My husband moved to the Residence at Salem Woods in late April when they opened. He is in the "Reflections" community for memory impairment. We could not be happier with the change. He has bloomed in the environment with professionals that understand dementia and tailor their care to the individuals. The management and staff are like a family to us and the environment is lovely. My husband enjoys the activities and I have peace of mind that he is safe and well cared for. The food is delicious and we share a meal on holidays - I could not have had a more wonderful meal at home! I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for independent living, assisted living or memory care.

I am very happy for the care that my mother is receiving here. The staff is very friendly and caring. They offer alot of nice activities that she is enjoying. The food is very appealing. I would highly recommend this for families seeking good care.

A couple of years ago I was living on my own. I had a medical condition that required more care. I realized I couldn't live on my own anymore. I started looking and saw many places. When I came to Pearl St., it impressed me right away. It was beautiful and so clean. The more I saw the more I liked it. I cannot say enough about how much I love it here. The food is great and the staff is so helpful and professional. Colleen knows everything I like. I have things even before I ask. Colleen even adds special things that I really enjoy. I am anemic and she makes sure I have spinach everyday. I truly appreciate everything the staff does for me. It is a relief to know there is a care staff here 24-7. It makes me feel very secure. They are all so great. There is never a dull moment here. If you enjoying doing things, there is always something going on. I love the entertainment here. There are performers 2-3 times a week and they are all so talented. The people here care so much. I am also so glad that Mark is part of the staff. He makes sure the building is well maintained and clean. He is always smiling and has a great sense of humor. The van takes us walking, CVS and on trips. It is helpful to be able to pick up medications, less to worry about. John the van driver is so kind and courteous. He is a great asset to the staff here. I am so happy here. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

I moved my parents here from another facility in Stoneham that was just deplorable. The staff here is so friendly, caring, and always there to answer any questions. Mom and Dad have done wonderful here. There memory care unit is the best I have looked at. The residents even have access to an outdoor courtyard at all times to enjoy the nice weather. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a great place, especially with regards to the memory care unit.

We were not sure how well our mother would take to a new environment with her severe Alzheimer's dementia. We are extremely pleased with how happy she seems, and how well she is taken care of. We would recommend Brookdale East Longmeadow to anyone in need of a placement of their loved ones.

Our experience with The Residence at Watertown Square has been a good one, overall! The staff is friendly and professional, and they're very easy to work with. They were a huge help to us throughout the whole process!

I think the assisted living is great and if you are pretty far along with the memory loss. It's beautiful, and the food was excellent, and the services are good. However if you aren't quite needing full blown memory services, and you are sort of that in between stage for memory, then this might not be the best fit.

Emeritus has been great. I was very impressed with them when I first saw them. The building itself was really beautiful. We liked the location and the price. It has worked out really well. I would rate them pretty highly.

Excellent personal from the kitchen to the management. In laws love it there.

It had looked so impossible to get Lil to move anywhere. "I'm staying right here" Our options and time given to this were running out. Sales and marketing director, Teresa offered to speak with her. She made Lil feel comfortable and then presented the facts. She asked her to "come and live at my house, give it a try". Lil agreed to sign herself in. She has not regretted the decision. She is well taken care of and we are happy, too.

It is brand new it is bright and clean. The individual room and furnishings are very nice. It was a respite stay, very short. The staff was friendly and attentive, and wearing nice uniforms. They had daily activities and outings to movies, bowling. It was nice for residents in memory care. He must have enjoyed the meals because he gained weight. The meals were flavorful and nutritious.

The staff has been very accommodating to my father's needs. They have been proactive in their approach to make my father's stay as safe and enjoyable as possible. I have only positive things to say.

Overall they do a good job here! It's a nice looking facility, although I do feel the decor could use an update, and it is always well kept and clean looking. The staff are friendly, helpful, and easy to work with.A month ago I would have said they could use some work on the food as well, but that has been improving and I've seen a lot more variety on the menu lately. I do think they could use a few more mentally stimulating activities, something a bit more creative and innovative.

This was one of the places we looked at when we were looking for care for Mom. I had to start looking for options on very short notice, and I appreciated that they were able to get me in for a tour so quick. It was a nice looking place, and the administrator was friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little smaller than some others that we looked at, but overall it was a great place. It's not what we ended up choosing, but this was our number two choice.

We really like this community. The staff are amazing, they really make you feel like you are their only customer. They really understand the value and care in showing special interest and care to every member of this community. It is very expensive, but you feel like you are getting a lot of individual attention for what you are paying.

We ended up choosing this community, and it is good so far. They could improve on keeping personal items with that person. My mother-in-law came in with seven pairs of pants and they are all missing now. Apparently there is problems with the laundry, but supposedly they have changed their procedures. She shares a room. They take them out about once a week or so to different places like art museums and shopping centers. Overall we are satisfied.

We selected Traditions for quality of staff and "feel" of the facility. More "homey" than most of the newer ones; less like a hotel and more like a home. Apartments vary in size and configuration and have two burner stoves which are hardly ever used, but often help the new arrivals feel a little more independent. Staff has been very forthcoming about the pluses and minuses of assisted living; very responsive to individual needs.

I needed a place for my sister to stay while I went away for a week. She has short term memory loss and I needed a place where, if she woke up and 3am and decided to go home, it would not be possible. Everyone was very kind and caring and my sister really enjoyed herself. I would definitely use Albion Court again. I was able to take a much needed vacation knowing that my sister was safe and well taken care of.

(Value Not Rated) They seem to have plenty of activities for the residents that wish to participate. What really impressed me about the community is how clean it is and there are no odors. It looks like a nice little residence, more of a home like feeling then an institution. The staff is very accessible which gives us some peace of mind.

I'm going to be honest here communication with the director is lacking. We love the new activities Director she's fantastic but she has to do way too many things. Their transportation is a big issue because if they have known to drive the activities Director has to leave and do the driving. And they spoke about offering another day for medical appointments and they never came through with that. And then the dining hall is just so inconsistent they cannot handle a full occupancy which they pretty much are at we've been told that they have 100% turnover in the kitchen staff which makes it really challenging. At the beginning my mother came in with very serious needs she had broken her arm and ribs and there was several months where getting used to the resident care assistance was really challenging that seems to have improved but my mother also needs much less care. There seems to have been a lot of staff turnover and the residents are left with never an explanation and the rumor mail starts instant instantaneously.
