This is more specific to my situation, but I think in situations like mine where I was putting my mother there because I was 800 miles away, I would have liked to call and get updates on her easier, but I also understand that my mom made it difficult for staff to do that. Also, I wish they would have been a little more bluntly honest with me. I knew my mom was causing some headaches, and I wish they would have just told me. They wouldn't have hurt my feelings and I wouldn't have been offended, I know she can be a handful. However, without anyone telling me, I wasn't able to address it 1-on-1 with my mom. All of those things are minor, we had a good experience overall

A couple of the girls are not helpful and mean! The med techs don't call back always and don't seem to care so much! The place is beautiful, the food is great! Most of the staff are nice and helpful

Clean friendly welcoming place and relatively newly built. Rooms are a nice size too. Midsized facility so not so big but still having enough activities to keep her busy and happy. Based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend this community to others!

This is our first experience with any memory care and/or senior residence. I picked Arbor House Reminisce because it was small (48 residents - 12 men & 24 women when full. Small is good and bad. The good…my husband does not get lost , bad …..not many places to walk, good is they have two garden areas with chairs. Limited space. As small as it is , you get to know all of the caretakers in all of the areas because they switch areas a lot. The caretakers are nice and most of them seem to really care about their patients. There seems to be a lot of employee turn-over, but most businesses are lately. The caretakers that have been there a while are the ones that care a lot. It is a very hard job caring for people in their last stages of life. All in all it is a very nice place. Is very clean and very rarely smells bad. Rooms are small and bathrooms are shared between two rooms, which my husband does not like. There is one shower room in the hallway for 12 residents.

I'm [name removed] neice & my SIL [name removed] does a lot of, Just communication needed, And please let my auntie sit at a dining table with other ladies (she sits w a women who does not talk) Please again just relocate to another table & she needs pillows to sit on, hard of hearing Thank you

*Really pay attention to how you are dealt with and how each admin. staff leaves you feeling. *Pay attention to Senior nurse in how knowledgeable they are. *Speak up when you feel or sense something is off or your request or concerns aren't being acknowledged.

Within the first few minutes of us walking in the door, we both looked at each other and said "this is it!" Everybody was super friendly, employees and residents, it didn't smell, the kitchen was good about my mom's gluten intolerance, great activities director and activities! My husband and I have already told our sons to put us there when we need assisted living.

Excellent maintenance staff. There have been some transience in front desk and admin. Cleaning staff very good.

We had a good experience. We picked this community because it was close to home.

I would let others looking know to be aware that the meals, the activities, and other amenities are not the same in memory care as in the assisted living area.

What I like best is that it is small - 45 apartments in Personal care, so my mom is known by everyone and receives good care. The staff are great - very friendly and kind. The size of her apartment is perfect. The fact that it is one floor is wonderful. They could improve the food. I've had meals with her and the food is really bad. It is overcooked. Proteins are dried out and leather hard. Vegetables are cooked to the point of being mush. Most plates are returned to the kitchen with a lots of food on them. They need to make this area better.

The staff is generally very friendly and helpful, but they are short handed, like many facilities. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families but far more expensive than your representative indicated. Over $[removed] per month

Staff is great and always friendly. I would rate each category with a 4 except for the cost and maybe the food. Price is ridiculously high for seniors. Also, my mom is not thrilled with the food. Not a lot of variety. Weekend staff availability is minimal. I am her daughter, [name removed] responding for her.

Very welcoming. The other residents made my father in law feel welcome in all activities right away. Really appreciated that. Clean, very good food per my father in law.

We picked this community because it is proximity to family and the unit that she got is one of the few that have her own door into the common courtyard and a little patio. Food is fantastic. And she does a lot of the activities.

The Legend at Tulsa Hills has been an excellent facility for my mother. The facilities are clean, they have scheduled activities every day, and the staff genuinely cares about my mother.

The Remington is a wonderful place. It's new and bright and uplifting. I'm sure if they were adequately staffed more of our responses would be 5s. We understand they face the same staffing challenges as all businesses do these days, and the staff that is there are wonderful, caring people. My mom is happy there and has made friends with residents and staff. The food isn't bad but it would be nice if they had more fresh fruit and vegetables instead of so many carbs. Thank you for helping us find the Remington!

It’s has been a journey and only with hindsight can we see that this was a good path for mom. Sunrise is the right fit as its community / family atmosphere feels like a home. The employees are extremely responsive and while adjusting to living in assisted living has taken a long time for Mom, she’s happier each day.

The facility is very nice. Lots of activities from which to choose. Excellent food well prepared with lots of variety. The staff are friendly and mostly helpful. The only criticism I have is that my mother doesn’t always get all the assistance she needs. But overall she is much better off than she was before moving to StoneCreek.

I really liked the proximity to where I lived and the showers were well designed. There was no lip or step up which was good because my father has mobility issues. I liked the activities offered too. Staff has been very good but there seems to be a lot of turnover. Facility is very well kept and clean.
