My Mom has been at Sterling Commons for almost 3 years. The facility is very clean and accommodating. By far the nicest facility in the high desert. The staff is always very helpful and understanding of her situation. Alzheimers is a complex condition with many different situations. The staff is flexible to her's and the other residents needs. We are grateful to Sterling Commons for giving us the comfort of knowing Mom is secure and safe so that we can do some traveling and enjoy our retirement. My family and I are quite pleased with the care my dad receives at the Gardens. It is a the atmosphere is calm, it is a beautiful facility and smells clean. More importantly all of the staff there, know each of the residents as individuals. The residents there are always cared for with dignity and respect and as much personal touch as possible. I understand that there can be some guilt issues for people when it is time to place family members but I know I made the best choice for my dad. I am there several times a week and like what I see. I have enjoyed my visits and all of the residents as well as the staff who always make me feel welcome. I have NEVER had a communication issue at the facility. In fact, they assist us regularly in communication issues with health care providers.

Canterbury gardens is full of very kind staff..they have truly improved my aunt's quality of life! As well as been a huge help while we were selling her home. I would like to say thank you to Nic, Gretchen and the caregivers for all of their support and patience with our family through out this whole process. We are so thankful she is there.

The Canterbury Gardens was so good to educate and support me through a tremendously difficult time when I learned my mother had dementia. The Alzheimer Support Group was key to my survival!! Though the guilt is hard to swallow in placing my mother in an assisted living facility, I knew I wasn't able to do it alone. The Canterbury Gardens team was able to give her love, dignity, respect and compassionate care. The staff was educated on how to approach someone who has behaviors. I have no regrets knowing that I had made the right decision even though it was an emotional one!

I cannot recommend Sterling Commons high enough. The facillity, caregivers, staff and administration all treated our family with love and respect. I only wish we had moved my Mother to this home years earlier.

All of the people that work at Canterbury are very caring and are always there for you about any concern you might have about your love one, I have always said the people that work at Canterbury are my Fathers Angles, they watch over him, care for him, keep him safe, my Father and my self are very Blessed. Best Memory Care you will ever find.

My father has been living at Canterbury Gardens for six months and I could not be happier with his care. I love the home - like environment and the social interaction he has, the cheerful and friendly staff, and how clean everything is. When medical issues have occurred the nurses have been right on it and contacted both his family and his physician. I also appreciate how we, his family, are encouraged to participate in both his plan of care and the activities at the facility. I have visited at all hours and have, without exception, been greeted by cheerful, competent staff. My father receives the best care in the most pleasant environment possible. I am grateful to all the staff for providing such a place during a very difficult time in my family's life.

It was unbelievable that we found a place that my family and I felt so good about moving my dad in to. The warm atmosphere and endless social rooms and activities were fabulous but nothing compared to the pleasant helpful staff. Kudos to Kris who made every move in stumbling block a small pebble. We couldn't have done it without her help in finding funds through the VA. Thanks to all the loving, kind staff.

We moved my father from another facility in Longview because he suffered from dementia and they were not able to keep him The Gardens was our first choice but they had no beds so we placed him else where. When a bed opened we moved him and what a change it was. He went from a four person room to a two person room and had room to have a tv and chair in his room. He was able to roam around the home and was kept safe. From administration all the way down to the lowest worker and experienced nothing but loving care for my father. All the people that worked there were careful to see that my dads needs were met and they did it with a smile on their faces. The nurses were very professional and really kept up with all the meds my dad needed from ordering to administrating them. I never experienced seeing care people going about their business with love and caring for the person they were taking care of before. They truly liked what they were doing and it showed in the care that my father received. I would recommend this home to anyone that is in need of a caring place to take care of your loved ones. Everyone was great!!!

My Great Aunt is a resident at Canterbury Gardens facility. My Family is thrilled with the level of loving care our aunt receives and the generosity of this facility. Not only does this facility have great activities for its residents making their lives much more enjoyable, but the staff at the Canterbury Gardens has also worked with our family allowing us to partially pay for her care while we were waiting to sell her home. Our family highly recommends this facility!

My father has been a resident at Sterling Inn one year this month and he is very happy and feels secure in his golden years. When making this decision for him, due to dementia we as a family wanted him to always feel comfortable and cared for as a senior. The staff is excellent, Always showing their respect, kindness, and love everyday. There activities are always well planned and my father really enjoys his days with activities and socializing. As, a family we are very pleased with the cleanliness of the facility and pride that is taken by the Management. The meals prepared are excellent as well and on Holidays the time and effort put in for everyone and families are wonderful!! We are very happy and pleased with Sterling Inn and all of the staff. We recommend to others who are looking for an excellent home for their loved one.

Property is very well maintained inside and out--the attention to detail in creating a warm, hospitable and respectful environment for seniors is evident in every aspect of amenity and service. Long standing reputation with private ownership is visible in the operations and sets this community apart. High end, high quality, high standards yet affordable services you would find in a buy-in community. Highly recommend!

Top notch Assisted Living care in the High Desert. My mom, who has early onset dementia, has been at the Sterling Inn for 18 months. We are so pleased with the personalized service she receives. She is so happy there. We know we can always count on the staff with any situation.

Sterling Commons is my Grandfather's home! It is a beautiful and clean community with all the personal details. He feels comfortable there and most importantly, I know that he is safe. He also takes his prescribed medication and stays active. He especially loves all the activities! When you add up all that Sterling Commons provides on a daily basis, the monthly rate is worth every dollar. Shouldn't your final years be spent on truly living life and doing it worry free with helping hands that provide tender loving care as a family member would? Before Sterling Commons, I was taking care of my Grandfather the best I could. I wanted to fulfill his wishes of dying in his home and not in a hospital bed or convalescent home as his own mother did. You can be rest assured that Sterling Commons is not a sterile, cold facility where you are overlooked. It is truly a warm and inviting home with activities and companions that are of Grandpa's age. He's happy and so am I. Thank you Sterling Commons for your support!

We used Park Wood for a short respite stay. They seem to have taken good care of my loved one, I don't really have any complaints. The only issue that came up was that I had put some clothes away, and they hadn't checked in the drawers, and she was wearing different socks. They were friendly, and the other residents all seemed pretty happy. They were very accommodating. I would recommend them to other people, and I would use them again. When I asked her, she said that she would go back again as well.

When my family and my wife's family looked for a facility for my wife, the first place we visited was Arbor Hills. We all agreed we needed to look no further as we were all so impressed with what we saw, we knew our search was complete. As we approach a year of residency, our decision has proven to be correct. I visit my wife almost daily, and I continue to be very impressed with the employees care and attention to all of the residents. The needs vary greatly, but the staff always does their best to give wonderful care. If I were to offer a rating, Arbor Hills would be at the very top, and I am so thankful.

Very impressed with this facility. 24 hr nursing, ability to transport for dr. appontments. Will definately have this facility for a follow up.

The people are great. The director is really on top of things. They are wonderful. There are no concerns what so ever. I would totally recommend them. It's only about a year and a half old, and the people are phenomenal.

I am very pleased with them. It's clean, and the staff is friendly. I haven't had any complaints about food at all so far. The price is exactly what they said it would be when we signed on, there haven't been any extra charges or hidden fees. We are very pleased.
