We visited this community while looking into care options for a loved one. New Haven is gorgeous. There are kitchenettes in the rooms that we saw, and the rooms themselves were also very large. Semi-private rooms weren't bad because there is a wall to separate the two beds, however the kitchen and bathroom are shared with one being on one side of the room and the other being in the opposite room.

Felt that this was the place for Mom. Every item on my checklist was positive. Staff and tour were impressive. A great benchmark to start with.

I think its a very nice facility. It's very clean facility, even though they were remodeling but it didn't affect it at all. They kept it as clean as they could. They were very very friendly and outgoing. It did not affect any of the residents. Really its for my mother. The residents very good and friendly. Also a pet friend facility. I could hear the dogs in the apartment.

it was absolutely wonderful! They were ver considerate, always available, and couldn't have been kinder. My mom is actually in the hospital right now, so we're working with them to get her back in there eventually and they are great. The atmosphere and the feel of the place is wonderful, very calming. It's just been wonderful. We have not had to second guess our decision for a moment.

from the time I spoke with the representative at Glen mills I knew this is where mom was going to stay. I toured the facility, met with personnel all very helpful. Invited me to bring mom in for a visit, which I did, she was impressed. cost was reasonable. mom had a beautiful room, ample space, food was good. this is a plus, previous facility she was in, food was awful, had food brought in from various restaurants in area. on top of this, i paid the facility 10500.00 for her to share a room and eat awful food. glen mills she had her own room, with good food, staff was attentive, activities age appropriate. the staff did not treat the residents like kindergarten children nor did they have activities for them, like they do in kindergarten. mom is very demanding, and they were able to keep up with her. she likes to be pampered.

Everything regarding our experience with Glen Mills Senior Living has been wonderful. I would highly recommend them. They could use some training with a few of the caregivers on how to use oxygen. I know that any place there will inevitably be some small issue, and there was one here with a tech that was supposed to fix something in moms room not doing it and being a little rude, but the issue was taken to the right people at Glen Mills and resolved and we've not had any such issues since. We are very pleased with our experience.

It is a lovely place, one of the workers knew my husband, Downsizing was a shock, previous resident had , they were upfront about pricing and direct about ttheir pricing. I saw the assisted living areas, not the memory unit, memory garden is available, everyone has portable gps units. We saw the sign up board for activities, residents seemed to be signing up. I saw a menu, looked like they had a nice variety, Room sizes seemed like a nice size, one downside they had generous closet size, but I didn't see any seperate storage.

We're very pleased with Magnolias of Lancaster. They really seem to have a commitment to treating the whole person here, not just their physical symptoms, they make sure their residents improve mentally and emotionally as well. It has really relieved a lot of my own anxiety knowing that my loved one is somewhere with such caring and competent caregivers. They even do a great job with the food! The meals are nutritious and balanced, and they have a good variety of things available. They're also willing to try and cater to the individual tastes of the residents.

We're very happy with how things have gone at Magnolias of Lancaster so far! Everyone here is so friendly, and very accommodating! It does matter when you go in or who you talk to, everyone always stops to say hello. The facility itself is sparkling clean, and very well kept. I really have nothing but good things to say about our experience here!

My family and I are very impressed with Glen Mills Senior Living. It's a warm and loving environment and the staff is so caring and diligent. We are so grateful to A Place for Mom for finding it for us.

The entire staff of Magnolias made my Mother feel so welcome. Her room was bright and cheerful and she liked the food. Her last days were filled with love and happiness.

The facility has a new owner and I was concerned that services would not be as good. Not only has the transition been smooth, but cleanliness and interactions with staff have improved (baseline was already a B+). I met the new Director within the first month of new ownership and was very impressed! Hope this is a good omen going forward. Overall it is the best facility I have visited (> 45 facilities).

They lived up to everything they said they would do. I liked the people and they were very helpful. They worked very well with Celtics the hospice people. We thought he had a little more time but, our stay was short. They were great while he was there though.

We use the adult day program 2x per week since my mom retired. She enjoys the activities & the staff is very nice.

This is a really wonderful community, the staff are very friendly, and so good at interacting with dementia patients. There are so many activities, and they are very good at keeping the residents engaged and social! I don't have as much experience with their assisted living care, but I would highly recommend this place for their memory care!

This is a very nice community, but unfortunately not what my loved one is needing. His level of care is higher than what they are able to provide, but the services they do provide are very good for that level of care. All of the employees are lovely people. Although it isn't right for us, I would recommend it to anyone who might be looking for this level of assisted living care.

I really liked the look of this place, it was very nice looking and all of the staff were friendly! Unfortunately Mom decided after the fact that she really didn't want to move, and went back to her previous place shortly afterwards. It was nothing New Haven did, Mom just decided she didn't want to go through the ordeal of meeting an entirely new set of people. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking, though, it was very nice!

My parents were here briefly for a respite stay, but we were well satisfied with the service. My parents enjoyed themselves, and they said the food was good. We liked it enough that we may use them again the next time we're taking an extended trip!

I really can't think of anything to complain about, or any way they could improve! It's a very clean, nice looking place, and the staff are great. The food is also pretty good, I've only had it once myself, but my loved one is not afraid to complain if she doesn't like something, and we haven't heard any complaints! One of the reasons we selected it was that the memory care unit is very small, so the residents get a lot of individual attention.

We are pleased with this community so far! It came highly recommended to us by friends, and Mom knew a few people living here already. We recently moved her into a slightly larger unit, so Mom is pleased with all the space she has. She really enjoys the social atmosphere at this community. The food is also very good, Mom says she hasn't been snacking as much because she fills up at every meal!
