Legend Senior Living

My Mother has been at Rosewood for two years. We have seen several staff changes during that time which unfortunately is not unusual for this type of business. I want to highlight over the past year the staff has been much more attentive and responsive to mother's care, especially during the pandemic. I have been impressed with the Covid-19 protective protocols implemented. I appreciate the adaptability to modify the protective protocols as events improve. Rosewood has implemented various types of communication and contact between the residents and their families to stay during this unprecedented time. We receive phone calls, emails, and social communication updates routinely. They are responsive and return phone calls quickly. I have to do a shoutout to [name removed] the front desk receptionist. She is friendly and professional. It's great to see [name removed] open the hair salon again. The residents love her. She's more than a stylist, she's a friend and companion to the residents.

We were very impressed with Legend at Capital Ridge during our first phone conversation with [name removed]. As we were vetting the facility, we kept thinking that “this is too good to be true”. Mother is now in week four of her time in her new apartment and she loves it. Legend continues to impress us. Selecting a facility and making the move in the age of Covid is a real challenge. Legend demonstrated strict but appropriate precautions to assure the safety of all residents and staff. Their commitment to safety was comforting. Every interaction with we have had with staff members has been positive. They have all gone the extra mile to help mother get settled and to make her feel like home. I highly recommend Legend At Capital Ridge.

My 99 year old father is in Assisted Living at Legends of Hutchinson. When Legends took over from Brookdale we were concerned about the turnover in staff. However, I can say without hesitation that they have done an incredible job during this pandemic. Not only have they kept their residents safe, they have gone above and beyond to continue to provide the highest possible quality of life for the residents during the most trying of circumstances. As a family member, I have greatly appreciated their responsiveness to my inquiries and concerns, as well as, their transparency and communication with the families through emails, both at the corporate level and local level. My father is also appreciative of the care he's been given and he loves the food. God bless them all.

The care here has saved my mother's life. She entered in a wheelchair and now she sometimes even leaves her walker behind! It is a small community so everyone is known. Even the family members who visit! I believe that this was the only place that could have gotten my mom multiple health needs under control.

Mom moved into the Reflections wing of the Legend a little over a year and a half ago. She settled right in, made friends and got involved with activities. The Legend provided activities for her that were unique and amazing. Mom went to a high school and played croquet!! The care staff watched over her and became as close as family. They became like family to all of us also. COVID has been difficult for all of us, including the staff at the Legend. Yet we continue to received updates on COVID, and what is going on at the Legend. The Legend is the only care facility in Broomfield that has had no COVID and no deaths. Our family takes peace in that. The Legend still has an open door policy for family members to call and discuss whatever their concerns are. That is critical to a place that cares for your loved one! If you are searching for a wonderful place for a family member, you don't need to look any further.

My wife's Parkinson's dementia was advanced by the time she moved into The Gardens at Rivermont. She did not make the move gracefully and violently resisted during the first few days. Now, several months later, she is settled but still occasionally defiant. For example, she may refuse to take her medications. AND YET, no matter how exasperating her behavior may be, Rivermont employees continue to treated her most kindly, gently, while allowing her to retain dignity. They understand that it is an illness that is spitting out the pills and being rude. It is not the person she would choose to be. Of course, that benevolence starts at the top of the organization and works its way down, but where it really counts are those people who interact with my wife, time and time again every day. They are gentle, kind and accepting, without exception. I am happy to know every staff member I've met, because they are all good, nice people following some inner calling to be helpful.

Legend Assisted Living was the best facility we could have had for my Dad for his last 7 months of life. From before we ever moved him in to his last night there, he was treated like royalty. After hearing horror stories from others about such facilities we felt like we hit the jackpot! The director, the receptionist, the health care manager and her staff, the activities director, the dining room staff, the cleaning staff, and the van driver all were top notch and quickly adapted to my Dad's sharp sense of humor as well as to the quiet demeanor of other residents. Whenever Dad or we had a specific need, he asked and it was quickly addressed. This was true up to his last week when we desperately needed support in addressing a hospital/hospice issue. The director and the health care manager dropped their busy schedule and immediately responded by meeting with hospital staff. I can truthfully say we felt Dad was being treated almost like family at Legend.

The staff at Legend is professional, kind, and have taken excellent care of my mother.

Putting my mom into a memory care unit during covid-19 has been one of the most difficult things I've ever done. I am so grateful to the staff at Rivermont who made (and continue to make) the situation so much more bearable. Everyone I've encountered who works there is kind, compassionate, patient and truly cares about the lives of their residents. Even more, the staff understand that they care for the families of residents too. They are communicative, and they make themselves available for any questions we have. I trust them with my mom, and i couldn't imagine her anywhere else.

The staff at the Windsor Of Gainesville is caring and kind and take excellent care of the residents. My father requires the highest level of care that the Windsor offers, and during the year that my father has been living there, I've made many requests regarding his care and well-being (I admit I'm very particular), and the staff have always done their best to assist and do what's best for my father, which I truly appreciate. When Covid hit and the Windsor had to "lock down", I was very glad my dad was at the Windsor because I knew he was in good hands and would be treated well and with love. The facility itself is new and very well maintained; it always looks and smells clean and welcoming.

My mom has been at Legend for 2 years. Their caring spirits gives my family a sense of peace - especially over the last 7 months. They respond to our requests and answer our questions quickly. My mom loves her caregivers and her caregivers love her. I can't recommend them highly enough.

My parents came to Legend's of Hutchinson Kansas when additional assistance was needed for my father. From the their initial night, in their new home, they were welcomed from all staff and residents. As my mother stated "it is like being at home". The communication has been above and beyond and my parents have always been treated with dignity and respect. Recently (and during Covid-19), my father passed. The Leadership team accommodated our family during this difficult time. The staff, along with Serenity Hospice, cared for my father (and mother) with compassion and love. Everyone was attentive to our family needs and provided immense support for our mother. Legend's exemplifies the gold standard of assisted living and they truly are a blessing.

My 93 year old mother was at the Windsor for 19 months. First in assisted living and then in memory care. Her car in both were exemplary. I was still there every day to check on her however I knew she was in good hands if I missed a day or 2. I would recommend this organization.

This is an excellent facility. I was in a nursing home administrator in Illinois. I was active in the professional group and got to visit many other homes (20 years ago). This facility is excellent. It has a schedule which is followed, so we all know what is planned and can select activities. The staff is exceptional. They know all of our names and likes/dislikes as well as family and friends!

I have been a resident for two years. The following remains are made after my period of adjustment. First, the property is well maintained. My apt. and laundry are cleaned weekly, always to my satisfaction. Second, the staff is courtesy and helpful. Help is always available by activating the pennant I wear.

My 96 year old aunt loves her apartment. She always tells me how nice everyone treats her. The pandemic has been difficult on everyone but she continues to remain in good spirits. She loves to tell me about her "bingo" wins!

My mother moved into the Windsor two days before the COVID lock down began. As an Alzheimer's patient that transition was a big challenge, but the Windsor staff was absolutely perfect making her quickly part of the community and social network. I feel very safe about my mom in the Windsor.

I have been impressed with the Legend Senior Living philosophy even before the facility was under construction. They have strong family and business values and have treated my dad and our family with dignity and respect. On the rare occasions when we have had issues, they have been addressed in a timely fashion, with professionalism and empathy. Here's what I love about Windsor of Gainesville, and think you may love it too: 1) It is a lovely, spacious, clean facility 2) The staff is caring and competent, often going "above and beyond" 3) I can sleep at night knowing my dad is well cared for, and he is very happy at Windsor (He lives in the assisted living part. He has been n a skilled nursing facility and a different assisted living facility - this is by far, the best) 4) As I write this, we are still dealing with covid-19. Windsor has done a spectacular job following CDC guidelines, observing isolation and keep the residents engaged. Communications with the families have been frequent and informative. It is without hesitation that I recommend coming to Windsor for a tour and visit. May you have success in finding a wonderful place for you loved on - Windsor may be IT!

The facility is beautiful and very clean. The staff in "Reflections" (memory deficit unit) is exceptional. Very caring and patient centered. In particular, the activities they had all day for the residents were fun and appropriate for abilities. Would recommend without hesitation.

Beautiful, new assisted living/memory care facility in Gainesville, FL. Of the 8 I toured in the area, Windsor beat them all. Outstanding staff- always available for my many questions. I always knew my mom was in loving/caring hands with all her "helpers" at Windsor. It really paid to do the research "homework" when looking for my mom's next "home". I am very grateful to have found such a wonderful home for my mom - thank you Windsor the from bottom of my heart, you are the best!!
