Turn over of staff is constant. Had Mother in facility for 8 weeks and gave up looking for improvement. Their main goal is pinching pennies on caregivers, food and facility despite high cost to resident . She would not be checked on for hours and no coverage at all during the night. Paid for all the extras, but not a safe environment for loved one.

I chose Raintree Terrace for my Dad believing he would be safe and cared for. We chose a Private Memory Care room and I paid $4,680. We made arrangements to have him transported from SC to TN. I changed his room to Semi-Private due to the expense of transport. Raintree was in contact with the Rehab center and also the Hospital he was being discharged from all week before he got there. We were promised there would be a NP there to evaluate him on arrival. All I got was one nurse covering Assisted Living and Memory Care. I trusted she would do the right thing but my father was deceased by 3pm the next day. His BP went into stroke territory but they did not call an ambulance and did not have his meds ready for him. When I got the call the Administrator sent me to the Emergency Room but he never arrived there and I had to go back to Raintree. I believed the girls at Raintree when they said I should chose them and they would take care of my father. They did not and he was dead in less than 24 hours. Do not fall for all the fancy stuff. Make sure there are responsible people who make good decisions. They had a responsibility to call an Ambulance if the situation was beyond what they could provide. No one did. They were provided all the info they needed from the Rehab center and the Hospital along with Dx reports and his prescriptions. They were ill prepared for his arrival. I am sorry I chose Raintree.

I was very disappointed with my experience at Kanawha Place. I brought my mother here and the first day a roach ran across the floor. I moved her out immediately.

Only good if your loved one is pretty independent. They are horrible and unpleasant to them otherwise. They are ill equipped in handling elderly with dementia!!!! Do not send those you are about there if they need a lot of hands on care and/or suffering from dementia. Neither the staff nor the place are able to handle them. They falsely advertise that they can handle such needs. Unfriendly and ignorant to the illness.

Management at Creekside Terrace replies with a "stock" answer to online bad reviews to make it seem like they care, but they never actually respond to resident's complaints. They don't make repairs (many of the thermal windows have cracked and you can't see out of them - it's like being in a cell with no outside view - refuse to repair them.) And the food is mostly white pasta and white rice, salads are a couple of lettuce leaves with one or two cherry tomatoes. And my mom pays nearly 3,000 per month. It is bad and it is getting worse and management does not care

My mother lives there now. Everything has changed since she moved in a couple of years ago when Holiday sold out to new owners from China. They take anyone who will pay, even if they cannot care for themselves - and no one cares for those who do not meet "independent living" qualifications. Not enough healthy food to eat, meals take nearly three hours each (breakfast, lunch and dinner,) because not enough employees to serve. High turnover of employees that are there a short amount of time, [Removed] what they can from the residents and then leave (or are fired for mischief.) This is no longer the Creekside it used to be. We believe the new owners are sucking all the cash they can out of the place before they sell out to another buyer.

The food their is mediocre at best. The staff that takes care of the medicines is rude and hard to work with. VERY EXPENSIVE, they don't do what they say they do - example: they get laundry mixed up all the time and you end up with other peoples clothes, bedding. Gross. The Executive Director is a nightmare - very standoffish and rude and if you remove your parent/grandparent from their facility she calls in a false report of abuse and neglect for the Department of Elder Care to come to your house and investigate you. She made the call while I was moving my relative out there and had the nerve to say to me that day "should you ever need help with anything just call me" she then stabbed me in the back. She needs to be fired. I am consulting an attorney for her false abuse report.

My best friends mother was a patient there until [removed] - I am appalled at the horrid quality this dear sweet dignified lady received at Foxbridge Assisted living. I would not put my dog in your care!! Shame on you!!

Used Wellspring for respite care for a week to ten days. Upon returning, my father had not bathed, nor had he changed clothes in the entire time. One nurse, as I left, with him commented, "He's not diabetic is he? He's eaten chocolate all week like it was going out of style." Shouldn't she have figured that out long before I came to pick him up? Fortunately, he is not diabetic, but he does suffer from fairly severe dementia and needs to be assisted with bathing, changing clothes, meds, food prep, etc. Wellspring failed at most of those. I would never trust a loved one to their care again.

DON’T LIVE HERE OR IN ANY OTHER OF THE BRANCHES OWNED BY HOLIDAY RETIREMENT. The whole place stinks terribly of tobacco smoke as most of the residents are chain smokers. The hot water is gone by 8 am and you have to take a barely lukewarm shower after that. The staff is rude and uncaring. They treat people as if they were children. The food is awful and they are EXTREMELY stingy with it. Portions are tiny and you don’t get more if you ask. You also cannot substitute unless you want EXACTLY the substitute described on the menu. Not even to help you comply with dietary restrictions you are on. They repeatedly bill you for money you do not owe, even after you have mentioned the problem to them and sent the bill back. They do this to many of the residents, not just me. I suspect they do it purposely, as many residents are losing their memory, in the hope of receiving money that is not due them from residents with memory problems. The activities consist of basically nothing other than bible study.

Too independent.
