The Legend at Council was a great place to tour, and my mother's sister lives there as well and they seem to really like it. This is the place I hoped that my parents would choose but they ended up choosing another community.

My mother-in-law lived here before her passing. We were very pleased with the care she was receiving.Our only issue is they had a salmonella outbreak right before her passing and they did not inform us. Her health was already compromised and they have been very quiet about the outbreak. They have been very understanding during this time.

facility had pleasing decor, clean, well kept,small outside enclosed garden area, would have liked more space. Staff friendly and welcoming. Month to month rental of units.

We toured this community. The staff was nice and attentive. The community was not as clean as we wanted and there was an odor. This community is on the smaller side. They had a lot of nice activities that are offered to the resident.s We suggest that families tour this community for care of a loved

My mother's been at Windsor at Ortega for a little over 2 years, now. Overall she's very happy. The nursing, housekeeping and office staff are all friendly and personable and really care, individually about the residents. When Mom needs to be away at the hospital for a few days, staff at Ortega are genuinely concerned about what's going on with her, how she's doing and when she might be back. When I'm there, I've never passed a Windsor employee who didn't say hello and give me a truly genuine smile, and if my Mom's away, actually stop and ask how she's doing and what's going on with her recovery. Recently, my mother and I hear about a new assisted living facility about to open much closer to me than the Windsor. It was equal as far as policies, offerings, etc., in most ways otherwise, and very close in price, with the only real difference being a much closer distance from me. After considering a tour only very briefly we both agreed we just weren't interested. My mother is so happy where she is and has so many friends, activities and more or less "family" feeling connections at Windsor that we just aren't interested in moving her, or her in moving. Having said all that, the only fault we would find there at this time is that care staff is often short-handed and really should have more working on certain shifts, especially at night. Even with that somewhat of a problem at times, my mother is not interested in leaving the Windsor anytime soon.

Enjoyed our visit with [Removed] and the information she gave us on insurance and property was great! The rooms did not have the amenities-fridge, microwave, cable included in rooms. Room layout was nice. It does have the homey feeling and plenty of activities.

Lovely Facility. Very Resort, Hotel feel throughout.Gorgeous lobby with lots of activity. Debbie, admissions, very caring , kind, and knowledgable. Negative-not all inclusive monthly fee; add ons for every thing which makes it difficult to predict final monthly cost. Plus $3000 one time application fee!

The Arbor House Assisted Living was a very nice place. It was clean and everyone that we came into contact with was very nice. When we toured it, we had already found a community we liked, but this place was very nice as well.

So far everything is working out pretty well since our move to this community. There is still some issues we are working out, but hopefully with time things improve. This is a nice community. They do a good job with the cleanliness of the facility. The staff is good for the most part, but they seem to think since I live with my wife, that I have to take care of her most of the time. I would like for them to be a little more attentive. They have a new chef, and hopefully the meals improve. It is still a work in progress, but this is a good community overall.

This community is fantastic, unfortunately though it did not seem to be the right fit for mom's personality. It seemed like an active community. The people we met during the tour were nice and helpful.

The Rosewood was a very nice place! During my tour, I noticed that it was very visually appealing. The place was clean and organized. The staff was all friendly and welcoming. When we were walking around, the residents were doing activities and did not seem very motivated, my mother is very active so it would not have been a good fit for her.

My brother really enjoyed his stay while he was at this community. They staff where all very friendly and treated him just like he was family which made him feel very welcomed in there facility. They had a great meal selection to choose from and the great thing about the menu is if you did not like the food they where serving you could choose an alternative meal to eat. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone looking into retirement.

Being a new family and my mom has had two other moves this year, I think things are working thus far better than the other first rated places. Health staff & care seem to fit her needs. Plus she has a caregiver 25 hrs/wk. Since it does not claim to be mostly for folks of the same faith, it’s a little overwhelming with xmas music playing so much. And they do not offer services for other faiths on site. So that would be nice. Love the pet therapy policy, It’s hard to get her to her doctors in the City, so we’ll have to see about getting her an alternate MD yet the better hospitals are in the City. Their care philosophy is a good one. “Aging in place”. The biggest problem is that at such a high cost of living, you’d think they would welcome credit card payments. I believe at this level of care, that should be a courtesy without question. A little policy & info sharing up front would help the transitions, otherwise, it’s as good as I’ve seen it at anywhere! And it’s at the top of a hill, to boot! Great sunrises! Keep up the good work!

My tour of this community went very well. The staff was wonderful, they answered all my questions. Also they were informative. The community looked well maintained, and clean. I was very impressed with this community. We happened to find another community that fit my mother needs better, but this is a very nice place.

My mom is getting very nice care from this community. The staff seem to provide the right care for her and she says the meals are fine and looks to be good. I would recommend this community to my close ones.

This is a great community. The staff is wonderful. My mom is looking really good and like being able to get involved with activities. The food appears to be good with a nice variety. She is also happy that the rooms are very clean. We would recommend this community to other families.

The staff is very friendly, however I would like to see more encouragement of residents to participate in the daily activities. There is only one registered nurse and one LPN on staff. The community is clean and the food is good. They clean her apartment and do her laundry

Nice facility and nice staff. 32 rooms. I was there at lunch and the food looked great.

My loved one has absolutely loved participating in the activities and is kept busy throughout the day. The food they offer is tasty and a variety of options are given. The overall staff is great, although the nursing staff could be more prompt on getting information back to families of loved ones.
