I have been very impressed with my choice to have my husband live at Harbor Chase. He seems very happy and enjoys his daily ice cream treat in the ice cream parlor. The grounds lend to a pleasant daily walk with a serene environment. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. There are plenty of activities if one cares to join in. I also like the idea of progressive care, if needed. I would have no problem recommending Harbor Chase.

Absolutely beautiful! Everything is elegant and the staff very friendly and informative. It was one of our top two choices for my parents. The movie theatre, spa, bistro, country kitchen, etc., were inviting. I would live there myself!

We are pretty happy with it so far. It's clean and the staff is friendly. The food is pretty good generally, and they have choices. There are a lot of activities and entertainment going on, and they have a nice patio area where they can sit outside when the weather is nicer.

I'm very pleased with it. I liked the fact that it didn't smell like urine. Some of the other places smelled like urine. I saw that some of the residents had cars and could go places and that the residents were active instead of just sitting around in a vegetative state. I liked the grounds and the walking paths there. The dining room is setup like a restaurant. The staff was friendly there.

Windsor is wonderful. It hits high marks on the top three: safety, cleanliness and dining. Friendly, caring staff go the extra mile for their residents and great location is just icing on the cake. They have a variety of activities that all residents can enjoy. Pool table, poker and putting green for the men. Movies, Beauty Salon, and book club appeal to the women. Daily work outs for all. Special celebrations abound. Be it the big events such as Valentines Day and Christmas, or Friday Happy Hour complete with live music and munchies, Windsor keeps the fun going. A unique feature of Windsor is their approach to care. Services and assistance is based on the individual's requirements and priced on a sliding scale that is adjusted as health care needs change. Couples stay together under this approach, even if one is more independent than the other. Windsor is pet friendly. Mom moved in with her small dog, Molly. During the adjustment of becoming familiar with her new home, we learned what an escape artist Molly can be! Staff and residents showed great humor as Molly lead us on a merry chase. All are settled in nicely now and staff even helps out with the daily dog walks. Mom's apartment is really nice. Though it doesn't have a kitchen, it does have a full refrigerator, sink, and microwave. This is more than adequate because all meals, snacks, and hydration visits are included. Residents eat in the dining room and are served by the same staff they see throughout the day. This helps care givers keep tabs on resident's eating habits. Food is healthful and good and Chef is more than happy to meet special nutritional needs. Rooms are thoughtfully designed with easy wheelchair access in bathroom and large walk in closet. Mom's apartment is a one bedroom and has room for a small kitchen table, love seat, 2 easy chairs, and a flat screen TV. Staff was happy to help us mount the TV and arrange furniture. All rooms have a pull chord for emergencies or just a helping hand. Windsor is in a great location. Just off of a major interstate highway with a motel under a mile away, visits from out of town friends and family is easy. Windsor is also near shopping and entertainment. Transportation is part of the services and staff is happy to take residents to shops, local events and doctor appointments. Mom loves it at Windsor and I recommend it highly to others looking for assisted living.

The best greeter in the business. Everyone is working as a team to help my mother. She is treated well, not like too much trouble to handle like she was at another local place.

I couldn't be more pleases for this place for my mom. The staff is excellent, understand, compassionate and helpful. My mom is pleasantly confused on the Alzheimer wing. The staff calls me when there is anything they think I should know about. The food is excellent, the activities are well planned, and when ever I take my mom down to the coffee shop (that's what we call it) on the first floor, she is always greeted by name. Bonnie the receptionist is fantastic, and you could not ask for a better person than Kaycee (In charge of my mom floor). I have nothing but the highest praise for Sunrise Senior Living of McCandless. I hope my kids put me here should the time come.

I think Sunrise of Upper St. Clair does an exceptionally good job taking care of memory and dementia care residents.The facility is clean and well kept, and the staff are accommodating and professional. The only issue is the cost, which is very high. But if budget is not a concern you can't do better than Sunrise.

The Caregivers are the most friendly people and always happy and in a good mood. Very patient, kind and attentive to the residents. My mother is very happy there and seems quite content. The meals look very appetizing and nutritious. Family members have stated it's a very nice and clean environment; something they weren't expecting from a dementia care facility, I guess.

Mom seems to like it so far. Hasn't really been particapating in activities but did go to a musical and did do flower arrangement. She enjoyed doing these. Enjoys the food. She's eating better than when she was living here. Lunch is the main meal of the day and they are given four different things to choose from. It is clean, never saw any dirt while there. Everybody is friendly here, they say hi to you whether they know you or not. We think its a great place overall.

Amazing atmosphere, top notch staff!

My dad has been at this facility for about seven weeks. He is still mourning his independence, but I believe this facility has made the process as best as it could be. The name is now Lionwood as the facility was purchased by Blue Harbor. My dad's only complaint is that the quality of the food is sometimes lacking, but he is notorious for sending back his food 50% of the time he eats out at a restaurant. They do have a lot of activities, but he has been slow to get involved.

Our parents would ideally prefer to leave and go home, but that has nothing to do with Sunrise at University Park, but just that they would prefer to be able to live at home. Sunrise at University Park has been really great overall and we have all been as pleased as could be. It is a wonderful place and they are very friendly and helpful.

We're very pleased with how things have turned out at Emeritus at Gainesville! Id' give them high marks across the board, they do so many things right! They've got a great variety of daily activities, the staff are all very friendly, and the food couldn't be better! They've got a salon on site, and gourmet chefs in the kitchen. I'd highly recommend this place!

Emeritus of Gainesville is a great place for my mother who is in the Alzheimer's Assisted care unit. The assistance and care she receives considering the challenges of this disease is outstanding! Emeritus was recently merged under Brookdale Sen ior Living Solutions based in Milwaukee, WI. Many changes have occurred or are ongoing. A fulltime RN is on duty during the daytime/early evening hours, and on call after hours for immediate assistance/emergencies. A licensed Gerontology MD is on staff and treats patients who desire her services right at the facility. Emeritus is now able to do lab work under her supervision, give meds (care provider staff are trained and able to provide medications, and a visiting podiatrist visit can be regularly scheduled, as can physical therapy sessions. The facility has an in house beauty salon also. Food is wonderful, a good variety of choices, all prepared in-house by trained chefs - gourmet caliber! Visitors can dine with the residents any time they want for a small price. There are no \\call ahead\\ requirements to visit, which means you can check on and observe the quality of care at any time unannounced. Many supervised activities take place daily - arts, crafts, lectur e series, visiting performers from schools, etc. Considering the ever-rising costs of such a facility, Emeritus pricing is VERY reasonable in today's market.

Green Tree is fabulous! It's great. Mom is just loving it there. It's clean and the staff is friendly. We are very happy with it. I would give them a five, they are really good, we don't have any concerns at all.

Moved my mother into Harbor Chase 1 month ago. She is thrilled by their care, & attentiveness as well as enjoying the other wonderful residents who live there. No place can ever be perfect but the managers and entire staff make every effort to accommodate my Mom to help her settle in. She had been living in an independent ALF in Naples but due to progressing Altzheimers and physical de-conditioning was unsafe to live alone and felt lonely. She now feels secure, receives her medications, reminded when to eat and enjoys the multiple social activities they offer. They provide medical services to choose from, PT/OT, plus much more. The facility is clean, bright and attractive. The outside grounds are breathtaking. My Mom says she feels like she is on vacation! The food is age appropriate and tasty, they have an ice cream parlor, in home theatre, beauty salon, as well as outside entertainment. The atmosphere feels warm and you will find the staff positively interacting with the residents. And on top of everything else....my Mom has her dog with her, who is also enjoying her new home!

My mom has been there for 3 weeks, so she is still getting used to it, this is her first time at a retirement center, but every body has been very helpful, she like the food,
