They’re outstanding. Just all the way across the board, they’re just outstanding. They’re very clean and the people there are very nice. We’ve never had trouble finding parking. All I can say is that it’s an outstanding community.

My sister is very pleased about everything at The Wellington except she finds the transportation options a little lacking. She currently is recovering from a broken arm and should be able to drive again soon so this will probably sort itself out. The only thing she gave less than 5 stars was under Activities as she said they are fairly meager. She did add that she believes they are working to expand their current offerings.

They are a little on the high side. The activities are improving, but it depends on the individual. The staff is really very friendly and very helpful and very caring. There have only been very minor issues. I went out there … and one day I did breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I can not say enough about Sunrise of Upper St Claire. My mother was sitting in a nurshing home bed, gown open down her back saying: "what does it matter?" "who cares?" "what difference does it make", and the nurses were standing around recommending anti-depressants. ALL WE NEEDED was to get her OUT of there. She was to high a level of care for a low level of care Assisted Living, but NOW - she has joy - she plays cards EVERY where you look when you visit her in Memory Care, you see the heels of a care giver walking away AND the bright smile of another coming toward you. I had such stress and tears to see mother in that nursing home, NOW I have a peaceful smile on my pillow EVERY night when I go to bed. WORTH EVERY PENNY. Expensive - BUT THAT IS WHAT OUR PARENTS SAVED FOR: their old age. God Bless everyone who works at this wonderful facility. They are amazing. She also gets a jacuzzi bath - ALL other communities only had showers - mother was always a bath girl. THAT gives me joy as well!!!! She is bowel incontinent and 2 person assist. BUT - she can still play a mean game of bridge...in other words ..she was VERY cognizant which is WHY she was so darn depressed in a NURSING HOME!!!!!!!!

This is a gorgeous community. They are very nice. They have good food and lots of activities. I found a different community that was closer to us. But made sure it was comparable to The Regent. This seems to be the standard. They offer so much.

Friendly, welcoming, caring The apartments are small. Have plans for lots of activities to ensure that residents maintain their mental acuity. Crafts, cards and board games, day trips, barbeques, Alhambra, their own movie theater. Safe enclosed grounds. Computers for residents who do not have their own or family members who need to have access while there. Halls wide for safety. Baths wheel chair accessible. Menu varied and residents can request personal preferences ie no gravies. Pet friendly dog walking available. We like this facility and most likely this is where Mom will be moving to.

It was very likable and probably our second choice. It's a newer community and the kitchens and the bathrooms are a little more updated, than the one we chose. It was a little on the fancy side for us. Very nice though.

They did an excellent job here, overall! My loved one was unfortunately only here for a short time, but we were very impressed by what they provided while she was here. The only negative aspect is that when we had to call an ambulance and she was out of the facility for a week they never called to see how she was doing. I don't want to dock them any stars for that, but it left a bad taste in our mouths.

They have beautiful rooms and very nice, confident, friendly people. I thought they were very nice, and the food was excellent with very attractive plating. The people really went out of their way to be nice. I think she enjoyed the activities and making valentines, and socializing at meals. It's very pretty and has a courtyard with plenty of places for people to sit outside and it's landscaped very nicely. Rooms are nice and well decorated quiet clean and has a home like atmosphere.

My family and i really liked the Sunrise of Lenexa community. We like the fact it was a family owned (husband/wife) feel, the layout. We really like how there were individual kitchens where it felt like it was their own. The whole enviornment had a homey feel to it. I would suggest this community to anyone who is considering.

The Windsor was very clean, very comfortable and inviting looking. The staff were very helpful, friendly, greeted us warmly. Provided us with information paperwork quickly. Only problem was their house doesn't provide the type of skilled nursing care we need for our mother.

I have been very pleased with the whole place. The food was better when she first got there than they are now. They have options, but they seem to be doing a lot of fried foods lately, they had more variety before. The staff is just wonderful, the dining staff, the front office, the housekeepers, they are all really pleasant. This was also the most affordable option for her, and it includes her meals and houskeeping. They do have some activities and games. When they participate you get wellington dollars you can use for an auction that they have around the holidays. They have a beauty shop there, but the girl that runs it is just not very good. She can wash and dry and set, but she doesn't know how to color hair, and she has messed up a cut a few times. There is a little store in there and you put money on your apartment account, they give you a card, and they just mark it down when they come in, and you can refill it when you run out. They have a home health agency centered in the community, but you don't have to use it you can find your own. When the residents see new people they are really good about welcoming you, and being friendly, after 2 weeks she had already made four friends. They also assign a person to come and take you to meals, and encourage participation in activities, a hostess program. The head houskeeper has been there since the place opened.

Wonderful! But too expensive, in comparison to Sterling house, they considerably more. It's a newer facility with dementia completely separated from assisted living, and you pay by the stage they fall in to. If you're totally independent, it is pretty affordable, but the level of care increases the price by a lot. Based on the way it looked and their professionalism, I really liked it.

It's a very lovely place. We chose this over others because they had more of the size and type of housing that we were looking for.

Apartments were a great size. A great value for the price, common areas were large and comfortable.

We really like this place. The staff seem particularly well trained when it comes to dealing with Alzheimer's patients. It's clean and bright on the inside, lots of natural sunlight, and it generally has a nice homey feel.

Everything at this community was great. It was very nice looking, and clean, it gave me the impression of a luxury hotel. The staff and the residents were all very friendly, and the staff seemed to know everyone by name. They really seemed interested in everyone individually. It was very expensive, but the service they provided for that price looked excellent.

It is very elegant and very nice, one of the nicest, and brand new. Very centrally located, but the best thing was that the staff was super, super friendly. My dad came in ill and angry and most of them worked their way into his heart. They truly saved his life by giving him something to look forward to every day. They went out of their way to accommodate his chemo schedule, and when my mom got ill, too, they worked with our entire family. They are only about $500 more than some of the other places we looked at, which were terrible! The Windsor is one of the best things that could have happened, and they deserve the best review.

Her room is smaller, but she is happier there, and that is my biggest thing. She is not so much about going home, and she smiles a lot. She will tell me what they do that is good, most of the time it is all good. She is usually out with the group and participating, and she likes the treats. I am much happier because the rate has stayed the same. I have never seen the help be disrespectful or treat the residents like they are idiots. She goes to church and she has access to Catholic stuff, which she likes. They feed her differently than she is used to, but she likes it. She is enjoying fish and soup for the first time in her life, when before she never liked those things. I had almost written Sunrise off because the building was not very fancy, but I am so glad that we went here. When I first walked in, there were people in all of the rooms, more interaction was going on. More I looked and saw the people, I realized that this was a really great place. The first thing my cousin said when she saw that place was that everyone in here is old! She is very happy now, though.
