Mom has been at Colonial Courtyard for 3 years. She has wonderful caregivers and she has met some good friends. The facility is beautiful and clean. There are many activities for the residents to participate in or they can sit on the front porch and visit and enjoy the scenery.

After researching many new accommodations for my father I am very pleased we found The Residence. The staff turned what is normally a very stressful time for family and new tenants into a seamless and tranquil transition. My father has a renewed independence that I thought he’d never have again thanks to their very accommodating professionals. The gorgeous views only add to the already beautiful accommodations!

My wife began her Dementia journey in 2018. It slowly became worst over time. After 5 years I could not care for her. My children visited several facilities in our area and as a family, we chose Magnolias of Chambersburg. It was not easy for me, we have been married for 51 years. It turned out to be the right decision. Everything about Magnolias is first class. The staff is caring and compassionate. This gives me peace of mind knowing she is being so well cared for.

So far I have had 3 family members live at magnolias. We desperately needed a place for my grandfather in law to go and then that led to me working there and suggesting both my grandmothers move there too. Having a loved one with dementia is a devastating diagnosis. We kept my gram at home as long as we could but we needed help and Magnolias was there. The peace of mind we have knowing she is safe is priceless. We see a whole different side of her participating in exercises and singing. Another side we see is the “sassy” side. The staff handles that great with redirection and just some plain compassion for the individual. They work with the families to learn about each resident.

We were very fortunate to be connected with Magnolia's of Chambersburg's Memory Care Unit. We can't say enough about our positive experience with them! Magnolia's sent a team to our town to do an evaluation of our loved one on an emergency basis. They were very professional, yet compassionate and worked quickly. Our loved one was placed within a week. The staff was extremely accomodating during the admission and beyond. They were kind, patient and respectful with our loved one and gave her the best care possible in their secured unit. We were finally able to sleep at night knowing she was safe and cared for. The entire staff was incredible during our 13 months there and it is evident they take pride in what they do. The facility is clean, bright and homey. There are 25 large private rooms, allowing for more attention per resident. We utilized the in- house salon, doctor, podiatrist and transport to other appointments. It's your choice. Lastly, we were welcome to visit at any time.

I am so pleased that we put my family member in this loving & caring facility. It’s such a warm & inviting place that I actually can hang out with the entire crew. The work that this facility gives to your loved one is very demanding & yet they give 100% at all times. Magnolias has always provided our family with such a special gift that money can’t buy. This gift comes from the heart & soul of each & every employee there. Thank You Magnolias for all your hard work & the love you give to these patients.

They are very personable and treat each person as family. They truly care about each individual resident and go above and beyond to consider their additional needs. The Residents is furnished with a very home like feel with the element of a vacation home/resort/hotel on the water. Beautiful views of Lake Erie and the gorgeous sunsets year round. All of the staff knows each resident by name and their family when they call or come to visit. I could not have asked for a better place to care for my parents. I can feel good about having Mom and Dad in their care with the piece of mind that I do not have to worry about them or their care needs.

My mother has been a resident of Colonial Courtyard for several years. It is nice that each resident has their own private room where they can be surrounded by their own personal possessions which make them feel at home. There are many varied activities available for them to participate in each week. This keeps them interacting with others. In our experience the staff members are loving and caring toward the residents. Colonial Courtyard provides a sense of security to our family that our mother is in a safe environment with quick medical attention when needed.

My mother was in the memory care unit for over two years. We had a very good experience with the staff and administration there. They were always in very good communications with us and seemed to legitimately care about the residents. We experienced their level of care on a daily basis, as at least one of her children were in and out of the facility every day. They formed a good a relationship with the famiy and patients and were very supportive when it came to the end for our mother. In my mother's situation, nothing could have been perfect, but I can't imagine another facility doing any better. They adapted well to her deterioriating condition due to dementia. We would like to thank the staff and administration for the support and comfort they gave to our mother. Several of them even attended her funeral/memorial service.

My gram did not want to leave her home, she could no longer be by herself. Since she has been at magnolias she is doing wonderful. She is well taken care of and absolutely loves the whole staff. We are very blessed that she is there. It is such an amazing place they treat their residents like family.

We had a great experience at Newhaven Court. Sadly, my dad started to have dementia symptoms that required a memory care facility, and there were no openings in the memory care unit of Newhaven Court.

My stay is wonderful thanks to the loving care given to me by the caregivers here. To a person, the staff is professional, compassionate, caring and available when necessary. They have been very helpful on my journey to being self sufficient.

The marketing manager at Magnolias of Chambersburg was very kind, courteous and knowledgeable..It felt very welcomed when I arrived by all of the staff, that came in contact with. Overall it was an enjoyable experience/meeting.

I can't say enough about the experience I've had since even the beginning of this crazy process with my aunt. The first call I made was answered, the FIRST person I talked to knew the answers to nearly all of my questions, and someone followed up with me on everything that I was unsure about. There wasn't any easy way to make this change for our family, but we have peace of mind knowing that she is safe and with people who love and care about her like these folks do.

Our mother stayed in the Memory Care unit at Exton Senior Living for a month of respite care. ESL took excellent care of our mother, and she responded very well to the staff too! Every morning and afternoon, there were different activities to keep her and the other residents engaged, If your loved one is in need of memory care, I recommend Exton Senior Living. The staff are caring and attentive, there are daily activities, and the unit is clean and secure.

They have wonderful caring employees. I cannot say enough about the care my Mother is given at Colonial courtyard, in Clearfield PA. They go out of their way to make her as comfortable as possible. My Mother likes all the people that work there, and when a certain employee is off, she always asks where she is. Colonial courtyard has given my Family and myself peace of mind in knowing that my Mother is well taken care of. My whole Family appreciates all they have done and continue to do, and wishes to thank them for their caring.

Magnolia’s has been a life saver for our family! Mom is so well taken care of as her illness progresses. The staff are caring and kind to the residents! They exude patience. We are so lucky to have found this !

I am a resident at Presque isle on the bay,and here is why. There are only 51 people living here and there are like family. Just walking in the front door you can see the difference, it’s quaint quiet and friendly and the staff are here to help. Food is always good and they will always find you something off the menu. The workers are here to help from the head nurse to the ceo and all in between. I have been in other places and they don’t come close to here. YOU HAVE TO SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT You’re friend [name removed] COME AND TAKE A TOUR

The staff at Colonial Courtyard took care of everything during Mom’s transition from the rehabilitation facility, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. My mother is calling Colonial Courtyard her home now and loves it here. She fits into the community very well making new friends and seeing some old friends too. The Dinning experience here has been exceptional with a variety of choices throughout the day for each meal. The Van is always on the move taking the residents out to eat, picnics, on fall excursions, Bennezette to see the Elk, local plays and concerts, to Lights on the Lake at Christmas time, there is always something going on inside too. The Dinner Parties for the Holidays are always so relaxing and inviting. Families come in and sit with their loved ones to enjoy a wonderful meal. Just like home! My Mother just loves the Staff, they are always so friendly and helpful. My family and I made the best choice when we picked Colonial Courtyard!

When it came to the activities, my loved one didn't get the chance to participate. [name removed] and [name removed] very helpful. Med Techs and aides very helpful. My brother was only there a short time but it was a positive experience. My brother died on [date removed] and was buried today ,
