One thing we really liked about this community was the administrator, they were very knowledgeable. The rooms are typical size. The culinary department seemed to be very good, they gave us a box of scones which were phenomenal.

We chose Atria Stafford because of [name removed] the activities director. She knew my father, so we had a personal connection, she was great and she loved my mom. We took my mom down here and she loved playing the piano. The room sizes were on the smaller side. My mother shared a room with another resident. An incident we did have was we do not believe she was getting her medications from the nurses because they were finding them all over her room. Sometimes when we would see her she wasn't well groomed.

We chose Atria because of the location, it was close to our house. The room sizes are very small. The food is alright, but they do have a variety. My favorite part about the community would be that the staff members really try to engage a lot of the residents to participate in activities. I would recommend Atria Stafford.

We chose this community because of the staff. They appeared to be concerned and involved with the residents. They stopped to talk to them, interacted with them, and treated them with dignity and respect. I was looking for a comfortable place for my father to be where he wouldn't be just another job, I wanted staff members to be engaged and they fit that bill very well. The room sizes were very large. I have eaten there and the food was very good. I would recommend this The Residence at Salem Woods.

We chose this community because it was newer and it was also close to where I lived. The room sizes were generous. The food was institutional like. Sometimes I felt like they didn't cater to the age group with their offerings. I would recommend The Residence at Vinnin Square.

We chose this community because it was close to where he used to live, the place looked nice when you walked in, it was clean and decorated nicely. Most importantly it did not feel like a hospital. The staff was very friendly staff. The room sizes were great, the bathroom was a nice size for wheelchair accessibility. The food was delicious when we ate there for Christmas dinner. Some of the activities included were, memory games, light physical activity, musicians who came in to play, movie rooms, arts and crafts. They also took the residents out into the community for movies or lunches. Our favorite part about this community was the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff. Anytime I needed to talk someone, they were always available.

I was very impressed by the actual physical appearance of The Lighthouse Inn facility. Materials used were high end, with a light/bright appeal. However when I took into account the fees at this facility it was clear there was a premium cost to accompany the appeal. Their all inclusive fee, was not quite "all" and I could imagine that any long term stay could become very pricey. If appearance is key to your selection then this facility would suit you/your family member well.

The staff i had most contact with were aids, which were difficult to work with, they were on their phones and not very attentive at all. They were severely understaffed with aids, and a large overturn. No overnight nurse for the resident. But their COVID protocol was outstanding, they were completely on top of it. I would recommend this to a family or friend. The location is beautiful, they have gardens and large areas for the residents to walk around.

We thought they were pretty good. The community was always kept up well. The staff was also very nice. The care was ok, although my mother repeatedly tried to escape and they didn't seem equipped to handle some of her behaviors. The food was awesome at Atria and the activities were very nice, although my mother didn't often participate. The restaurant was very nice and we enjoyed eating there. We did like the place a lot!

When we go there, we see it is always very clean. When we had some issues with my bother-in-law, the staff was right on top of it and wonderful. They were even the ones who brought the concern to our attention and since then have been very on top of it. They have been in constant communication with us regarding the Covid-19 pandemic and not only what they are doing to protect the residents but also how my brother-in-law is doing emotionally. We really appreciate their level of communication regarding this. They have daily schedules of activities normally, and during the community lock down, they have allowed residents to go outside and get fresh air and are also planning to set up meeting spaces for families to safely visit the residents. They are allowing us to FaceTime him when we want.

During my mother's stay at The Residence, the community has mostly been in lock down. From what I have heard, it has been good. Under the circumstances they have been working very hard and have also been transparent with us about what they are doing to keep the residents safe. We get weekly communications regarding what they are doing and they are alerting us whether or not they have had any cases. They have also tested the residents twice to make sure they know exactly who has what and where. They have also shown a lot of compassion towards us and our family. They do try to get my mother out of her room when possible, while keeping her safe at the same time. The director has been very responsive to my questions or concerns and has shown a lot of compassion.

One of the community bathrooms did seem to have a continuous odor. Other than that, the community was good. They had good activities available for the residents. They had outside entertainment come in often and decorated for all the holidays. They genuinely seemed to care for the residents. The food was great and the care giving staff always got the medications right. The staff was friendly aside from a couple of the aides. They were good with communicating about my mom's care for the most part, however we did occasionally have to ask around to get answers to our concerns. They didn't have enough nurses on the night staff. For the memory care my mother needed, it wasn't ideal, but overall The Reserve is a good place. They also did shelter down immediately amid the Covid-19 pandemic. We would definitely recommend this community to someone looking for senior living for their loved one.

I believe they are taking very good care of my mother, however, they do seem rather short staffed. As a result of this, a lot of times when she needs help, she has to wait for quite a long time. We partially solved this problem by getting her a standing chair. Sometimes she also misses the call for breakfast and doesn't have food until 9:30 am and then will get lunch again at 11:30 am. Other than that, they seem to be taking good care of her. We like the fact that they are taking her temperature every day during the Covid-19 pandemic. Most of the care giving staff is also quite friendly, however occasionally, there are ones that are less so. They also offer a variety of activities available for the residents and my mom has said they always have stuff going on. Overall, we are happy she is there. We don't think we could have found a better place for the price. If we had to do it over again, we would still move her in here!

We didn’t tour together, but I went for a visit,. It was lovely and clean but no views for her which she finds to be important. Perhaps she plans on spending a lot of time looking out her window.

Mom liked his place quite a bit. She complained that the residents were “too old” and happy hour looked grim.

[Name removed] was great. Presentation was professional, they had folder with all the information about the facility. Atria a bit more expensive. The place is clean, atmosphere is lively, looks they many activities. They require 2 yrs private pay.

I find services excellent but staff is very busy so I find I need to advocate for needs. I make a point of calling more than once on important matters. staff does take time to talk with me and as they get to know my Aunt and we get to know them things get better and better Nurses are excellent and [Name removed] the recreation director does a lot to address individual needs for which I am very grateful I’m not sure of the activities as we have not accessed a lot but I know they work hard to make individuals feel comfortable and welcome. they work to support interaction. They definately know their clients and make families feel welcomed.

I'm giving an overall 4 because I believe there is always room for improvement. Anyway, [name removed] came and supported me through the whole time trying to get me to move in here. I was procrastinating and my health was paying for it...but she just kept coming. The little snacks and goodies she'd bring me were great! I'm in better health now than I was when I first moved in, I joined the Hearth's Red Hat society chapter (The Red Hearth-throbs) and even modeled in their fashion show! I'd like even more entertainment from outside performers.

This community, given it's size is more like a family cooperative staff. Very good food. An executive director who is responsive to residents needs. House keeping could use some improvement, and staff could benefit from increased staff. All in all I'm happy to be here.
