Bad food. Trash not handled properly. Housekeeping is not as scheduled.

Rent goes up every year and services go down. Very small portions of food. Cold food. Poor management. Poor housekeeping. You can complain all you want - no improvements. This is a very shady business. Not just this location, other companies too.

So-so!

The food now during COVID is being left outside the door on chairs, that way there is no contact. The room provided is very small, there are little to no activities provided. Since COVID they have not been accommodating to the residents or their families, such as giving them a discount in their rent.

Communication with the front office is a challenge for my mother, availability, patience and understanding of issues. The quality of food is extremely disappointing we have to provide her with substitutes continually. Chili or a corn dog for a Sunday dinner is unacceptable!

I don't have much first hand knowledge. But I know after they had a grand theft obbery they did not provide any additional security and although very nice about speaking to me refused to consider stepping up security measures. I want happy about that and requested the district manager to call me back, which never happened. Other than that my mother constantly complains about the food and the portion sizes, I've been there a few times during dinner and found the food substandard for even a prison. It was a joke. I know that during the covid crisis they were taking precautions and hand staff delivering food to the room, but the staff were not wearing masks. That too is a joke. But it is clean and updated and doesn't smell bad. Activities are much much better since the new activities manager came on board.

Management does not seem to have the residents well being first. Not very helpful with problems and problem residents. "Too busy" comment heard frequently. Do not communicate well.

Before COVID-19, it was a very friendly community and the staff were very supportive. She made friends and she was happy there are. Now, since COVID-19, the sequestration has caused the food to be very limited and they have no housekeeping Emotionally this has not been good and depression is becoming a problem. We chose this community because they could meet their needs, it was close to our family, and high class for enough for their standards. Also, the people were friendly and very responsive . They are putting in a lot of effort however, this is just not a good way to take of the elderly.

The person [name removed] talked to had no knowledge of Medicaid nor seemed interested in helping him get placed there. It would have been nice to feel wanted. He feels lost and alone in his search.

Assisted Living not Retirement. Clueless new manager who talks down to residents. Corporate leader doesn’t care . Stay away!!!

The person we were scheduled to tour with was instead writing up a lease. So we got [name removed] that didn’t know the facility well, struggled to answer questions. Was very distracted. Even though I told him 3 of the four of us touring had hearing problems he continued to talk quietly and talk away from us as we were walking. We saw several different suite options but still were not given all the options were told to look on website Once [name removed] was free she came and spoke with us in dining room. Showed us one more suite and answered our remaining questions. The carpets in the suites look old and dirty. The general smell on the building was odd. There was chaos everywhere right from the second you walked in the front door the desk blocking entrance where [name removed] was sitting was exploding with papers dumped on top of it and surrounded by papers in boxes They were unpacking new furniture and pictures were lined up and down all hallways. Not all the hallways had hand railings the entire length. Very few of the bathrooms had comfort height toilets and none of them had a grab bar for the toilet to help people get off the toilet. The staff as we ate lunch was very friendly. The food was delicious And the area was clean and bright. One of our side plates was dirty but other than that it was very nice We had to cut our tour short as we had to be at next tour and they were very understanding.

The facility is quite old and dated. Cosmetic paint and carpet replacement has been ongoing for about 3 months now. Just finish it!! Why has it stopped midway?? Management is uncaring and not helpful. Mom has been here for just over a year now. Costs have increased substantially and food quality has gone downhill. Not a place I recommend. Too bad but we will need to move Mom out of this joint. Do not move here unless you want crummy food and bad management.

The community mix was not ideal for my mom. Also property should have a deep cleaning more often due to pets.

The annual increases from this facility exceed the inflation rate. My niece works at a Senior's facility and they encourage input via a committee from senior's family, no such committee at this facility. They do not address on-going concerns from the seniors such as complaints about the food. As per a previous comment, if the senior is in hospital they will still be expected to pay rent which is fair but also they will be paying for food which is not fair. The cleaning service is about 15 min. per week.

No assisted living care, just independent living.

Food is inconsistent in quality. Onboarding Process is inconsistent. Server staff is great. Accountability for office staff is missing. Communication to residents is poor. When the parking lot lights malfunctioned, it took four days to repair. Office staff do not have backgrounds in dealing with seniors. The management of this location is in need of extensive process improvements.

The apartments are nice and the meals are good. However, my father never felt welcomed there. The staff were always too busy for anyone’s issues. The visitor parking situation is a joke. Management is difficult to deal with and impossible to reach. No one returns phone calls. I should have realized the problem on day one when after several phone calls and meetings – no one expected us on move in day. Arrangements were quickly made for us to move furniture but no one was available to introduce my dad to residents or acquaint him with routines (as promised). Communications never improved. Elevators are often out-of-order leaving everyone waiting long periods of time for the one functioning elevator. Do not make my mistake – get everything in writing. I gave verbal notice to 2 employees in early October and no one mentioned that I needed to put it in writing. I ended up paying for rent until the end of December.

Looking for a place with option to increase care levels and vibrant community. Didn't see this as a option for us here.

Smokers in the building. Rather dark and staff all seem quite new.
