Legacy Retirement Communities

After never having lived in a facility, its tough to say. I have no real complaints, I like the people and meals. I miss being able to cook but enjoy the food.

The facility is lovely, I have an adjustment from living alone to living in a community. I like it through. I don't attend a lot of activities due to my age.

Beautiful building. The staff was friendly, the rooms I was shown were clean and nice.

I enjoy living here

meals: generally good, kitchen staffing poorly staffing, not well satisfied. Activities, wide variety, very creative, well planned. Communication needs improving. Employees - very interactive in care and residents. Needs some improved training. Director is slow to pay attention to simple requests

Better breakfast options

It would be to the advantage of everyone here if the diet was planned for the population they are serving. Spicy, heavy foods are not ideal and wider variety on breakfast.

This is a very new community. It was more modern and more upscale than what my loved one would have wanted.

I think people who work here try so hard. I've been here over four years. I really like it here. The concierge are fantastic. The team works very hard to help. For me it's been a good experience. We could use more transportation options.

Staffing has been the biggest issue that we have had, but that's everywhere. Food portions are small and they forget to bring my loved one meals occasionally. My loved one had to buzz them just last night again because they forgot.

The best experience has been the physical care received at the community. The staff values my safety and well being. That helps me feel comfortable and taken care of.

This community matched in a positive way everything I was looking for in a community. The staff communication has been very good if the family has questions or concerns about our loved one. My loved one feels the food is fabulous. There are three meals a day served to the residents. Some of the activities include games, sing alongs, music, entertainment, and more for the residents to participate in.

The dining experience needs to improve. If you are not active LDS this is probably not the place for you. We picke dthis community because, It was close to where my sibling lives and seemed well taken care of.

What really stood out to us right away was the cleanliness of the community - we specifically pay attention to that and everyone was in place and there was no fowl smells. The friendliness of the staff also really stood out to us, they are all great. The communication with the upper management could be better though, sometimes their response times are slow. Also the meals could be better, they are pretty bland, there are no condiments and they sometimes give them items they can't even cut with a fork and they do not get knives.

It's an excellent facility but they are often short staffed. I chose this community because of the location, quality of the facility, and it's a really nice place. They don't always have enough food servers, so sometimes the food does not always arrive at table warm, so they are short staffed in the kitchen area.

We had a nice tour experience at Bella Vista. We just felt the facility was too big and there was not much going on when we came to tour. We wanted a place that was more lively so my loved one could socialize.

Sometimes, they are not communicating with the doctor. My loved one thinks the food is okay but has complained about the service of the food. They do offer exercise, bingo, happy hour and movies but my loved one does not participate in activities. It's a great value for the money, which includes brining their food and cleaning. Overall, it's a great place to be and I would recommend to others.
