Legacy Retirement Communities

I moved here recently and it's pretty nice. The staff is friendly and I'm comfortable with the care i'm receiving. They offer a lot of activities but I keep to myself most of the time. They could improve the meals by making better tasting food and making sure it's warm once it gets to the residents.

I had a goo tour of the Legacy House of Logan. They gave us a good amount of helpful information and showed us around the entire building. The place was clean and everyone that we came in contact with was very friendly.

I ceased the opportunity to take a quick tour during the weekend. The community was newer, nice looking, and more cleaner. At that time there wasn't an opening available in the Memory Care. I really didn't get to communicate with the staff being that there was not that much staff there. The Memory care was smaller than I expected.

We toured this nice community and were happy with the cleanliness. The staff was nice and we did like that my mom could have done some of the responsibilities on here own. We were informed on the activities that were available to here. I would recommend this community for the care and value to other families.

This looked like a really nice community when we toured it. The people we met were nice. The charges are all inclusive. This is an older community and the only opening they had at the time was with more men than women. We did not feel this would work for mom.

My father felt Legacy House was friendly and the residence seem more engaged and active. Staff was very friendly and seemed very caring to all residence. They provide many activities and opportunities to keep my father active, and busy.

They staff seem super friendly. Would definitely worth looking into.

My mom is happy with the care that she is receiving here however the food could be improved. The staff is very helpful and caring. This community is clean and well taken care of. Alot of activities are offered. I would recommend this to other families seeking great care for the value and service.

I think it is working out and we are happy with the care. The staff are nice and they contact me when necessary. Most of the staff are concerned and professional with their job here. My wife likes the healthy, tasty meals that is made for her and the residents.

My mom is doing really well at Legacy House of Taylorsville. The staff even goes out of their way in the late evening to get my mom ice cream. The community is very clean and her room always smells good. The community offers many activities and my mom is participating every time I go to visit.

My mother is still adjusting with her move into the community, but I do feel it is a good fit for her. The place is very clean and well-kept. The staff is great and very friendly to her, they even know her by name when they see her. The food is good and they give you a variety of choices to chose from. I do feel they are taking very good care of my mother and I would recommend this community.

People are friendly, and the residents seemed happy. Building is clean and they offer extra care for Dementia residents.

As far as the value for the money, I feel like there are a lot of things they should not be doing. My mom and and are both here and I think my mom is doing a lot to take care of him for the money that we are paying. The food here is also not good and could use a lot of improvement, they pay a lot of extra money on groceries every week. The staff members are very friendly and try their best and the activities are also great.

For me, living in Legacy is about as homey as can be in a group. I have found the staff and other residents friendly and helpful. Because of covid the past nine months have been difficult but the directer and staff have done a very good job keeping residents and families safe and informed. The only negative, in my estimation, is the sameness, quality and inconsistant preperation of meals. Meals have improved under the current chef but still have a ways to go to be what we are paying for.

The only dissatisfaction my mother has with Legacy in So Jordan is the food. Vegetables are cooked to mush and food lacks flavor, seasoning. She understands necessity of low sodium as everyone can add salt if their diet allows but food is flavorless and over cooked

The first thing when my mom and I toured this property was the temperature was too cold for her it seemed like the air conditioning was constantly running. We had gone without an appointment and the usual women that run the tours was not there so the executive director did the tour for us and he seemed a little unprepared. We did have lunch there and the food was good in fact on that day the dining staff was under staff so the executive director ended up serving the residents to help out. The appearance of the property was beautiful a little too much so granted it is brand new but it came off looking like a 5-star hotel instead of someplace where seniors resided. I would have liked to have had a homier feel to it

It was a good tour at this community. They seemed to have great quality care with compassionate staff. It was a clean and nice place. I was impressed with the tour and the guide did good. It would have been a suitable choice.

I chose Legacy House of Mesa for my mom because of the people. From the very first time I walked in, everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Even though the community itself isn’t the newest or most modern compared to others I toured, the people made all the difference and that’s ultimately why I trusted them with my mom’s care. Pros: The staff is truly the heart of this community. The caregivers, MedTechs, and front desk team are attentive, compassionate, and incredibly patient. They took wonderful care of my mom during her time there, and I always felt that she was treated with kindness and respect. The transportation driver who takes residents to appointments is also fantastic, professional, friendly, and so helpful. My mom’s studio apartment was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough to meet all her needs. While the building is a bit outdated, the warmth and dedication of the people made up for it. Areas for Improvement: There were some challenges that I think are important to mention. The biggest concern is staffing. It often felt like there simply weren’t enough caregivers available, which led to long wait times when my mom needed assistance after pressing her call button. We learned to be patient, but the delays would have worried me if there had ever been an emergency. The dining experience also declined after the first month and a half. Initially, things were great, but then the quality of the food dropped noticeably, and there didn’t seem to be enough servers to handle the dining room. Meals were sometimes burnt, undercooked, or poorly prepared, which was disappointing. Overall: Legacy House of Mesa has wonderful, caring people who truly show up for their residents. That is the community’s strongest asset. The staff members are exceptional, and they made my mom feel safe and cared for during her three months there. However, improvements in staffing levels, dining quality, and consistent communication, especially during transitions, would make a meaningful difference. Despite the challenges, I am grateful for the team members who cared for my mom with such kindness. They are the reason I chose Legacy House of Mesa, and they are the reason this community still deserves recognition for the heart and dedication of its people.

My wife has passed since my moving in and I have relocated to a one BR independent living unit with south facing porch and overall am happy with my accommodation Happy to give you my assessment
