We chose this The Residence at Freeman Lake because we were in a hot spot and they had availability and we really liked them after our tour. It is a very nice facility and I would recommend to others looking.

My mother just passed after residing in Assisted Living at The Residence. Throughout her time there, she (and I) were impressed with the experience: the facility is spotless, the food is good, and there are lots of activities enjoyed by many. Most important to us was the spirit of the place. The staff is upbeat and fun, well trained, and they work hard. They clearly enjoy the residents, and are good to them and to each other. The management cares and is accountable --- they will engage with family and work to solve problems. We were so pleased with my mother's time at The Residence.

The community did a great virtual tour and they answered all my questions and we just kept coming to The residence. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

So far it's been a good experience. It's clean. The people are nice and very helpful. They seem to offer a lot of activities, although my loved one hasn't participated in them.

I would tell others that it is a good place to go. The staff are great with the residents. The communication with the staff towards the family is excellent. They keep you updated on your loved one. My loved one is enjoying the food offered.

The community is home and a comfy place. They have nice outside seating and a big patio. They have nice walking trails and the staff is very nice and helpful I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

The marketing director does a fantastic job, and the staff is very friendly. The community is kept very clean and they have lots of activities for the residence to participate in. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

Out of all of the places we visited, I really liked The Residence at Cedar Dell. I was impressed with the staff, the dining area, the rooms. Even the rooms in the memory care unit were very nice. I liked that they provided you with a twin bed and a bureau, and each room had its own AC unit and bathroom. There weren’t any shared units - they were all individual. Each room had its own little mini fridge, microwave, and a sink, which I liked. They were good sized rooms as well. The bathrooms were built with special features for people with memory issues - for instance, a different type of toilet seat designed so it doesn’t look like a big hole to them. They had a nice courtyard area that was secured, so memory care residents could sit outside but wouldn't be able to wander. It just seemed like a very nice place. When we were there, everyone was eating lunch and playing games. Everybody I ran into that day was great. The public bathrooms were clean. They had reasonable rates for what was included, and reasonable deposits. We had selected them to take care of our loved one, and the only reason it didn't work out was because of a particular medication assistance they weren't able to provide.

They were cooperative, but I think they were understaffed. I know they were also struggling with low occupancy. But the care they provided and the people there were excellent. The food looked very good and well prepared. My loved one seemed to enjoy it. They made an effort to offer activities. The rooms were kept tidy, and the floors were always clean. I have no complaints whatsoever about how tidy it was.

We toured this community and it was very nice. The staff was very friendly, informative, and they answered all our questions. The also followed up several times to make sure we were doing good.

I liked their community. The residents were more active here. If it hadn't been the distance we would have put my loved one here.

We chose The Residence at Valley Farm because it just fit the needs of our loved one. The apartment sizes are really big. The food is really good, you get a menu with options to choose from and they are chef prepared meals. It is a very well run facility, administrative staff is great. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

I think that you can rest assured your loved one is being taken care of very well, which was very important to me. We searched a lot of places before we finally decided on here. When we arrived for our tour, the staff were right there, and we didn't have to wait. Even though we were early, they took us right in. They answered all of our questions. I've met a few of the staff so far since then. From the manager to the aides, they've been very friendly and helpful. I can't say enough about them. They're very good. Anytime my loved one has needed help, they've been there for him. There was a change in management, and I kept asking my loved one how things were going. I expected there to be cause for concern, but if anything, it's been even better than before. They've offered more activities and things to do.

I would tell others that they think of things that people might like to do, for instance they are putting a garden in back for residents can garden which I thought was thoughtful. The staff members here are great, they would come in and check on my mom all the time even when I was there with her and were always friendly in the halls. My mom was very happy with all the staff here. I would recommend them to others looking.

We chose The Reserve at East Longmeadow because of the nice size of the rooms, my mom has a corner room with 4 large windows, the reputation of the facility, and the friendliness of the staff members. It is also close to our home. They do have zoom calls, emails, and texts to keep families updated. When she first moved in they had an outstanding chef, but during lock down the food was delivered and the chef left so the food is not as good as when he was there. The cafeteria is now open again and they have a standard menu and specials every night. I would absolutely recommend.

This was our first choice, but we couldn't afford the price.

Our family member could not have found a better place to call home than the Residence at Pearl Street. [name removed], Sales Marketing Director, was extremely helpful right from the start. She was instrumental in assisting us at a stressful time when our family was trying to find an assisted living residence for our loved one. [name removed] greatly impressed us and helped get things in place in a good time frame. She was terrific and we are very thankful to her. We are so happy with the kindness and care our loved one receives at the Residence at Pearl Street. All the staff make her feel safe and secure and truly cared for. Our loved one is happy there and all of this gives our family great comfort. There are so many wonderful and engaging activities and she has made many friends. The Residence is bright and cheerful with lovely activity and dining room areas. The dining services and meals are wonderful, so there are absolutely no complaints from our family member in that area either.

During the time our loved one was there, it was a great experience. The community was beautiful and the cleanliness was great. The food was almost gourmet style, and sometimes our loved one just likes more simple food. Due to Covid the activities were very limited, but there was still plenty of things for the residents to do. Our loved one had an apartment and was cared for every day.

In the beginning our loved one was in the assisted living and that experience would be about a three out of five, and now our loved one is in memory care and that experience so far is a five out of five. Despite our limited experience because of the restrictions our loved one is adjusting very nicely into the memory care.
