All of the staff here at Watermere at Firewheel have been very kind, exceptionally professional and appropriately sensitive and caring to listen to my interests and doing what they can within reason and their capability as a 1-year old, 55+ independent facility for seniors. They meet if not exceed, my overall welfare needs as well as my fellow residents in how it is structured, and in what amenities equipment are services provided. It's a friendly environment that's comfortable, reasonable, safe and luxurious affordable. I highly recommend it as as the best facility for any independent retiree. For me, its very much worth it, I'm getting more bang for the buck being here in comparison to anywhere else. You won't find better anywhere else. And no, I haven't been paid by anyone to say these things, because it's the truth and I'm experiencing it. Come and see for yourself.

Once we arrived at Watermere, [name removed] and [name removed] were phenomenal. The food was great. The place is clean and absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately I cannot elaborate too much because mom was only there for five weeks and then passed away. It is a wonderful community! My mom and the whole family were very pleased with everything. I know she would've really thrive there, but God had other plans.

We were actually able to move MIL to the independent living side of Watercrest in [date removed] since the therapy staff at Isle had helped her regain her strength on her right side since her stroke in [date removed] and she loves it!!! We are extremely happy with both sides of the facility and thank you so much for setting us up with them initially! It has made a scary, long-distance medical emergency tolerable and now enjoyable as we live only minutes away (as do her great grand-children) and we see her a couple of times a week now as opposed to a couple times a year when she lived in Abilene and we no longer spend our visits fixing things, etc. Watercrest has been a true blessing.... all the way around.... and we would recommend it to anyone!

AMAZING FACILITY. Grade A+ on all facets

Staff and activities are excellent. Facility is brand new and beautiful. Meal service is limited to $[removed]monthly and meals currently only provided for breakfast & lunch Monday thru Friday. But, every unit has a full kitchen. Transportation is provided 2 days a week. Overall a very pleasant and comfortable living environment!

The facility was VERY clean and well maintained. The staff working in the Memory Care Unit were kind and attentive, and kept a close eye on my aunt, who was wheelchair bound but prone to falling (she would forget she couldn't walk). Hospice was very helpful, kind and compassionate as well, and had good suggestions for her comfort.

Everyone there is super helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to make Dad's time there as good as it could be.

A few things I like most about the community - The staff; they are all phenomenal and warm and helpful. I have never worried that Mom wasn't in great hands! They always look out for her and help when she needs or asks for it.

Great place the management is outstanding. All staff is awesome, my mother in law is extremely happy. I have met a lot of the residents they are all very nice and happy to be living here. Great place highly recommend it.

My mother in law has been pleased with everything. The staff is courteous and responsive. The food is great. She is on the first floor and has a yard for her dog. She is looking forward to the salon opening. We would like for her to be a little more social, but she may need a scooter- she doesn’t like to walk very far.

My experience was very pleasant working with Isle of Watercrest Bryan. They took an interest in helping to address my questions for my mom. My mother moved in and is very happy. The nursing staff are attentive to her needs.

Consistently professional and warm staff. Organized. Available. I don't have to worry or hover over his care.

Water aerobics. Zumba, Happy hour with soda, tea, corn dogs, ending with "Proud To Be An American " sung by all while our flag is carried throughout the room.

I would give a 5 on each and every category. I can't speak for "care" as we are independently living. However I know the staff cares about us and would do their best to do anything for us. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

I was making arrangements from out of state. This is not an easy thing to handle. Not only was I helped during the research phase, but constant communication during the move and in the weeks after. Krystal even has texted me a few times to give me updates, and got someone to check on my dad when he was feeling a little sick. I can never thank everyone there enough. My dad is a new person, well, he’s back to the dad I knew 20 years ago. He’s happy and thriving. Town Village is absolutely a slam dunk.

5 for all. I couldn't be happier downsizing from a house to an apartment. Love my apartment, amenities, and all the people that work here are kind, considerate, and very helpful. Lots of fun activities too. Overall everyone seems to take pride in the facility and wants you to be happy here. If you have questions, concerns, or problems they get you answers right away. If they see you in the building they know your name and greet you. [name removed], the director is at all events and checks to see if we are happy. [name removed] has fun activities and outings planned. She reviews the upcoming calendar with the complex, answers questions and takes suggestions. They have a phone system to update all residents of events, activities, special announcements, and any building repairs going on. I guess I would say that I feel cared about and valued as a person and a resident.

This has been a great fit with my mom. The food and facilities quality are great. The staff is very friendly. There is a lot of options for activities.

5 for all! We have been very pleased. They are very helpful and accommodating. Very quick and gracious in responding to questions. The apartments are great size, very spacious and many option to choose from.

I'd have to give each category a 5. 1. Overall, it's conveniently located, beautifully furnished, and has great support, amenities, and activities. 2. It's well taken care of, inside and out. The housekeeping and maintenance staff are top-notch. 3. Everyone here from the administrative staff to support staff as well as the residents are incredibly friendly. Everyone is supportive and always willing to help with anything. It is a very welcoming and inclusive environment in which to live. 4. Quality of care is probably not applicable as this facility is for 55+ active living and doesn't provide assisted living. However, there is much attention given to meeting the needs of residents, safety issues, and maintenance of the entire facility. 5. The administrative staff are approachable and know the residents by name. They are easy to talk with and follow up as promised. 6. Food is now prepared and served in the facility kitchen and dining room while it was catered when I first moved in. The menu is still somewhat limited due to the smaller number of residents, but as more residents move in, we see more options. The chef definitely listens to what the residents would like to eat and prepares those items as is feasible. The quality and taste of the food are great. 7. The activities are a high point at Watermere at Firewheel. There are regular weekly and monthly activities as well as special events. At these special events, the food or snacks are exceptional, and there's almost always live music. Many prospective residents attend these special events, which gives current and future residents the opportunity to know each other before new people move in. This helps to create a very strong sense of community that exits here. 8. The value for the money required to live here is wonderful. When I figured the expenses I was paying for my own home, it was definitely financially beneficial to move here.

It's in a great location. The cleanest facility we visited. The staff is so attentive and caring and are very quick to respond when mom needs attention. Mom enjoys making new friends and participating when she's able in activities.
