Prior to my loved ones medical episode while touring the property , the tenants living there seemed to be happy. If your loved one has a medical episode and is hospitalized AFTER signing lease however prior to moving in, DON'T expect management to return your call(s) OR respond to your emails. Have an attorney on stand by. Fortunately, I was able to FINALLY speak with management prior to getting an attorney involved. If I recall correctly , close to a month had lapsed. In the end, after my loved ones medical episode, she went to hospice and passed. Dealing with that and unprofessional/unresponsive management was horrible!

I have not lived there this pass year. After [name removed] had that bad fall and he went into long-term care, it was way to costly for me to stay at Grizzly Peak. From what I have heard from a few of the residents there, the food went down hill, activities director and bus driver quit, and everything in general was not good. Speaking for myself, I would put it at the bottom of my list for senior living. The out of state owners have no idea what us Montana people like for comfortable living. I even had to set them straight on my bill, because they over charged me.

We visited Sky Peaks and were invited to have lunch. The lady touring us was pleasant and nice. The blonde who introduced herself as assistant manager who's in charge of the kitchen was rude and unprofessional. They didn't get our order until we've been sitting there for more than an hour. We didn't get an apology from the assistant manager. She yelled and used the [removed] word at the lady touring us in front of us. Very unprofessional. We won't be back.

Totally misleading. Facilities are broken. Sales price offer move in discount rates and then once in prices sky rocket despite the lease. Food servers withhold from residents and are beyond rude. Servings are disgusting and tiny and if residents are not in seats at start they are denied food. 3 meals per day is part of the price, and it is inedible and when it is edible it is tiny servings. Residents are treated like children. This is NOT as advertised. There is little to no real entertainment or activities, the recreational room and gym have broken equipment. More people just leave then complain.

I looked for a place for my mom, I talked with front office, and talked with nurse ( who is not affiliated with willow gardens) she meant my mom and said we could move in, I stated she may need help as this is her first time in a place. She agreed. We moved I. [Date Removed] and stayed 1 day and the nurse said she was too much. I picked her up and and got her out of there. I was very distressed and they took my mom with them and stressed her out. We moved out that weekend. They have not refunded my money yet and it’s been a month and a half. They just keep saying the same thing, so next going to small claims to get money back. I would not even go there or put a family member thru this ordeal. It has been a horrible experience overall.

I would recommend to others, depending on the need. Like I said I would prefer more diverse activities. But for us it is working well. I like the staff. The price was right. If my father was younger, I would be disappointed in some of the activities. They don't do field trips or really anything physical. Sometimes the food is marginal. I wouldn't want to eat it. Sometimes it's pretty good.

It was the worst experience I have ever had. No manager for over a year. There was different chefs for a day or days. Food was hit or miss many days. All maids quit first of year. Kitchen help was never adequate. I was there from May to mid Jan. Left immediately after the storm.

My friends live here, unfortunately. It looks and smells like a nursing home. They only get small portions of food, no 2nds. My friend has lost weight. They were there 5 weeks, no one had come to clean. 3 moving vans were there to move people out. She is very depressed and lonely. I am calling the agency that licenses this place and making a formal complaint against them.

They had a horrible experience. There was constant mold build up in the bathroom, 5 separate leaks from the apartment above, terrible food, not enough staff, 2-3 weeks between room cleaning. They are moving out next week. When they told the administrator they were leaving, she let them know that their apartment was being converted into 2 separate apartments and they weren't sure where they were going to move them too. The administrator is a lovely person but is over worked, the facility wasn't properly staffed since move in day

We were going to move our mom to Kittery Estates and had left a [amount removed] "refundable deposit" after determining she needed something with more care for her progressing altzheimer's disease we decided to go elsewhere. We have been told now for two months that our deposit would be returned to us and they "didn't understand why it was taking so long", we continue to get the run around every call and now they do not even have the decency to return any of our calls or emails. I am grateful we did not place my mother in an establishment that is missing the mark on compassion and has failed to deliver their word during this sensitive time for our family. [name removed], it is in your business best interest to at least return calls as VP. p.s. your "renovations" are cold and unwelcoming. Hopefully next go around you can do more with the money you take from people.

I would not recommend it. Hardly any activities, but clean and cost is ok. Meals are not edible.

If I could rate it at 0 or below, I would. Everything about Holiday Willow Gardens needs improvements! It was the worst place I have ever been.

The experience was terrible. They need to improve on everything. The food is not good at all, it's terrible.

While my mom was there…they cut staff and salaries, replace nutritious food with cold cut sandwiches and high carb, high sodium foods that are cheap and unhealthy , they leave the places filthy and yet…raised the monthly rents by hundred, even thousands of dollars. The few staff members that care are heartbroken by the way Atria treats the people there. DO NOT SEND YOUR PARENTS THERE.

Unfortunately there has a been great deal of gang and drug activity at night in the parking lot of this facility. The management and residents need to come together and find a way to execute the no trespassing laws. The residents are terrified to go out of the rooms and into the parking lot at night. I’m saying this anonymously, as I wish no retribution. Take caution when in the parking lot of this facility at night. .

We moved mom to Birch Heights after my father passed away and she sold her house. It sounded like a great community to join with 3 meals a day, light housekeeping and laundry provided with her monthly rent that would leave her time to join in on the many and varied activities offered every day. We found that this was not the case after she had been there a few weeks. During her 4 months there she had her kitchen floor cleaned just once and the bathroom just once. Her bed linens were washed and bed remade approx 3 times. No vacuuming ever done and laundry maybe twice. I now this because I had to go over on weekends and take care of all of this for her all while she was paying for this to be done. Again, private paying for this to be done as part of her living agreement at Birch Heights. Extremely high turnover rate with staff. Would not recommend to anyone.

I was lied to just to get me here. Food is lousy, chairs so dirty your clothes get dirty sitting on them. Whenever there is an issue they always have to check with corporate, and we never here about an answer except its against corporate policy. Their activity director is [removed] and is uneducated. We have to teach her how to pronounce words. The food on the menu is not what comes out of the kitchen. Order a chicken salad sandwich, I got an Egg salad with a little chicken. I have been here for 9 months and there is only 3 staff members that have been here longer. There is one resident whose door lock is not functioning, she has had at least 2 break ins and they haven't fixed it even though the police have told them to do it. I have nothing good to say about this facility. What I will say is no one should be living here. I just got done looking at another facility with many more amenities at a lower cost for a larger unit.

The overall experience with Holiday Forest Pines has been poor, and the community is dirty. When it comes to the friendliness of the staff, they are somewhat friendly but uncooperative at times. The quality of care is poor and well as the meals - those are very poor. The activities are not interesting for me. The value for cost is a low value.

The residents were not given what was promised by the marketing team. Potential new residents might want to stay for a week to actually assess the environment. I would tell others to talk to other residents and their families. Check out the laundry room, recycle containers and common bathrooms for cleanliness. Since the community is "Independent Living", care is provided by 3rd party agencies, for which residents pay. Meal choices were offered, but it was often poor quality with too much salt and little fresh vegetables. The grounds are meticulously maintained. Apparently, there has been some improvement since I have left. I left the Victorian due to the lack of cleaning and declining quality of meals.

My family and loved one had an unpleasant experience with the community. We would recommend you avoid this community at all costs. The staff could have been more attentive to our loved one and assisting the family in answering our questions, or addressing our concerns. Again, avoid at all costs.
