When we visited the Residence, my dad was so impressed with its beautiful location, being right on the water. I was impressed with the overall professionalism, courtesy and attention to detail during the admission process for personnel care. The staff is amazing, they always address dad by his name and after four months I have witnessed only kind and compassionated interactions between staff and residences. I would definitely recommend the Residence at Presque Isle Bay!!

Magnolias is a great place for caring for your loved one. We currently have a 2nd family member in their care. Staff is very personable and attentive to both resident and family members. Chambersburg is very lucky to have this facility. This should be your first stop when inquiring about assisted living. Staff is easy to work with when helping the family thru this journey.

The staff that works at Magnolia are very caring and concerned with my mother‘s issues. When my mother broke her hip, the staff came to visit her at the hospital and rehab facility. They also went above and beyond to bring her back to Magnolia, where she is the most comfortable. She was extremely happy to be back at Magnolias . She missed the caregivers, which says a lot. I feel very comfortable knowing she is in a safe environment and caring staff.

For several months, we heard from the individual we were entrusted to care for about her feelings of isolation. Despite best efforts to provide home care in her condo, she shut herself away, rarely leaving and struggling with the kind of depression that medicine can't cure. One sunny Saturday morning, my daughter and I convinced her to visit The Residence at Colvin Run with us. That day marked a turning point—a “WOW Moment” that sparked a transformation in her life. She found renewed purpose and joy not seen in years. Her studio is like a suite in a 5-star hotel. The facilities, services, and dedicated team reflect a corporate culture committed to the physical and mental wellness of Colvin's residents. Their passion for care creates an environment where those they serve are treated like family, setting the stage for positive changes in their lives. After exploring other facilities, we are blessed to be part of the Colvin Run family.

After my dad had several falls at home, the family made the difficult decision to move him into assisted living. After visiting several places, it was apparent that Magnolia’s was the right fit! We all fell in love, including dad, with the Magnolia’s community. Their attention to detail in the very tasteful decor is the first thing you notice as you walk through the door. It doesn’t look like the ‘typical’ assisted living. The staff is top notch from top to bottom. They all have the residents best interests at the heart of everything they do. We are so blessed that our dad can call this place home.

My 4 for cleanliness is because my mom was in memory care--probably a little harder to keep as nice as the rest of the building The staff were phenomenal--everyone. My mom was in the hospital for an injury & returned back to The Residence on hospice. When I came back to her room the first time after having been at the hospital with her for a few days, I wept: the staff had cleaned her room and arranged it perfectly for her return. She died a few days later. Her care & the care extended to me & my family during her last days was beautiful I am so thankful for her life there, and her death there.

They were wonderful to mom and all of us. We had hospice I the last few days and they made her passing very peaceful. I would definitely recommend The Pines of Mt. Lebanon to other families!

There is not enough room for me to write about how wonderful Colvin Run is. The team, the care, the activities... the list goes one. I have never been one to leave a review, but this community is too special not to tell everyone. If you or someone you know needs helps for a loved one, please look no further. I have toured and have experiences with so many other places, this is by far the BEST. I cannot thank the amazing people at Colvin Run enough.

I would recommend to others. We picked this community because of the cost, it was the only one that had a roommate room. That made it affordable.

My mom was content, clean and comfortable. Her body, clothing, bedding and room were always neat and clean. She always seemed comfortable and content. The staff was kind and communicative. It was as or even better than I expected.

They are a bit short staffed but most health care facilities are. Our mom is in memory care and we are not displeased with any of the services at Tyrone. I would rank everything a 5. We feel very fortunate your staff found this facility for us - 20 minutes from our childhood home! The memory care staff is very good with the patients. I personally saw one of the staff working with a new patient. Great job decreasing the patient's anxiety.

Staff are one of the best in the Eastern Shore. You can tell they care for their residents. They engage with them and they show respect and treat them like family. And you can tell their residents are happy.

The people who work here are truly what makes this place great. They are friendly, professional and care about each resident. Candle Light Cove is always very clean and there are lots of fun activities for people to do. I highly recommend this place for your loved ones!

This is a very warm, smaller facility, which was perfect for my mother as far as learning a new place with her memory issues. They basically rolled out the red carpet the day she came in. Everyone was so nice and like they were waiting for her to arrive and so excited. The rooms are a very comfortable size and updated. The staff are excellent! There are activities daily throughout the week. It is quieter in there on the weekends. They have a lovely front porch and patio around the side of the building for outdoor time which my mother loves. I looked at a lot of facilities from State College Huntington to Altoona and new when I saw this place that it was the right fit for my mother. She has been in there for months and is thriving. She’s doing activities that I’ve never seen her do before and she is out of her room and socializing more than she has in years, make it a very special place

After researching several assisted living facilities, our family selected The Residence at Presque Isle to help care for Dad. The facility location is beautiful, the interior clean and welcoming and Dad loves the food! Both caregiving and support staff have treated Dad with respect and dignity, and our family takes great comfort in knowing that Dad is well cared for and safe each day; the wrist watch call button/safety alert device is excellent. Dad's needs increased early during his stay, and the leadership and caregiving staff worked diligently to understand Dad's changing needs. Communication with the staff has been encouraged and ongoing, seeking to understand and meet Dad's needs; it has felt like a genuine partnership. The Community Relations Director, [name removed], was our first point of contact when we were assessing which facility would be right for Dad, and her genuine caring about Dad is a great example of how we feel about Dad's experience as a resident.

I am a current resident and have been here for around 4 months and I love living here. I was hesitant on moving in at first that people would not like me or I might not fit in but I have made so many new friends, I have gone on trips to places I have never been and I have also tried so many new foods that I didn’t know existed.

We thought this would be much harder to place my uncle. It has been overwhelming for our family, but magnolias was a great compassionate support. Visiting this evening and seeing my uncle involved and making friends really gave me peace of mind. The management and staff are true professionals and know what they are doing. Our family is thankful to know he not only has good care but he is enjoying life there as well. The pet dog is awesome too!

I have volunteered many times and enjoy my time there. I have volunteered in other settings and this by far is my favorite. It’s inviting and beautiful, residents are always happy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. This is a community much different than the rest and you see that very quickly when you visit.

Microwaves were removed from each apartment/ suite and there isn't one available in the activity room that was converted to their dining area. I'd expect a bit more for [cost removed] a month. More often than not, it's hard to find someone staff wise on her floor especially since it's now a locked floor meaning a code must be used to get an elevator to exit the floor.

[name removed] was great to work with enjoyed touring the facility and her expertise. Facility was clean and residents seemed to be happy living there. Staff was very outgoing and pleasant demeanor. Over all is was pleased with what I observed.
