I went on a tour here and the staff was friendly and helpful. They answered all of my questions. It was very nice and clean. It was a newer building. Just wasn't a fit for dad. I would tell families to tour communities before making a decision.

My mother has been here for a little bit over a month and we are very pleased. As far as my mother’s care goes, I give them a 5-star rating. Everyone there is very helpful, caring and supportive of her. Their staff team has this system where they would appoint someone to look after one hall in the facility. The hall that my mother’s in is a good fit for her. The residents are not restricted to their hall; they are free to roam about like my mother does. She will sing Karaoke in the other houses and occasionally eat her meals there too. The staff likes to encourage the residents to be up and about, especially for their activities. They have something happening every day pretty much. While I was there last week, they had a group of acapella choir from one of the home school groups and they sang Christmas carols. The residents were encouraged to go and they would sing along. If they weren’t about to make it down there they were assisted by the staff. All in all I am very pleased.

The staff has been excellent here and they’ve been very responsive anytime we talk or have a question about the care my Mom is receiving. The food is excellent and Mom really likes it. It seems to be well balanced and well portioned so they don’t get too much of it. There are plenty of options to choose from and you can either get something really healthy or something more regular. The facility is very clean and there are no smells or anything like that. Housekeeping comes by every Monday to do her laundry first thing in the morning, dump the garbage, and then they clean the bathrooms and floors. I would recommend them.

My mom lives here. It’s been a tough adjustment and we’re still trying to work with her on the things she needs and stuff like that but overall it’s been good. The staff interacts with her well and she knows all of the different people. I had lunch with her and the food they served was good, she seems to like it. The chef, from my understanding, has had the residents talk with him about the types of foods they like and don’t like. There are plenty of options and if there’s something not on the menu that someone wants, they try to accommodate. Every time I’ve been there, I haven’t seen anything out of place or any trash anywhere. It always seems really clean. My mom has said that they sometimes have repetitive activities going on but I think that’s more so for the people that need to keep a routine. They have happy hours, bingo, movies, and you can even sit down with the director and talk with her about how things are being handled. They offer floral arranging and once a week they’ll take the residents out on field trips. During the holidays they’ll bring in entertainers to sing for everyone. It doesn’t look like a nursing home but rather just someone’s home, so it’s very welcoming. I would recommend them.

The place is beautiful. At this time there is not a small one bedroom available.

This facility was better that I expected. It’s such a beautiful place and all of the staff members were very caring. When my Mother needed help, there was always a nurse on call for her. They were so supportive of her condition and accommodating. The staff was very attentive and made sure she was comfortable. Everyone was just great and it’s a really nice facility. My mother really loved the food as well. It’s more of a restaurant style didn’t and she loved everything that they served. In the beginning the transition was really iffy, but they had a lot of new residents moving in at once. I would definitely recommend this community.

They were able to get him in this community quickly. The whole staff knows my dad's name and they know us when we visit, and I mean all the staff. They go and actually visit with dad. They are very attentive.The dining room is nice and the food is excellent. There are lots of daily activities that he will be joining soon. They have transportation available. It is very clean without looking sterile. I recommend this place all the time.

Let's face it, there is no assisted-living, memory care or independent living situation that is going to provide a 5 star rating each and everyday. For a loved one in this type of facility, things can hum along one day and be chaotic the next. It can be a very difficult time in not only the residences life, but also the lives of their families and friends. So, when you are looking for a facility try to find one that is clean, has a caring staff of nurses and associates that meet or exceed your expectations like the staff at, The Windsor. You can count on them to manage any situation with care and genuine concern for the wellbeing of their residents. The Windsor is a moderate sized facility, so you will feel more of a home style atmosphere. The residents, if you spend any time there, will become a part of you and enrich your life in ways you never thought possible. This facility and staff are very welcoming and makes you to feel like you are part of a larger family. The Life Enrichment program deserves a 5 star rating and a gold medal - one of the pearls that The Windsor offers that sets them apart from other AL facilities. This program keeps the residents involved and busy all day long and special events happen on a continual basis, bringing the residents and their families closer. This facility has a large number of Veterans and The Windsor goes out of their way to recognize our war heroes for their service and contributions. Just take a stroll out to the courtyard where you'll see a different military flag flying with Olde Glory each month. Or walk down the hallway on the second floor to see flags from each branch of the military proudly on display. This pride for our Veterans is prevalent throughout the facility and embodies the attitude of each of The Windsor's staff, residents and their families.

The Windsor of Cape Coral has an OUTSTANDING staff. The atmosphere is filled with joy, peace, laughter, smiles and happiness. The staff is endearing to the residents and you can "FEEL THE LOVE" they have for each other and their residents. The Windsor is like going back in time to when families were families sitting on the porch and sharing food, fellowship and life together. Its like taking a trip back to the Walton's where life was easy and relaxed. Whether you are a visitor or a friend come and experience the quality of how life can truly be when love is in the air. There is a reason that the WINDSOR was voted Cape Coral's BEST!

I was given a list of names of locations to go tour while I was trying to find a place for my loved one. The reason why I felt more comfortable with this facility is because the staff here has a lot of heart. They really do care about the people that live here and are very accommodating with the relatives’ requests for their loved ones. The facility is very clean; housekeeping does the resident’s laundry I believe once a week and clean once a week as well. They offer many activities for residents and patients to do in their free time. They have a special area for the memory care patients, in the lounge I believe, where they feature videos to help stimulate the patients’ memories. They also have music, exercise classes, and stations that feature special activities. One of them is “The Fisherman” where they have tackle boxes, rods and reels, they have one for cooking, and for ladies there is a makeup table. They also have an in house salon with nail care, so people can get the toenails and fingernails cleaned, and an in house doctor. I know that they have a dentist that would come in and do regular checkups with the residents.

You will love the Windsor, as soon as you walk through the door. You will be greeted by a smile at the front desk, and they will quickly help you. The sales staff ([Removed]) are very caring and thoughtful, and will help you through the process of choosing an apartment and moving in. The Executive Director is also very friendly, and "hands on" with the residents, you will often find her talking with residents. The community has a positive feel about it, and the residents are friendly, happy and love to talk with you. I highly recommend the Windsor!

We toured this community and it was nice and clean. The staff were so friendly. Mom just didn't like the way the room set up was. The staff answered all of our questions but we just chose another community.

The staff is so kind, The Assistant HCC there is very on top of the care of the Residents. So Glad to have placed my father here. He Loves It Here!

The Regent is a first class facility. Since the day our parents moved in, we have always felt like the staff treated them as their own family. Every staff member goes above and beyond the job description to make sure residents are well cared for. There are lots of activities available for residents to choose from and the overall tone is friendly and welcoming.

My mother has been a resident at The Windsor for over 7 months now. I have been beyond pleased with my experience! The staff is caring, reliable, and very encouraging to all the residents. My mother enjoys the outings and activities a great deal. She also loves the food and doesn't miss cooking! Great job!!!

We have been happy with the care from this community. The staff is very attentive to her needs. We like the menu of the meals that we have had. I like knowing that the community is clean and the environment it good for her. The keep her active with a lot of the great activities. We would recommend this community for other families.
