Tapestry Lakeshore has been a God send for my family. They have gone above and beyond to make sure my Mom is comfortable & happy. The Director of Sales and Marketing, [name removed], is phenomenal.

While this facility was not a good fit for my mom, it had some desirable amenities. I loved that the senior center was conveniently located within the building. Residents seemed content to be there, and there were other gathering places in the common areas which were nice. However, the building and the apartments we saw had more wear and tear than others we toured. I didn't like the bathroom's location directly next to the kitchenette in the apartment; also, there was only a tiny dorm-style fridge as opposed to a full-size fridge. The entry doors were heavy, which would be a problem for my mom, who is tiny. I also prefer more natural light in the building. The sales associate was friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Although this was not a good fit for us, it is worth a visit.

Professional, compassionate staff. Well planned and inviting. Rooms okay (layout). Good location generally. Near main highway and interstate but not too close pleasant outside gated yard behind property.

The faculty and staff have been very friendly and helpful. They have been a bit slow to respond to certain requests however due to staffing shortages. Room sizes are fine and amenities offered are positive feature better than some others we toured. Physical therapy room is bit limited though

Mom likes the food The studio is a nice size and impressed it came with a full size fridge and microwave. Follow up response back from staff not so much.

All good. Minor problems with med disbursement. And end of life care hospice nurses some were new and it showed. I would recommend it to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

The Staff was amazing, my dad visited my mom everyday and the kindness of the staff eased his suffering. My mom did not choose to join in activities, but I noticed many different notices when I visited. Food was good, my mom never complained. Although she preferred to eat in her room, the dining room was spacious, clean and a very social environment, it was nice!

It is a nice place and the services are good. I would recommend this place to others who are looking for a place for their loved one.

The residents are alert and actively engaged in group activities and fellowship. Staff are polite, respectful and approachable.

Food is/was excellent. Not enough and varied activities; staff was just fine.

The facility is great. Open and bright and welcoming. Her little apartment is perfect size for her. The staff is friendly. They greet her by name, and they are attentive. We have more pros than cons. Plus, she has one of her cats with her. He's the star of the floor.

Staff at Tapestry Senior Living is helpful and responsive. Facility is very nice. My Dad is very happy there.

The staff is responsive but not always proactive. Maintenance is not good- carpet is dirty. Water in public restrooms leaking and faucet is loose. Compared to the others I have seen they are better than the rest

Great place for your loved ones it’s a hard decision to make but makes it easier when a place is nice and professional. It makes your decision better when you trust the place you move your loved ones into

My only concern is the other residents seemed more worst off than my mother. They seemed to walk in and out in her apartment. She doesn’t seemed to be that active. Happy hour is great for her to mingle with the other residents.

In keeping with healthcare in general, we have found staffing to be a challenge at times especially on weekends and holidays. The resident likes the food and the ability to eat meals when he likes works well. They have a lot of activities which is a plus.

Value is a tough one. Tapestry is costly but it is nice. As you know, the level of care determines the monthly cost. My mother likes it very much. The food choices and quality could be better, she tells me. The facility is bright & airy. The activities are many. The staff is very kind, willing to help.

Overall my experience with Tapestry was positive. During my mother's stay was well taken care of. I wanted to take the opportunity to recognize 3 exceptional people that I interfaced with while my mother stayed at this community. [name removed] Executive Director, [name removed], Resident Services Director, and [name removed], Business Office Director. All three of these people were knowledgeable, friendly, sympathetic, empathetic, and timely will all their communications and responses to my particular needs. In addition, the staff from aides to med techs did a wonderful job of taking care of my mother with genuine and sincere caring. Thank you for all you did for my mother, me, and my family.

So far, our experience with Tapestry Senior Living Moon Township has been very good. My loved one has one of her cats with her. They are like every other senior living facility, in that they are understaffed. We ended up hiring our own caregiver for 3 days a week. The place is comfortable for her, she has things to do, she likes the food, etc. We really haven't had any problems. What makes it nicer is the place is so open and bright.

As far as activities, Tapestry needs to respond better to those with special needs, such as hard of hearing (which is common in the Senior Living Community). For instance, Bingo is held without a bingo board (to display numbers called for those hard of hearing). The rent is rather high but the facility & care givers & staff are top notch. Dining is a bit bland & uninventive. Not a lot to choose from for those who don't eat red meat or chicken. This needs improvement. Many fun activities & usually scheduled daily. My mom really likes it there. I wish she'd participate in activities more often but that's no fault of the facility. She does not eat much red meat & no chicken so meals are sometimes unattractive to her. She can't eat perogie or pizza every day without tiring of it!
