My mother in law seems to like the food most days. The staff have been helpful and accommodating. They are encouraging her to participate in the many daily activities they offer. They keep the community clean and the grounds are well maintained. This community is close to family and they offer the accommodations she needs. They have buzzer for when the residents need assistance. I would recommend this community.

We liked this community when we visited. The people we met were nice and the community looked clean. This community does charge extra for any additional services needed. This community was just a little out of our price range.

Very attractive, luxurious, clean facility. Rooms were a good size. However, because of this facility being independent living also the some of the amenities, like the restaurant, movie theater, were so far away from the memory unit.

Very nice new facility. We were treated like guest with a snack and coffee plus brownies to go. We have looked at 5 facilities so far and this is our favorite.

My parents moved into Shelburne Bay two weeks ago and everything seems to be going well. Their apartment in independent living is bright, airy and well layed out. They are very comfortable there and love the idea of their own patio and small yard. Everyone they have met has been friendly and helpful. Our family is thrilled to have found Shelburne Bay for our parents!!

So far everything is working out well for my mother at this community. It is a nice place with kind people. I know she is in good hands at this community. I'am pleased with all they have done for our family, and I would recommend this community.

My sister is doing well since her move to this community. So far everything is working out pretty well. We do feel she is safe, and receiving good care. The staff is great. She has adjusted well to this community, and she likes it. I would recommend this community overall, it has worked out well for my family.

Wingate Residences has been a pretty good for my mother. She is still adjusting to all of the changes. The staff has been great. They take very good care of her. The place is maintained well and everything is always clean.

I toured this community and did not like the feeling. The community felt like a hotel and not a home. The marketing director was nice. They had a nice variety of meals from the menu. We would recommend that other families take a tour of the community. We were looking for a comfortable feeling.

We had taken a tour of this community for my mother and it was a pleasant experience for us. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to give us lots of great information about there facility. The residents seemed to be enjoying them selves and involved in activities throughout the building. It just was not the right location for my mother in the end decision.

I toured this community for care for my parents. The menu was appealing. They would have offered my parents activities if they would have moved into this community. The food menu was appealing. They community was nice. We would recommend that other families tour this community for the care of a loved one.

When I first walked into to this place I did not have a good feel about it at all. The people were really nice and very accommodating to us. The residents seemed to like it. I just did not want mom at this community.

Beautiful location and grounds. Very impressed with the interior, the dining room and the individual rooms were stunning. The individual rooms were very nice and spacious and I liked the layout of the facility - not lots of walking down long hallways to elevator. Staff seemed very nice and happy.

I am happy with the care that my father is getting with a great staff. He is happy with the meals and the variety. His room is very comfortable for him in this studio he lives in. He enjoys being able to enjoy the garden and the outdoor environment . We would recommend the care and value to other families.

I was very impressed with my tour of this community. Everything went very well, and we visited this community a couple. This was one of our top picks, it is very nice community. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The staff was knowledgeable and informative. They provide their residents with good care, and that was very important to us. We found a community that was closer to us, but this a nice community.

I really enjoyed my tour of this community. This a nice community with friendly people. The tour guide was very kind and knowledgeable. I was informed of new information I didn't know about regarding Alzheimer's. Everything looked great. You can tell they do a good job with the cleanliness of the place. Overall it was a good experience.

This is a beautiful community and I was impressed. This community cost a little more than we could afford. The people I met were fantastic and the community was clean. I would move in if I could.

The staff is great and my loved one really feels like they are at home. My loved one really enjoys being involved with the activities. The only thing that my loved one does not like is the food. They do not give enough and it can use work on the variety. The community is always clean and neat.

It's been 17 days and so far so good. As a result of Dad's advancing dementia, he had experienced several violent episodes at home. Within the structured assisted living environment of The Residence, there have been no recurrences of such behavior. Another facility nearby wouldn't take him at all, and another facility wanted to place him in a memory unit locked ward. Since Dad has not been a wanderer, assisted living appears to have been the right choice. It's been quite a relief for the family to see him safe, well adjusted and cared for.
