Unfortunately this wasn't the right place for her but I gave it 3 stars. They had lots of activities here but mom just felt like and kept saying she wouldn't be able to keep up here. It is in a very new building and was kept up nicely and staff was very helpful with questions. They did have assisted living here that would have been great if mom ever needed it.

My mother is doing well since her move to this community. I do feel she is safe, but at this moment I'am not satisfied with the nursing care. They have a high turn over rate with their care givers. They need to hire better quality care givers. There is room for improvement in the nursing care they provide. Other that those issues everything else is going well. My mother has adjusted well to this community, and she fits in quite well. They have an amazing activities director, they have lovely activities, and entertainment. The dining experience is awesome, and the food is great. The lady's at the front desk are excellent. This is a nice community, hopefully they can pick up the slack with their nursing care.

They keep this community clean and well maintained. The staff are really wonderful. The food is not good. They offer daily activities. I like living here and I would recommend this community.

There is new management i am hoping that they can get some problems fixed. The meal menu needs more updating they weren't very good. They offer lots of activities. The community provides transportation if it's needed. It is well cleaned and up-kept.

My sister and I visited Town Village about 10 months ago , as we looked for a place for our Mom. Mom felt she needed Assisted Living, and wanted only a one story facility. After being in Assisted Living for a while, she decided that Independent Living would work for her. So, here we are, just getting settled. I am very pleased with the facility, and she seems to be getting used to the change and meeting more residents every day.

Very good tour, seems a good place. Will stay where we are for now, but good to have other choices in line.

There could be improvement on the way they conduct their meal payments. You're charged for meals whether you eat them or not. I don't like that and I don't think it's fair. You should have an option. Everything else is good except they said they had karaoke but they don't. I don't understand why they don't buy a machine and start having it. Other than that everything else is fine.

Watercrest has two facilities here. I am in Watercrest at Mansfield which is Independent Living for Seniors. The other is next door and is The Isle at Watercrest which is Assisted Living and Memory Care. Being in the Independent Living section is not really enough care for me. Thus my rating is not too high.

I like the activities, housekeepers. Areas of concern is maintenance. Put in a work order, has yet to be fixed. Was told when we moved in, washing machine was missing in our laundry. Still waiting for it to be installed. Dining room. I understand that everyone is on different diets and not all like the same things. I would like food to be sent to us warm. Now I know they are trying to improve dining services and it is improving. However still has a way to go.

Isle at Watercrest is great for patients who do not need much medical support. However, if your loved one needs to see a doctor regularly or have an IV for dehydration, this is not the place. Nurses are kind but have lots of responsibilities. Staff genuinely care about the patients but also have a heavy workload.

The food is expensive. Food is good but costly, the maintenance is great, the front desk is not helpful for people with sight problems.

In the past 21/2 yrs. things have changed. It was supposedly Senior Independent but has become more Assisted. Many have moved out. Really unsure re: value for my money at this point as I'm still very mobile. Problems with maintenance for many. Housekeeping - so so. Always something going wrong with building itself. Elevators, pool, etc. down a lot. I eat in dining rm maybe once a week. Some days better than others. Activities - ok Rooms for exercising too small. Seems to be a turnover in Staff

It has gotten better from our first couple of years, but there is room for improvement. It is on the expensive side, so your family must be prepared for the financial commitment.

It’s a nice place with many activities, I’m not found of how the meal plan works but if it works for everyone else I can tolerate it. I don’t think you should have to pay for meals you don’t eat. I would like to have a dietitian on board for better meal planning. But it’s a Nice place to live and feel at home. If you’re looking for a place I would definitely give Watercrest at Mansfield a good look.

She is pretty happy there. EXCEPT the food service is not good at all. They run out of food daily each meal. The food most of the time is not tasty at all. The people are all very nice and helpful. She likes her room a lot. Not enough group activities . The food situation is mostly . They run out of food horrible and it usually is not not good. We may be considering moving. Would not recommend unless you make your own meals.

My mom and I were really impressed with the apartments - very spacious, with full kitchens and accessible bathrooms. They’ve also been renovating some of the public spaces recently so those are looking very nice. She has been pretty disappointed with the dining options - limited choices, not especially healthy, small portions, and seems like frequent periods of sandwich-style to-go-only menus. I know they are working to improve but I would strongly suggest having a meal there before you commit.

I moved my father into Town Village and the beginning of January. It seem to be going well until the certified nurse was fired and they failed another one. Medication management was a disaster and I am still dealing with managing his medication myself. They told me they were going to transfer all of his medication‘s to a pharmacy that delivers to them, and it never happened. Nobody there knew what to do and he ended up not taking his cancer medication for two days while they were trying to get their act together. I had to step in and correct it. My dad does seem happy there, the staff is very nice. The food is really good. I think this facility lacks the proper leadership and management in someways. The staff members for transportation, and his Medicine Aid are very nice people and do a very good job. I think if there was more accountability and more structure with the staff, it would be a really great place. For now I’m giving this three stars because I think they can do better.

Our family had an in person tour with Watercrest at Mansfield and our loved one has Alzheimer's and this community is not geared towards caring for those with memory lost. Also they had multiple levels.

Things they do well at- welcoming, caring staff, clean facility. Areas for improvement-communication about resident status between shifts, staffing seems low as wait times for help are excessive. Confusion about medications from one shift to another.
