Legacy Retirement Communities

My loved one was previously a resident at Legacy Village of Salt River. They were not able to accommodate my loved one's behavioral issues. They did try, but the issues continued and we ultimately had to move my loved one to a different place. It was a good place, just not the right fit for my loved one.

I have recommended Legacy House to several people. I plan on moving my wife and myself there when out multi-level home no longer functions for us. That's as good a recommendation as I can give.

Mom's first 3 weeks we tough, but better than expected, until the holidays hit. It set her back. She misses home, her independence. Loves making friends and is actually taking the elevator nearly daily, even by herself. SHE HAS BEEN TERRIFIED OF ELEVATORS for most of her 83 years! She loves not having to worry about meals and preparing them. The staff has all been so friendly and immediately felt so welcoming.

I am very thankful and happy to live at Legacy. It is a very friendly community with friendly and helpful staff who care about us. I really enjoy the activities. The friendliness of staff and residents are top notch.

Cleanliness for Villas is scant, food is below standards as to quality & consistency. Pay too much for the lack of concern.

Inquired about options for mom and dad for the future. Building had positive energy in environment. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Felt very warm and home like. Great options for activities, food and care. We really liked the villas as a starting point for our parents to start scaling back on things and making the first step to senior living.

My mother has lived at Legacy House for almost 3 years. Although she didn't need much assistance when she moved in, it has been good to know that as she has needed more help with things, the help is there. Legacy house has contacted me several times with concerns about her well-being.

The quality of CNA's from Legacy is generally very good, but there are too many CNA's from [vendor removed] that are not qualified and do not have a commitment to the facility or patients. Three times I have waited an hour to get help. 5 times they forgot to close my leg or hight bag. Floor dust ruffle & sheets wet.

It's a clean classy place. Very modern where you will find a good overall quality of life. It is expensive and the food is subpar considering the cost of living. We picked this community, because of the location and cleanliness and modern decor.

My loved one is currently a resident at Legacy Village of Salt River and overall this facility is a 4+!. The staff is good. Their responsiveness to issues is good. The food is good. Housekeeping is once a week and works well for the resident. The move in was stress free and they were very accommodating. My loved one is settling in and feels very safe and well cared for. I would recommend Legacy Village of Salt River to others.

It is okay. The weekend staff you have to keep on them. We picked this community, because it is close to family. I would recommend to others.

The staff at Legacy Village of Castle Pines is caring and attentive to my mom. I would recommend Legacy Village of Castle Pines to a friend.

The community is very clean and people are very friendly; residents and staff. We did have problems with medication in the beginning and was resolved quickly. Thank you to [name removed] and [name removed]. Every morning my wife and I sit in the courtyard and enjoy the beautiful weather along with the well maintained greenery. My wife and I enjoy the activities like the fitness classes and Happy Hours. The dining room is well kept and so elegant that its inviting to come and dine in. My wife and I are overall beyond satisfied.

Legacy Village of Salt River was over the top for what my mom needs. I would live there myself though! The facility was kind of new and they were still in learning mode, but they gave me a great tour. If you put down a deposit though, it takes weeks to get it back!!

I’ve lived at Legacy House for about 2 months, cant complain. I have a nice view of the community courtyard with landscaping that is well kept. I enjoy sitting out there and watching the day go by. Im not a good eater but I do like the food and the servers are always so nice. I go to bingo and I always have a good time, its win some lose some. The care staff have been extremely helpful, I’m still getting to know the all staff but so far everyone has been a delight. I’m satisfied with my residence here and my kids are too because they know I am safe.

When picking up patient after calling she is not ready. On [date removed] for example had slippers on not shoes did not have hearing aids in and was not in a coat. Usually without coat delays picking her up.

We toured Legacy House of Southern Hills and it was a beautiful facility. Everything looked great. However, the residents at this facility seemed less engaged.

Although the support staff is average, one stands out. She shows empathy to those she serves in the dining room. She's always ready with a comforting smile and the willingness to make her customers feel at home.
