The Residence at Westport was good. They gave us a wonderful tour. Like all the other places we toured, the rooms were good, and the services were all pretty much the same between the different facilities.

This community looked older and the person giving the tour was not as knowledgeable as we wanted.

The first thing that stood out to our family was how welcoming it was, it has a very homey environment. Our loved one does not always participate in the activities but they do a really good job trying to encourage her to get involved.

They definitely worked with us, and I would recommend them for respite care, espeically because they were flexible. Instead of a minimum of 3-4 weeks for respite, they'll work with you for a week or two if you need it. Every place else had those higher minimums. The staff were great, and I felt comfortable in my interactions with them. I was satisfied with the facility. It was clean, and visually it was very pretty and nice.

The community is a good place. There is nothing wrong. This was our first experience to learn about the cost of care, and what is included. They have a good dining area. Some of the activities available included arts and crafts, gardening, morning exercise class, and walking group, and more available for the residents.

It was a warm and welcoming community of care that I am definitely considering. The person with whom I had the initial contact was out on a family emergency, but I was given information by the executive director and the activity director from memory care. The welcome sign at the entrance with my name on it was a nice touch.

We chose The Residence at Salem Woods because we needed a facility with skilled nursing as well as assisted living, there are only a few facilities that do that. I also had to get him out of rehab fast and they were able to take him quickly. We did a virtual tour and an in person tour and it was a beautiful, smaller facility that is quiet. It is also brand new and I really loved the sales woman I talked to, [name removed]. She was transparent and answered all of my questions thoroughly. The director of the facility, [name removed] is wonderful too and very responsive. I would definitely recommend them to others who are looking.

We toured this community and the tour was good. The staff was very friendly and they answered all our questions. The pricing was higher than other communities in the area.

If you like a smaller community it is good. The community is limited on activities they can do. The communication with the staff is good, and they are quick to respond. The corporate office sends a weekly newsletter out to the families.

We toured this community and it was very nice. The facility is multi-level and that just didn't fit our needs.

The community is very active and tries hard to keep everyone active even during covid. I would like to see more communication from the staff. Based on my experience I would recommend this community to others.

Speaking to our loved one, they are not happy with the food they say it is pretty terrible. however even with the covid restrictions they are still doing small activities as much as they can.

It is a very nice community. The staff is professional and does a good job. It is a smaller community as well. There are a lot of restrictions due to the pandemic. The restrictions are understandable though.

The staff is very friendly, supportive. The activities director is very energetic. They respond quickly to any questions or concerns I have about my loved one. They seem to really care about the residents.

This community has a whole calendar of events from bingo, chair aerobics and a walking club. They also have arts and crafts, sometimes the residents will paint and during the holidays they may make decorations. They also have game and movie nights. The calendar is broken down by cognitive vs physical. The engagement director, she is fantastic. The food is fantastic, and the chef is amazing. Our loved one only eats certain things and the chefs caters to all of her wants. They have a very nice variety to choose from. The care takers who are with my mom day to day are amazing, they are so kind to her.

We like the facility very much, the facility is very clean. My mom made some friends there, and the staff is really nice. They even called and checked on her after we moved out. The coordinated with her dr. and in house therapy very well. We would come back if we needed to.

I would recommend Atria Cherry Hill. The staff is very friendly. I feel my loved one is well taken care of. During COVID, the community is promoting socialization by having residents stand in the hallways. Even prior to COVID they made sure the residents are participating in activities, to help meet people.

The activities guy, [name removed], is outstanding and incredible. [name removed] gets the residents up, active, and involved with the activities. My loved one fought us tooth and nail to not go. Once she got there and got to know other residents she loved it there. She made friends, medical care, trips, and the staff became like family to her and the family. The Manager, [name removed], she gave us great care and information. She was everything. The chefs changed a few times while my loved one was there. My loved one complained at the beginning. However, after a medical treatment they made sure they had a hot plate of food waiting for her to make sure she was taken care of. The community was able to take over all the prescriptions, give my loved one the medicine, the doctor on site was able to assist her and care for her. When my loved one passed away in the community, the residents sent us cards of condolences. The staff was able to give the comfort that our loved one needed and to the family. We were able to work with hospice in this community, and hospice knew who the doctor was for the community.
