They have a memory care unit where our loved one was placed, but it definitely is more for those in the beginning stages. If your loved ones are farther along it may not work out, it seemed like the staff just did not really make an effort to walk the residents around and we just expected more

The place does not have a long term care license. They kicked out my loved one. I don't think the staff was trained on how to handle dementia patients. They were not keeping my loved one active during his time there. The assisted living place is fine but in the memory care unit had no activities. If you are needing long term care, this place is a no. If your loved one has dementia or Alzheimer's stay away.

we toured this community and it was very beautiful, it reminded me of a boutique hotel. the regulations they had in place did raise a few red flags. we also noticed that there weren't hardly any visitors at any time of the day. we have a few loved ones that we intended to keep together (under the same roof). at this community if a resident is initially placed in assisted care, but may later need memory care, they are not automatically transferred to the memory care unit. they would have to evaluate that individual, which may or may not result in a transfer. the possibility that one of our loved ones would have to be separated at some point did not work for me and my family.

We did not like Atria at Cranberry Woods at all. The rooms were very small but it was the same price as other facilities we looked into with rooms twice the size. I felt very disconnected from the staff.

The friendliness of the staff members tends to vary, and hopefully they have made improvements in the past few weeks but the management is poor. Within the care services, they also have extremely poor med management.

This was the first community that we toured and the memory care unit was on the second floor and this did not work for us because there was no outside area due to this without going downstairs and the outside area was not to safe for memory care.

We were able to drive by the community to check it out and just by looking at the outside it is very depressing, old and sad. Our loved one also had a lot of friends at HarborChase and they have either passed away or moved out of the community. There needs to be a lot of improvement.

Our family had a virtual tour and we were not really impressed with our experience. The gentlemen we spoke with seemed very abrupt and short with us. The community was brand new and the value for cost was extreme. We got the feeling he knew we couldn't afford it so he just wrote us off.

You can do better than here and go elsewhere. Our experience is all shaded by the pandemic and possibly the entire industry. Overall they do a good job of warehousing people. We have residents that haven't moved out of their rooms due to handicaps. The service and menu selections are good in our opinion. Breakfast is served in the residents rooms. We are tired of Styrofoam. We are ready to be in the dining room. We are just getting to the point to socialize with other residents. There is no communication with the residents from the management team. The community is nice and beautiful, but they need more activities available for the residents.

What we heard in the sales pitch was very much in line in our expectations for my loved ones. in an assisted living community. As a result of COVID, ultimately the community was not able to sustain their promises of proper care, activities, and their management staff had several change ups. The corporate group had to visit this community several times, at least one formal complaint to the State Agency while my loved ones were in the community. We left there when we couldn't come to an agreement with the operating director, to meet the level of expectations for care for our loved ones.

They had a lot of agency people to fill in for staff. They didn't know what they were doing. We were in quarantine for several months and the food that was delivered was horrible. The food in the dining room was decent. We left because we weren't happy. The community was poorly managed. All decisions had to be made by corporate they said, and blamed it on corporate as well. We were in quarantine for three months. The best thing about the community was the courtyard. I enjoyed sitting out there, and it was quiet. The fountain was soothing. Some of the care staff were wonderful.

We have not been able to visit the facility or step inside due to the restrictions, but while our loved one was there she got a second UTI. They had sent her to the hospital for the second time and they would not allow her to come back to the facility. We had to scramble to find another place quickly, we just felt they did not treat her good at all.

There were some issues with things coming up missing. Communication could be better. I know covid has affected the community and it's been very tough. I would not recommend this community at this time.

Im leaving my name off because my mother is still living at Lionwood, she has been there for 5 years, at first the food and house keeping was great, the past 2 years they can not keep housekeepers or a chef if you can call it that. Yes the management staff have been there for several years and are very nice and helpful. My mon had gone 3 weeks of know one cleaning her room, the food will its less then acceptable, during the lock down at times she doesn't get what she order, will guess what then she doesn't eat, she ordered a ham and cheese sandwich, will she gets 2 pieces of shaved ham and a slice of cheese, no lettuce, tomatoes or pickles, I asked the kitchen help about getting them they laugh and said problem not. I have talked to Management and the so called chef about the problem of the quality of food, and nothing has changed. Management had to come and clean her room. So yes management is nice, but that is all I can say about Lionwood that is way I gave them 2 stars

They were understaffed with the caregivers and LPNs. There were not enough medical staff and no nurses on the weekends. Some of the staff didn't have experience or patience with the residents. The food was shipped in, institutional, and terrible. They would not accommodate a no salt diet or other dietary needs. The food was served by the med techs and caregivers. There were some activities. Often my loved one's medications were mixed up or wrong. The building was nice and the apartment was nice. It requires family oversight and advocacy. It was a nightmare.

It is a beautiful place when you go see it and they make lots of promises that do not get fulfilled. My mom is not happy at all. The staff is very militant and the bark orders. My experience with communication is very poor. No one contact person, staff does not communicate to one another. They said they were going to do video conference and I had to ask 4 times.

Firstly - notice that all of the reviews that you see are dated from when Legends was Brookdale. It is no longer the same facility. Legends is understaffed. Pagers are going off continuously. This leaves your loved one unattended and left places to be forgotten, which happened to our loved one. If your loved one is Independent, they would be fine, but if they have to rely on someone for daily help - the bare minimum will be done. Their teeth won't get brushed, their face won't be washed. We signed the initial contract and the price kept rising and fluctuating. We had to constantly advocate for our love one's care. We constantly had to ask about why they were not following the laws. The day we left - I was left in the medication room, alone, for over 10 minutes. Also, notice that most of their state violations are for falls.

Short staffed. Some impatient and rude nurses and aides. Some staff don't want to wait for a patient to use the bathroom, even if the patient is a fall risk and shouldn't be left alone. Could do better about basic hygiene cares. Food is good and cook and kitchen staff are helpful.

Beautiful place, but way too much turnover. If you are able to live in the assisted living area there are wonderful activities ( at least it seems so), but if you are in Memory Care, not much stimulation. No one answers the phone in the memory care department, and a lot of the time, it’s very hard to communicate with anyone. As soon as you start liking one of the caregivers, and your loved one gets comfortable with them, they’re gone. Way too expensive for that, as far as I’m concerned.
