We are thoroughly thrilled. The organization is great. They offer a lot of activities and the staff, I have not met one that was not extremely friendly. My aunt is there, she has a lot of impairments and they work with her extremely well. It is a pretty big community with granite counter tops and tile woodwork throughout.

Comparably speaking Mansfield Isle at Watercrest is worth the money. They do a good job and my loved one just loves it here. The offer a wide variety of activities and seems like she stays so busy I have to make an appointment to visit her. The staff has always been very helpful. When I was visiting I started getting the shakes due to my diabetes and they did not hesitate to find me something to eat and make me feel better. We are very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone.

Visited in June 2012. I love this place. It was warm, friendly and individually oriented. Too bad but it was too far of a drive for us and a little pricey.

I would tell others that I would recommend you seriously consider Watercrest, it was the best one when we were looking around. The community is friendly, the staff are attentive, and knowledgeable. This is a good place for active seniors, and as my loved one needs more attention, they have a signature program available to assist the residents if needed. My loved one likes Southern cooking, and the community will provide a variety of food. There are activities for the residents to participate in.

From what we have seen with the meals they looked to be very nice, and have a variety of different options. We have been able to eat there a few times and it has been wonderful, delicious and nutritious. They could be better with the response times and having someone there around the clock.

My Dad has been at Raider Ranch assisted living for over a year now. We are very pleased with the care he is receiving. The staff is very friendly and seem to care about each and every resident. Dad seems to be very comfortable living at Raider Ranch. I am also very impressed with the management team. They are readily available to address any need that might arise. I would highly recommend Raider Ranch to anyone looking for a new home for their loved one.

We have been at Watercrest at Kingwood for almost 3 months. The administrative and maintenance staff have been very accommodating and responsive. The Business Manager spent 2-3 hours helping us by notarizing the sales contract for our residence, which for some strange reason had to be completed and returned the same day it was received by e-mail. We have found the residents to be very friendly and helpful. There are many activities available, including weekly dining outs with transportation at local restaurants, which we have enjoyed except for one, about 92% of the outings. There is also a monthly Saturday morning breakfast, which we will attend, but have missed due to family affairs. We have also suggested additional activities, which are currently being considered. We only eat breakfast, which is included in the monthly fee. The breakfast is about average, but below commercial establishments, such as Denny's and IHOP. In all fairness, it should be noted that the kitchen may be under a temporary strain supporting a recently opened independent and assisted living facility, which is to have its own kitchen facility. The public areas, halls, library, lobby, gym and activity rooms, are clean, well lighted and well maintained. The apartments are equipped with modern kitchens and baths. We have a carport with an additional fee. Garages with an additional fee and open parking with no fee are also available. The area is very nice with lots of trees. The only negative is the lack of shopping areas within walking distance. However, bus service is provided twice weekly to grocery stores and shopping centers and to doctor appointments within an adequate radius of Watercrest. We have not used this service, but we have heard no complaints from people who have. The swimming pool is well maintained, although we haven't used it yet. It is clean and the water temperature is maintained for closed or open use 12 months of the year. Although Kingwood has had some flooding problems, Watercrest at Kingwood has not had any problems with the May and June 2019 floods, and we understand that it had no problems with the Hurricane Harvey floods. We would recommend that anyone looking for an independent living retirement community put Watercrest at Kingwood on their short list of considerations.

I have a nice 2 bdrm 2 bath apartment with a patio here. I love the friendliness of everyone and the activities they offer. They will have things like games or an ice cream social. The food is reasonably good and I get 2 meals a day. They will come in and clean every 2 weeks. And the housekeeping always makes sure everywhere is clean. They offer a shuttle if I had an appointment or wanted to go to the grocery store. I love that they allow pets here. I would recommend this to other families.

I toured here when looking for a place for my mom. Of all places, as far as the price is concerned, they would’ve been the place that I would’ve chosen. However, the building was very big, it is 3 stories high, and the hallways were endless. It was just too big for my mom because she still relies on a walker. It looked clean and I was pretty impressed with it when I first walked in. I was able to see one of the rooms on my tour. It had vaulted ceilings and regular sized appliances, a living area, and a bedroom with a bathroom. It seemed the residents were sitting down most of the time and watching TV or visiting with their neighbor, but I was able to see the rooms where they play games or watch movies. Ultimately, we chose somewhere else.

My wife and I are appreciating our surroundings they are very pleasant. We live in the independent apartments. It is a brand new building, and they put furniture in our apartment. We spend a lot of time at our flooded home during the day so we haven't enjoyed any of the activities they have to offer. They have an option for cleaning but we do it ourselves we have two scared cats. We eat and fix our own food since we are vegan. I would recommend this community and all the amenities.

My husband is currently living in the memory care unit at Raider Ranch Assisted Living. I have first hand knowledge of the wonderful care they give their residents. Since I am a nurse I can say without a doubt the nursing care there is top notch. I couldn't be happier with the staff or service there.

I have lived at Raider Ranch Independent Living for 3 1/2 years. The building is lovely, the grounds are kept nicely. Many activities are available as well as but tours. The dining room servers as a meeting place to meet other residents. Good food. Friendly employees. Apartment maintenance is available. Educational programs are given.

The employees are so helpful they go above and beyond to assist you. The have transportation two times a day twice a week to go shopping. They have transportation once a week to go out to dinner. They offer different meal plan options. They have a breakfast buffet that is included in your rent. I have a nice sized apartment with a lot of room. They supply a washer and dryer and you are able to have housekeeping come in weekly. I have already recommended this community.

Nice clean community with great friendly staff

I cannot begin to express our superior experiences at Watercrest. Look no further for independent living. They also have a semi-assisted area called The Bridge. My Dad lived in the Bridge area for almost 2 years. It was a very sad day when he had to move to assisted living. The entire staff are respectful, friendly, and helpful to each and every resident. I would be most happy living there myself!

I feel like I am at home here . The maintenance people are quick to respond. The entire staff and the residents are super nice. They are all welcoming and they would bend over backwards to help you. The food is good, however they do not have a good diet for diabetics. They offer a lot of activities including bingo, arts and crafts, dominos and cards. The community is extremely clean inside and out. They allow pets in the community and it is a secure place. I have made new friends and I have already recommended this community.
