I placed my 93 year old mother at The Windsor at San Pablo 6 months ago and have been so pleased with the facility and staff. From the day I met the Sales Director, [Removed] and her team, my mother and I were embraced like we were already a part of their family! They were so excited she was a "Rosie the Riveter" World War II veteran and couldn't wait for her to join their family of veterans. Their passion and caring for the residents is transparent and in the wake of Hurricane Matthew they exceeded my expectations. [Removed] Best, Residence Director, rolled out the red carpet for our family and invited us to stay with Mom during a very stressful weather experience. Not just our family, but they also included the families of their employees so they could be together during the storm in a safe environment. This speaks volumes to their level of care for their residents and as an employer! My Mom is happy & secure at the Windsor and I am so grateful for her her Windsor family and for making the decision to move her to The Windsor of San Pablo!

This place is definitely a 5! My mother is very hard to please and the staff is very patient with her.The food is excellent. They have a chef and he cooks all the meals from scratch. They even offer custom meals all day. We chose this community because they offer multiple levels of care. They offer a smaller patient to staff ratio in the assisted living so it is more individualized care.

My sister and I met with [Removed] to tour after two other tours the same day. We found this community to be warm and friendly and the atmosphere to be more of a "home" environment. We believe our family member would be safe and well taken care of here.

This is a very nice and clean community with friendly residents and staff. The apartment and community was not better than our other option. The apartment was not as big, it did not have a porch, no outdoor view from apartment, not close to the family and I, and there were not as many activities.

We couldn't be happier with how things have turned out with Asbury Village, it's a wonderful place! The administrator, [Removed], is extremely good. She really goes the extra mile. She's taken a lot of time to get to know my mother, and I've even seen her stay late a few times to work puzzles with Mom to keep her company. She and all of the staff are friendly, caring, and professional, and they treat the residents like family! They even had a special soup dinner where all of the staff brought soup in, and the residents were encouraged to invite however many family members they wanted! The facility itself is clean, well kept, and small enough that I know Mom won't feel overwhelmed. I feels like a perfect fit!

My mother in law is doing great since her move to this community. She has adjusted very well to it, and we are very pleased with everything they have done for us. We know this is a safe, good facility. The staff is wonderful, they are taking good care of her. She has even told us that she doesn't wanna come home, she is happy with this community. I would recommend it.

We are very happy with the care at this community. The staff is really caring and respectful. The meals are very good and a nice variety. They are participating in the activities that are offered. We would recommend this community to other families for the care and the value of a loved one.

I took a tour of Legend & I fell in Love with this place. It is Beautiful! There was Great music playing (not very loud) & it smelled nice everywhere we went. The Work staff there are wonderful! They really do seem to care about the residents. My Mom has been there since January 29 except for a week she had to go back to the hospital. She seems to have adapted very well here at Legend. She was even able to take part in playing Bingo last week & I was amazed at how good she was able to keep up with 2 cards. She won 3 times! She also got to attend the Valentines Party last Thursday evening & I think she really enjoyed herself. Now her health has taken a downhill turn & she is only up in her wheelchair during meal times. She must spend the rest of the time in her bed with an air mattress & they come in to turn her on each side & her back periodically to help prevent bed sores etc. I was so excited about her getting to come to live at Legend & I am so happy she is there. Due to her health, she is unable to ride along when the other residents leave on an outing somewhere & that just breaks my heart. After saying that, I am quite certain she does not have any idea that she is missing out on anything. I like to go spend a little time with her everyday but if I miss a day, I don't have any reason to worry because I know that she is being looked after & well taken care of judging by what I observe between the staff & the residents when I am there. I enjoy getting acquainted with the residents & talking to them & assisting them whenever possible. The residents are so sweet & Loveable. It is comforting to know that My Mom is among them. If you are looking for the perfect place for someone you Love, I believe you would be very happy with Legend.

We are happy with the great care from this community. The staff are outstanding and keep us updated on her progress. The food is very good. They do offer her a lot of great activities that she is enjoying. She has special needs on her meals and they are very assisting. We would recommend the great care and value to other families.

Extremely nice! Very clean and clients seem happy.Several activities available! [Removed] and staff are very helpful! High end facility but it is worth the price!

My main reason for selecting this community is based on the friendly people, the atmosphere, and the location. So far all is going fine for my husband. He is getting good care from friendly and professional staff. The meals and activities have been good. I would recommend this community to my family and friends.

Very professional, clean, well maintained. So much better than facility Dad is currently in, we requested to begin process of getting him moved in without looking further.

My father moved into The Windsor at Ortega two years ago at the age of 90. The Windsor has been a tremendous blessing to him, and hence to all of his family. He is well cared for, with delicious meals prepared by three gourmet chefs, with daily exercise classes and varied, interesting activities, and with a staff that is loving and caring. Whatever he wants or needs, The Windsor knocks themselves out to provide. It feels like home, and the staff feels like family. I could not imagine a better place to live.

We did like the community and what they had to offer. Everyone here was really caring and very helpful with us. The residents were even out and they all seemed to be happy. They even followed up with us.

Very pretty facility, room layout is nice, enjoyed visiting with [Removed] - there is a waiting list. Not sure it is the right property for my mom. They seem to have plenty of activities and ammenities.

I moved to Lionwood on May 31, 2016. I have experienced nothing but heaven on earth! I am most excited about the three meals a day, housekeeping, and all bills being paid. The staff has been exceptionally helpful, compassionate, and caring. On a scale of 1-10, I rate them "10". I have been telling all of my family and friends about Lionwood. If you're looking for a home., look no further! I love the experience that I am having as a resident of Lionwood Senior Living. Less I forget, the activities and social life is extremely fun and exciting.

I helped my father move in, I was there for 5 days and talked to a lot of people. I was very impressed with the staff and how friendly everyone was. We really liked it and my father was happy while he was there. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Lionwood has a many great features that I saw on my tour. First, the menu selection is like a restaurant and the display plate looked and smelled amazing. Second, it was clean, NO ODORS!!! And third, the residents were smiling and happy. They had an activity schedule posted and it had alot of different activities that looked fun. They also have a general store and beauty shop. #1 on my list

The Regent was one of 4 places suggested by A Place for Mom, and the first I visited. The other places were okay, but just not as nice. They were running a special offer so their prices were competitive. Otherwise it would have likely been the priciest, and possibly out of our reach financially. I found the facilities cheery, classy, and well-maintained. The staff (including housekeeping and the wait staff) was very friendly, and everyone seemed glad to be working there. The residents seemed happy as well, and offered unprompted comments about how much they liked it. The only way the Regent didn't measure up to some of the other, older facilities was that their closets were not as big/deep. We found them adequate, and are storing some of my parents things (seasonal items, suitcases) in our attic. Although it's been a lot of work to move my parents here from halfway across the country, moving them to such a nice place has really helped with the transition. We rest easier knowing they are being well cared for, and are glad to be able to physically check in on them at a moment's notice.
