Do not send anyone to them in 3 months my mother ended up in the ER more times than I can count. The first week she was there 3 times and many more. The hospice nurse said she was being over medicated. They lost over half her clothes and linens. She didn't even have a call button in her room. She lost 30 pounds in three months. I took her out of there and put her in an in home heath facility where she is thriving. When she was at the Landing I would go see her at least three times a week and my sister 1 to 2 times a week. What could have happened to my mother if we hadn't been going that often. So please do not recommend them to anyone!

The community itself is very beautiful, inside and out and also on their social media pages but it's all for show. In the beginning for move in, you are promised a ton of great amenities but once moved in, that goes out the window. The staff has a high turnover rate I hear because they are underpaid yet unlicensed. Apparently you do NOT have to be certified to work here, not for caregiving and not for medication pass. Very dangerous. They dropped my mother on floor in plain sight of our camera and fractured her foot in two places. No consequences were done to that employee, she still works there day by day. Did I mention how some employees are literally living in the building? I've seen two employees moving their personal belongings in the building. Craziness, and they are still understaffed. The extended care department is the worse when it comes to care and the assisted living department is not so assisting. During tours, the memory care department wreaked of urine and feces.

We lived at Town Village for about 18 months and it was a horrific experience from day one. It started with appliances in the apartment not working and taking two weeks for repairs. Laundry room dryer on our floor only worked two months out of our entire stay. The kitchen was continuously understaffed which resulted in meals that were served cold, hours late and consistently ran out of food every week. Transportation was a van that was regularly inoperable and staff turnover was so high. We had pipes burst resulting in multiple apartments flooding with no resolution for three weeks and no backup plan. There was mold growing as a result of the flooding as well. Ii cannot in good faith recommend Town Village in any capacity. When they want you to move there, they are your best friend and once you get to here they don’t remember you at all. Please beware

I would tell others looking into the Landing at Stone Oak to make sure you visit frequently. Make sure you reserve 3K additional funds to pay for somebody to care for them because these facilities are short staffed, don't answer the resident in a timely fashion, and the disabled sit in their soiled diapers for hours.

I paid over $[removed] and my mother was barely there for two weeks. This is a beautiful place, but that is deceiving. For example, my mother had mobility issues and was there for help. During the night, she fell out of her chair, was on the ground for hours, and was found in the morning. I had her moved to a higher level of care for more assistance but things didn't improve. The staff wouldn't help her with any of her items to get them to the new room upstairs. She is in a wheelchair! While in a "higher care" level, she was taken to the ER for severe dehydration. She had nausea, was throwing up and when I went to visit, I noticed her bathroom was dirty from her condition. They knew she was suffering because she was unable to go to the bathroom by herself. I promptly moved her out and now she's in a much safer place. I requested a partial refund of the $[removed]+ to include at least a refund of the $[removed]"community fee" and they flatly refused. They will gladly take your money

This community is a let down, but residents are very nice. A lot of the information written in their advertising materials is misleading. Building halls smell like fecal matter, some of the staff is nice but that’s not enough to make up for the disappointment in the overall experience. The rent is high for what you get.The food is beyond tasteless, and terribly overpriced. Plus, they list the meal at a special price. One that actually seems reasonable since the food is like a bad Elementery school cafeteria type experience , but that is just for the meat portion. It is a trick it appears to be a special meal price but then you find out that each item is charged separately.over $20.a plate but is listed at $8.a plate [name removed]the manager knows and has been told by residents & staff that this is deceiving but he leaves it like this to continue to deceive new potential residents. In addition, the events offered are found wanting, day excursions are now canceled because the shuttle is broken.

The Landings at Watermere – Frisco was a great place for Dad for about a year and a half. After multiple changes in Executive Directors, the consistent turn-over of caregivers, it became clear to our family that our father was not receiving the care he signed up for. COVID-19 did not help matters, thankfully we installed a camera in the room to oversee his care. Unfortunately, we witnessed a drastic drop in the level of care he received. We witnessed a clear mistreatment of our father by two caregivers. Management only “reprimanded” them and allegedly reported the incident to Texas Health and Human Service so they could investigate the matter. We have yet to be interviewed by anybody. Unfortunately, those two caregivers are still employed. Within three weeks of the incident, we moved our father out of Watermere and into a facility that will give him the care he needs and deserves. Until Watermere stabilizes their management and personnel, truly implements a new philosophy, and holds their caregivers accountable for their work, I would not recommend placing your loved ones at Watermere.

If you are looking for a place for mom or dad forget this place.Mom was there for 2yrs and they went thru 5 different chefs.Meals are terrible.Understaffed,Waiter turnover great because they pay peanuts to their employees.Cleaning people were one of very few high polnts.Have security gates that have been broken for 2yrs,leaving facility totally open for anyone at any time to access premise.Very unsecured.Have so many empty apts because their prices are so high.take a drive around complex to check out as gates are never shut.Make sure to catch a look for the rat traps,Especially around the n side by the cooking facilities .This place is a dump.Don’t be fooled by their online pics Fountain has never worked.Shp around. You can definitely find a better place for your loved one.

I was very excited when we moved my mom in 1.5 years ago -- it was very new, clean, bright, upbeat. My mom had some complaints, but nothing out of the ordinary, food, etc. Then we moved my mom to Memory Care in February, then Covid hit and then everything changed. My mom passed on [date removed] I was finally allowed to see her on the [date removed] when "death was eminent." What I found was very disturbing. I had 24/7 care for her, but that was for her comfort, not to do the job we were paying the staff to do. I walked in and the air conditioning unit had broken at some point, it was fixed but there was a large rust stain running down the wall. There was blood on the walls and floorboards probably from where my mom fell the week before, along with other substances which I can only guess were bodily secretions.. My mom had multiple falls after fracturing her pelvis, and I bet that she was trying to get up and clean. After not seeing my mom for over 3 months, having to sit with her while she went to be with the Lord, looking at the disturbingly unsanitary conditions just made me even more sad for her -- we spent a lot of money here -- and I know that Covid was hard on all of us, but still, these are our loved ones and needed to be treated as such.

I had a bad experience there If a friend were to ask me, I would tell they to look elsewhere for care. I don't think they take as good of care as they should have especially for what they charge. In two months my husband fell times times. The third time sent him to the hospital and i didn't back him back there. The caregivers were okay but not very attentive. It wasn't very clean in his room.

When we entered the lobby the receptionist was helping a gentleman resident. We stood patiently waiting, and at our turn, a staffmember came up to the desk and grabbed a stack of empty lunch order forms. The receptionist answered a phone call, but yelled at the staffmember "Hey Ma'am" that is the last of my pile. The staffmember ignorded her, and she shouted "Excuse me" across the lobby and asked for them back. Then she proceeded to talk on the phone to obtain a residents lunch order. Only then did she dain to look at us and ask how she can help us, and then took another phone lunch order. When we produced the name of our contact she informed us that the person was not at the facility at that time. Whereupon she called the person who said a few choice words loud enough for us all to hear over the phone and we were informed that she was on her way. After sitting in the lobby for ~30minutes the receptionist offered us the packet we needed to look at. After looking through it we realized that they didn't have 2 bdr in Assisted living, and my mother was very unhappy about the service so far. We hung in there until we had waited 50 minutes at which time we decided we would contact other places since Mom and Dad would have to live seperately anyways. We informed the receptionist that we were leaving and she said nothing. So after 52 minutes of waiting, we never heard from our contact, however, I have received an e-mail, but have yet to reply. My mother recalled that when she used to deliver Communion for some of the Catholic Residents, she remembered that the residents didn't care for the place and they were locked into contracts.

I’ll use the term “management” in reference to the onsite Executive Director and Nursing Director at Isle of Watercrest, Mansfield since they are responsible for the facility. We moved my mother to Isle at Watercrest, Mansfield about two years ago and the onsite management team was good at the time. The original Nursing Director left about 8 months after my mother moved in, and her replacement was a big disappointment. The Executive Director also left shortly after. There was not an onsite Executive Director at the facility for a long time, and it showed. They recently promoted the disappointing Nursing Director to Executive Director. I live out of state and when I visited for Christmas in 2018 my mother was noticeably weaker and less mobile. It was clear she was only eating a few bites and barely drinking anything at each meal. She did not have an appetite at all and nobody at Watercrest had a clue. Subsequent lab tests confirmed she was malnourished. She never had any lab issues prior to this. We couldn’t depend on Watercrest to carry out simple instructions without something falling through the cracks on a regular basis. Watercrest management never noticed until the family reported the issue. I decided to escalate the ongoing issues to their executive management in Southlake, TX. I escalated to their Director of Operations, and her response was “We have not been deficient in providing care to your mother. She has not voiced any complaints of discern.” My mother is 92, has memory loss, I’m the responsible party of record and their stance is – if the resident isn’t complaining there isn’t a problem? That answer didn’t work for me. I kept asking for feedback and then was abruptly given a 30-day Notice of Discharge for my mother. I hired an attorney and Watercrest rescinded the discharge. Before issuing the discharge, their long overdue assessment confirmed she would continue under the same care level she had been under since moving in. If her care level hasn’t changed for two years, then why is Watercrest suddenly unable to care for my mother any longer? Made no sense whatsoever. Integrated Senior Living, an Integrated Real Estate Group company, runs the operation at Isle of Watercrest, Mansfield. Integrated Real Estate Group is a group of real estate developers. I tried contacting other executives in Southlake and was completely ignored. [removed] I pleaded with Watercrest over and over again to help my mother walk with her walker to maintain her strength and mobility. Watercrest wouldn’t even spend 15 minutes twice a week to help my mother walk. Instead, she sat in her apartment day after day, week after week. A Watercrest employee started hanging out in my mother’s apartment to goof off while my mother was in her apartment. The employee would come in to watch TV for up to an hour, talk on the phone, etc. She didn’t say a word to my mother and just made herself at home. I heard employees also hang out in resident apartments when their gone. Can’t confirm or deny, but would not be surprised. Management will shun responsibility for their mistakes to the point of contradicting other employees whose answers actually make sense. Watercrest is supposed to assess residents and their care levels every 6 months, which is a long interval to begin with. Watercrest didn’t assess my mother for 12 months and didn’t even realize it until the issues were brought up in December. I asked Watercrest to make sure my mother’s prescriptions were filled two different times before we moved. On move day, two prescriptions were missing from the bag Watercrest provided – nitroglycerin for her heart and a pain medication. After contacting my mother’s doctor, it was confirmed that Watercrest called in a rush refill an hour or so earlier (on move day). Watercrest refused to provide any explanation as to why they let my mother completely run out of meds.

My father was at this facility for 8 months. I was not involved with creating the care plan and did not see it until the last month he was a resident. My father had a small stroke and became unable to walk at all but no one changed the care plan. Before he moved in I told them he must have his food cut up and the doctor from rehab said he needed a mechanical diet. They did not cut up his food or provide the prescribed diet. He had major choking incidents because of this. My father was in a wheelchair and was at a high risk of falling. I requested, before he moved in, that he be returned to his room after meals and helped into bed or a chair. They refused and he fell 8 times. They said he could get to his room on his own, which he could, but the doors are kept locked and could not get into his room. He hurt his food kicking the door trying to get in. When I would visit he would be wandering the halls looking for someone to let him in and he would cry when he would see me. He thanked me for rescuing him. They showed no concern for my father's safety and welfare and put his life at risk. They totally ignored me and my request for providing the proper care. Most of the time when I visited, the staff was standing around the front desk talking instead of walking the halls to see who needed help. I would not recommend this facility.

I did not get a chance to live here, but did leave a deposit. Getting a call back is next to impossible, I am big on customer service; therefore I got my deposit back. Now, if you need to talk to someone, go on the Facebook page and leave a bad review. I am hearing residents say that they can't get calls returned (this is hear say, so I don't really know about that.) The facility however is awesome

Disappointing to say the least. This place just opened up. We moved in a loved one here and notice from the get go that there were many issues including the standard of care, lack of stimulation and many unhappy people. We thought we would give this place some time since they were brand new but it does not look like things will get better. Management is rude and not compassionate. The only good thing here is that I've met a few good staff members but due to high turnover, i am not sure how long everyone will last.

My mother has lived at Raider Ranch for two years and has had her internet cut off twice. It has taken us multiple phone calls to get the director to fix the issue. At the first of this year my mother had her jewelry [Removed] from her room. Raider Ranch has no security cameras in the hallways so there was no way to see who had gone into her apartment unauthorized. The director said he would talk to the staff about the problem put never did. VERY DISAPPOINTED about security and the staff's concern for the residents.

We heard good things. We did not have a good outcome. The staff ratio is not adequate enough to provide the care needed. The aides need to be more attentive to the residents needs especially when it comes to hygiene and incontinence. One of the reasons we decided on The Landing is because there was always a nurse on staff in person 24 hours per day,not just on call, to attend to medical needs. However, the medical needs were not attended to in a timely manner.
