The facility is nice but I think opened prematurely. Mother was the 1st tenant to move into a villa. It was not cleaned properly. Office staff is friendly but seem very unorganized. Hopefully in time things will be better. Security gate is NOT yet activated & she has lived there a month. Her security is a concern. We were told a Security Guard is on duty 24/7 & did see one driving around in a golf cart during the day. The grounds are maintained nicely.

The property is simply beautiful, however I do not get a warm and fuzzy feeling from the staff. The young man who gave me the tour was wonderful and returned calls. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the rest of the staff, activity director included. You get the feeling they do not want to be bothered. I am sure it is a great place to live.

When I toured the facility, I was told my electricity would be paid - then four years later, they started charging for electricity for everyone. Members that were told at time they moved in they should have been grandfathered - just let new residents pay electricity and be told about adding electricity to the bill. Transportation was promised people when they move in - with over 300 people in complex -2 buses does not meet the demands for people going to doctors, shopping and events in town with 2 buses carrying 12 people each time - wait period is too long waiting on bus for them to be picked up and have people on time for appointments.

We didn’t have the best experience with Raider Ranch. My mother has a bit of dementia and we needed to move her. The nurses were great. We had some issues with the management. They forgot her medicine a couple of times as well.

This place seemed overrated and overpriced. They were a nice enough place but they charged for every little thing, and it did not seem like you were getting much extra for the much higher price. It was also too big to be an option for my loved one, there's just too much space between everything.

They were an ok community while we were here. When we were here there was only one manager and we could never seem to find him. There always seemed to be issues during meal times with people not getting the right meal and where they were sitting. Transportation that they provided was also an issue. The community was really clean and very well maintained but nothing that made you want to stay.

hate the idea right now of one bedrooom. And dont know if VA will help

Positives: General area was very attractive,on site rehab facility well equipped. Room size- good. Price reasonable. Level 2 facility Negatives: concerned will price increase once filled to capacity. No one knew we had an apt.- thus the tour was by the maintenance man- who did well despite receiving numerous calls. Felt like we were interfering with his job. Executive director - on site, told us good by!

I lived at Watercrest for 6 months and upon moving out in November 2019 I was told that my $200 deposit for 2 Gate Fobs would be mailed to me after 30 days. In the past 7 months I have contacted Watercrest twice by phone and once in person with no success. I have asked twice for a corporate phone number that works. I left two messages with no response. I again asked for Corporate’s number, to speak with a person and they gave me the number to maintenance voicemail. You must be able to advocate for yourself regarding your finances here because several mistakes were noted in my file while I resided there.

Price looks good online, until you add in all of the extra charges for housekeeping, meals, and more, that comes included in the price at some other places. Very difficult to reach the office staff.

I toured this community for my mom. I was not happy that they kept the community very dark inside. My mom likes the opend windows. The staff was nice, but this was not a good fit for my mom.

My Father lived at Town Village for over a year. The facility is in good shape and he had no problems with his apartment, but there were times they ran out of milk and other food in the dining room. They also have trouble keeping staff - as the housekeeping that is suppose to be weekly is sometimes skipped. The biggest issue is to understand what you are signing on the lease. They have an addendum to sign that states you must give a proper 30 day notice. My Father passed on May 6th, I notified town village on the 9th thinking we would have to pay until June 9th - but they are billing my deceased father until the end of June. Be careful what you sign at Town Village - if you or a loved one passes after the billing cycle they will bill you an entire extra month. So Thoughtful.

It was good when she first moved in, she was there for about four years, but towards the end mostly it was inattention. The room wasn't being kept clean, she wasn't being attended to, they weren't making sure she was clean, it just goes on and on and on. We talked to them and they said they were working on it and things were going to get better but they didn't. They had several changes in management companies. I think they were understaffed. They said they were assisted living but they really wanted people that were more independent.

It is not a safe place and would not go back and if I can get out I will the food is terrible the only good things about it are the activity directors

The food is nearly always good. Meal times are early, and it takes some adjusting. The facilities are very clean. Room trash is picked up several times a day. There has been nearly 100% staff turnover since December. So I can't comment on that. Glad I don't work here. We have a one bedroom, and it is cozy. There is lots of public area, so there are places to go. No comment on their medicine program. It needs refining. The best part is the transport to and from doctor visits. It is such a relief. Memory patients mingle with the general population here. It's a little different if you aren't used to it.

The staff is great and the move-in process was awesome. The food choices are not good and the meals are overpriced in comparison to what they serve. Having lunch everyday but no dinner is a giant roadblock to the socialization of the residents. My mom says that almost no one comes down for lunch because it is overpriced and is served almost immediately after breakfast. The breakfast hours are not long enough--they stop serving too early for residents who take longer in the morning to get ready for the day. The safety of the residents is less--there is no staff available after hours, there are no medical safety buttons in the apartments and if you fall or need help there is no staff available. They need to offer medical guardian devices to their residents. The apartment is good, but we are on the toll road side of the building and the road noise makes it impossible to use the deck and you can hear the noise behind the closed doors and windows. You should get a lower rent if you are on that side of the building. My mom finds this apartment complex very isolating and lonely. It is hard to meet people and make friends because the dinner hour is such a social event for residents and they don't have that here. The in-house rehab contract they have with select rehab is great, my mom is using them for both OT and PT and it is a blessing that she can do it onsite and not have to travel.

Cleaning needs to be improved. Assisted care was not consisted. Many times they did not come do the daily task helping my mother get dressed. They also failed to call me on several occasions when my mother fell. The food was often cold and many times when you ordered you would wait over an hour. And you may not get what you ordered. Repairs were never made when requested at move in. The director was extremely pushy for us to get my mom moved out early.

Outside rooms were cleaned but 1 time a week isn't always done well staff there are very friendly and go above n beyond they didn't really provide much care other than meds and bringing food which they charge for the poor handling of signing my father in made it illegal that he was there in the 1st place. He couldn't afford the stay and they nvr downgraded his room like they said initially and when he left they came after me for the bill he left. I did not have a POA which is another ball they dropped. same food routinely looked like activities were readily available. for 5k a month you would expect more catering and higher class of quality

Like most places shiny and new it was by all accounts a beautiful place. Unfortunately, after 8 months this place has gone downhill. We put our trust and faith that this was the place for our parents. With a new director, her goal is Budget, NOT quality of care and it shows. If you have your loved one here, I suggest you be aware of changes, ask questions, follow your instincts and demand answers. Install video surveillance for peace of mind. Expect the best of care because we were promised above average care and now with people quitting, getting fired, the quality of care has suffered. Greatly disappointed, sad, angry and feel responsible that we have let our family down. There are still some good, kind caregivers, but like others they will eventually leave due to managements lack of support and take it or leave it attitude. The physical therapy staff are WONDERFUL and very good to the residents. Sorry I don't have much positive to offer. Just be as proactive as you can.
