loved one. Communication with the family is very important to me and it's very good here. I can call and talk to the staff anytime and they really know what's happening with my loved one and also respond quickly. Housekeeping and Laundry are once a week and seem to be very well done. My loved one doesn't participate in the activities (not their fault at all), so I can't really rate those. The only problem I'm currently having is with the business office. They've had some turnover recently and I'm having a hard time getting a call back to address my billing questions. Otherwise, things are great at this facility. I would absolutely recommend this facility to family and friends.

The Windsor at Gainesville definitely gets 100% 5 stars. We like that the community is on a smaller scale, and of course like most other communities they are understaffed which is their only downfall - the staff that do work there are absolutely wonderful. They are beyond friendly and helpful and if they need help in another area the staff will come help - if they are down workers in the kitchen the director or sales representative will step in and we really like that. The facility itself is very well lit, it is tastefully decorated, they have high ceilings that make it feel much more roomier. The community feels very safe and is functional. It is very pleased to the eye, our loved ones really enjoy their apartment and feel very safe. The dining room is very enjoyable, they have great tablecloths with nice napkins where staff come to take your order. There are multiple meal options. They also have movies every night in the movie theater with popcorn.

Our family had an in person tour and it was excellent, the community itself is brand new so everything on the inside is very nice. The people we met with were very friendly, but because it is pretty expensive our loved one would of not been able to stay for very long.
