My mother has been frustrated with the food. There are not enough green vegetables and the kitchen runs out of certain items on a regular basis.

I would say that it's a good place and my mother is happy there. I wish there were slightly more interesting or stimulating activities. It is more of a bingo crowd, which is not quite her thing. We picked this community because of the affordability and very close to my house.

We chose The Residence at Boylston Place because of the familiar location and nearby for me, the responsible person for my friend; easy walk to lots of stores and restaurants; newly redecorated; seemed upscale compared to others we toured; food we sampled was good; friendly admin( but now four have left) Activities have decreased a lot. This is perhaps due to staff leaving and short-staffing. But I find it unsettling. Also I think there are still vacant apartments.

My mother's biggest complaint is the food, that they run out of food often even basic things like the daily soup, potatoes, or ice cream or soda. the staff are exceptional, especially [name removed], the activities Director, she gives 110%. For the food, just not to constantly run out of things, they should know how many people are there, and some of these things are stable items like soda, certain, salad dressings, things that you would not run out of typically. And as noted above the exceptional staff ii think of the activities director who is always upbeat, planning fun activities with a very positive energy and she is great with the residents

My grandma stays here, and they staff are always very kind to her and myself, as well. They are all very attentive. I think it’s great there’s a lot of people who are bilingual so they can speak to my grandma.

We moved our mother in just a few weeks after the facility opened. They did a wonderful job with the space, and everything is comfortable and well-appointed. The staff is very caring and attentive, and everyone knows mom by name. The food has been consistently good, and the chef, [name removed], takes great pride in offering high-quality, interesting options. My only complaint would be that, as a new facility, they are not consistent with the activity calendar. The daily calendar that the residents receive in the morning doesn’t always match the monthly calendar that we have access to. We have asked if they could post the daily calendar on the website or in the app, so that we can prompt mom to participate in more activities but, so far, have not been given a way to access the daily schedule other than going to The Residence and getting a copy.

It doesn’t really feel like living in a facility, feels more like a hotel. Decent dining, beautiful grounds, very accessible, great staff, and a multitude of activities available every day including several outings a month.

Sometimes the meals are great sometimes not very good. I don't know how to rate value for cost - to me the cost is exorbitant. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families depending on their needs and expectations. Also I've heard that the new head nurse is not nice

The residence at freeman lake is a welcoming place very clean and everyone who works here are awesome and know how to care for my grandma. Whenever I needed something I’d ask for her and they are always there to assist

We chose Suffield by the River because my parents had/ have friends there. That was a big item. It's a very well-run, nice facility. Compared to my in-laws experience in Pittsburgh, I think it's overpriced. But that could just be Connecticut.

Staff at Orchard Grove are very kind and friendly. She could bring her dog. Also the building is beautiful. Very welcoming atmosphere.

My mother really likes it The facility is clean, organized, and the staff genuinely care about the residents. Everything is amazing, but the price is astronomical.

The staff is very attentive for memory care and she seems to really enjoy living there.

The experience had been good since the new company took over last year. At first it was a bit rough. They lost a lot of staff. But they seem to have recovered well under the new director. It's very clean. The menu is appealing. The building is very nice. Patient care seems to be good.

I would say that it's a beautiful place but management changes too quickly.

They have a consistent staff, more then other venues. They staff well most days to accommodate needs. Staff are friendly and warm to residents. I would recommend them, it is expensive, but I have been very happy with his care so far.

I really did some amazing research, going to about nine facilities to find the perfect place for my mom. We are very happy with our decision at the Residence at Basking Ridge. Communication seems to be a problem, but they did just open in October so I have to be patient. Looking at the big picture, mom is cared for & happy and so am I. When we look at each other at the end of the day and both of us are happy with our decision, that means everything. It’s beautiful as are the people there, meaning residents and staff. The facility is absolutely gorgeous. I’m so happy for all the time that I spent looking for the perfect place and this is where we landed, HAPPILY!!!! I think improved communication at the facility will help my level of stress.

It's a smaller community that is welcoming to new residents. The staff is very friendly and loving. The building is only 1 year old so all rooms are updated and bright. They have been thru several chef over the year. They need to offer more vegetables at meals- lately it's just been squash. The food is often served warm or cold. The activities are sporadic during the week and very limited on the weekends.

Anthology of Millis is just over a year old and very clean. The staff were very accommodating for my mom (helping with laundry, making the bed, taking out the trash, and vacuuming weekly). Communication with the family was very helpful through an app that let us know what was going on. The move in process was easy and we did it ourselves. Maintenance was willing to help with hanging pictures. The food was delicious, but they have since changed cooks. We would certainly recommend Anthology of Millis, our neighbor's mom just recently moved there.

Overall we like all the residence facilities but they are somewhat challenged in provided full and stable staffing. The meals and dining service is excellent and the activities are frequent and varied.
