I have enjoyed living at Cedar. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. My husband and I moved here in Oct. 2016. But unfortunately, he passed in June 2019. My new friends that I have made have been so nice to me. Very comforting.

So much to do - walk around the beautiful lake, inside and out activities daily. The management have done an amazing job keeping us all well from the covid virus. Management are always willing to listen, very funny at times and always helpful when needed. The chef here delivers a nice array of good food. I've met many new friends here and can truly say I enjoy living here with this big family!

Rock Creek community is offering activities during COVID, right now they are having us play bingo and card games while still maintaining social distancing. Before COVID we were able to go out on field trips, and during the mid spring to summer months they would have a big garage sale. The food is pretty average, but my two bedroom apartment has enough space for my microwave and my refrigerator, it is also pretty private.

I came here at the lowest point of my life (my wife just died). The sales leader gave me a tour and introduced me to several guests and employees. I was so very impressed. With my doctor's ok, I decided that Cedar Ridge might help me through terrible depression and much grief. It has! I really have love the employees, guests, etc. who may have saved my life.

Both my mom and dad moved to BWL together. Very friendly and welcoming. The staff are very available and extremely caring and kind! My mom required additional help through homecare but my dad did not, so it was perfect to share a specious room together. The BWL is beautifully kept up inside and outside areas.

After my mother died, the plan was for Dad to live with us as soon as we added room onto our house. Dad and I toured facilities looking for a temporary place for him to live. But when we toured Rock Creek Retirement, the facility was bright and cheerful, the staff and residents were friendly, and they invited him to play a game with them. Within a few hours Dad called me and said, "I want to move there and stay! It is a place where I will have friends." That was 7 years ago and we have nothing but good to say about Rock Creek! [names removed] and the staff are such loving people that they truly feel like family. About a year ago Dad had to go to a skilled nursing facility for 2-3 weeks. When he returned, it was lunchtime. As we walked through the dining room, the residents started greeting Dad and then they all started clapping for him. The friendships at Rock Creek make life a joy!

I started my 9th year here [date removed]. The management team members here are the greatest and the servers are polite and nice. LOVE IT HERE.

This community is very concerned about health during the virus. We were isolated in rooms for two weeks until clearance was made. Three meals are furnished daily. The neighbors are very friendly and management is very helpful.

Excellent place to live and play. It is a 5-star accommodations. Everything run professional, clean, lots of activities, and delicious food. Everything that [name removed] told be has been true. His door is always open all lead people are super nice and their doors are open.

This has been a wonderful place for my wife's 90+ year old mother. She has been here about four years or so, and has really enjoyed it. They have taken great care of her and keep a watchful eye on all. When she needed the tub taken out and replaced with a shower, they could care of it quickly and changed it out at no cost. We have great confidence in [name removed] and his team in taking care of all the residents.

Rock Creek Hillsboro, OR has been a great place for my Dad to live and socialize with other elderly retirees. He gets great care and service from the managers and staff, and continues to feel safe and happy during this pandemic. Everyone is super friendly and helpful, and takes the time to listen and talk to you about any issues that arise. I would highly recommend Rock Creek Hillsboro, OR to anyone looking for an independent retirement facility.

We moved in at the right time. Because of the pandemic, we are well cared for, fed, provided with masks and encouraged to use them. Our managers, [names removed], are the most hard-working, sensitive to our needs, caring people I know and this place wouldn’t be the same without them. Our apartment is lovely, and the best we saw of the five facilities we toured. It has more storage and many windows.

The community was a very fine place, careful with the residents, and careful with the COVID outbreak. They have done a great job with anyting that has to do with COVID. Cedar Ridge is very good to the residents. The room is beautiful for my loved one, and we were able to furnish the room for her. The food is fine. My loved one has enjoyed the activities. They have arts and crafts, bingo, card games, painting, and more to offer for activities.

It is a great place for assisted living. I would recommend them. The room was really nice and private for my loved one. The furniture had to be provided us. The food was very good. The staff was very nice.

[names removed] are the best! Mom's experience at Rock Creek was really great. When she needed help they did all they could to help her even when it was not help necessarily appropriate for independent living. They were more than patient with Mom as she struggles with memory issues and frequently needed help. They were also efficient with all business transactions. They frequently had entertainment for the residents and events to keep them active and involved with their neighbors. [names removed] all have hearts for serving seniors, they are compassionate people. We loved having mom there.

Due to a series of unfortunate events, my mother had to leave her assisted living facility in early March, transfer to a nursing home and then in June find a new assisted living facility at the height of the Covid 19 crisis. [name removed] - an angel on earth - helped get me a room for her at the Manor at Woodside, the perfect room, right across from the elevator...he gave me a virtual tour and weekly phone calls until the day came that she could move in. My mother is doing really well in spite of the fact that most amenities have been shut down due to Covid. Chair exercise classes have resumed, as has BINGO and the residents can go out on the patio or into the Library to socialize. Mom says that the food is good, although she wishes they were serving in the dining room - which is halted due to an abundance of caution - so they deliver all 3 meals to the room each day. The Manor at Woodside is impeccably clean, with no "senior living smell" and her laundry gets done and her room cleaned without ever having to ask. The staff at the Manor at Woodside treats every resident like they are their own family. I couldn't ask for a nicer place to have my mom living, with a more caring and considerate staff.

The whole staff at the Manor at Woodside have all been so friendly and personable in making the transition into the new apartment for my grandparents as easy as possible. The communication between myself, my family, and the Manor has been professional, and timely. They have been working with us and guiding us in what we need to know for doctors, transportation for appointments, aids, and more. They have been great to work with, and we are very satisfied with the service thus far.

Although my wife and I have lived at Devonshire Estates for only 2 months, we find life here very comfortable and relaxing. The ambiance is quiet and attractive, the staff is very pleasant and helpful, and the food is tasty and of good variety. I can only imagine life here will get even better once the coronavirus business has ended and normal activities can be resumed.

I love it here. I feel very much at home. All the staff is top drawer!!
