Legacy Retirement Communities

Our tour was over the top. We liked the set up here and dad wanted a view and he did get what he wanted. We like that they don't have to use their automobile anymore everything is in walking distance.The only thing we have a complaint about is the food here dad says it's like they take all the leftovers and put them together to make some concoction. It is spotless and clean. The staff is very helpful. They do have daily activities on the screens if they wanted to join. They raved about the Halloween party and made lots of friends. I would recommend this fantastic place.

This community is great and the location is very convenient for me. The staff members are helpful and knowledgeable. The other residents here are also very friendly and welcoming. Like any place you have maybe one or two people that you rather not associate with. From what I experienced thus far I would recommend this community to other families.

I highly recommend the Legacy House of Spanish Fork. The staff is amazing and so concerned about the residents and attentive to every need. The Cottage House for those with memory care needs is an amazing facility and the staff truly care about the residents. It is a home like atmosphere designed to cater to every need of the patient and the family of the patients. It is always clean, organized and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I cannot say enough about how impressed we are with this amazing place for those with dementia.

The memory care staff have been really good. My mother in law interacts well with some of the staff. The head nurse and the sales manager have been real good to work with and they are flexible. She seems to like the food and they are accommodating with her likes and dislikes. The community is very clean and I would recommend it.

My sister-in-law loves Legacy House. She has no complaints about anything. She loves the activities and the great service. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Food is excellent for a facility like this.

This community is quite small, I am not sure how many residents, but it is on the smaller side. It's just a little more blue collar. It's a relaxed facility, and we are very happy with it. Our loved one is just as happy as a lark here.

Room was small with a small window providing some natural light. Kitchenette was nice. Dusting and vacuuming were pathetic. She really liked most of the staff and the activities including sit down exercises were great.

It is a fabulous group of residents. The wellness team is a huge help for those with chronic illnesses, they have in-house Paliative Care as well as Hospice( we are currently using Paliative as my older brother's dealing with cancer & ultimately death. The only 2 negatives I see here are 1. a lack of communication between the administration & the residents. & 2. Potentially some serious misconceptions about what they feed us, & personally most of the daily specials are horrible. Not at all healthy for Seniors, heavy on salt, carbs, sugar and fats. I am not thinking about moving, but will start cooking for myself after my brother dies, unless they fire the new chef & find another.

Very nice facility , a little pricey for the value. The amenities are very nice, the activities are a tad underdeveloped.

Staff is AMAZING!!! Food is supposed to be really good. It's so so and service in the dining room can be SUPER slow! It's REALLY expensive and they charge for EVERYTHING. bring a meal up is $[removed]? They have people in and out of rooms all day long but to run around meals to people who don't want to go down to the dining room is [removed]/per meal? And even then it's smaller portions and usually cold.

Overall experience was good. We had our loved one there for 3 es. 2 week stays and 2 weeks prior to her passing. Receptionist were great, staff was caring and competent, room was nice, very clean. We would recommend it. Our family's experience at Legacy Village was very good and we would recommend it for both respite and assisted living.

Generally the staff are professional and helpful. My parents need some of the highest levels of care that legacy provides and they like the staff and we find they are receiving good care and assistance. My parents were not initially excited to leave their home but now consider Legacy their home. Due to physical challenges they were becoming more and more socially isolated in their previous home but now they have friends and daily opportunities to socialize. They can elect to stay in their unit when they want privacy or meet people in the dining room or for activities or in any of the shared spaces. The care at Legacy is better and more Cost effective than the care givers we hired to come into my parents' home daily. We also saw a dramatic decrease in accidents and hospital visits since they moved into Legacy. Our parents' improved safety, health and well being has made us really appreciative of the staff at Legacy.

They do an excellent job but not perfect. Food is good, very clean, lots of staff and very helpful. I have cameras in my mom's room so I have a good idea of what is going on. My mom is very difficult so I really appreciate the good care they provide.

We get along and are willing to help in any way they can.

We have changed admin. staff twice in the past 14 months, but the majority of the hourly employees are gentle, sweet and helpful people to all of us! The facility is relatively new, just starting its 5th year! We all are proud of it and police trash inside & out, as it's our homes. The rooms go from efficiency to 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom & and 2 bedroom with a sitting room. Assisted living is efficiency or 1 bedroom, with maybe two of the 2 bedrooms rooms. Memory care are singles with a bathroom!

Majority of the staff is amazing! The place is beautiful and has resort-like vibes. Those employees that are day to day involved with residents are the best. The one time the medical button was pushed, no one showed up. The food is lacking; a big complaint among residents. My grandmothers biggest complaint (besides the food) was the stains on the carpet. Overall, the place is clean but the carpet needs replaced in some rooms. Our experience is overall good! While room for improvement, I wouldn't still recommend it. It just seems to me for the amount of money paid, the food could be good.

The Director is actively working to make improvements in the facility and the residents appreciate his efforts. The activity leader is very enthusiastic providing many creative events and activities. My Mother reports the food is very good. The surrounding grounds and landscaping are well maintained. They are very accommodating for family activities with a special meeting room and visitors anytime. Good location in a nice area. Local talent make regular visits providing enjoyable entertainment.
