I might recommend it but really not sure. The food Is terrible and there's not enough given to the residents. The activities were great , but now not as good though they did hire someone new. So we have to give her a chance. The rent is ridiculous. And the monopoly regarding the aids it's a little ridiculous also.

I would say that the administration is not up to par. The facilities are free great but the administration is lacking following through. They were without a chef for a period of time. They didn't have a working bus that is suppose to supply transportation for almost three months. In addition, with the lack of services promised but were unavailable, they increased her rent. I would still advocate for the location but there are obvious gaps in services for our elderly. It's disappointing as my mom falls just above poverty but really unable to go anywhere else. We are almost stuck where she's at.

Local management is good but ownership rules suck. Also price keeps increasing for apartments but all amenities stay same or less.

I visited this facility in July and had a poor first impression. Even though I was scheduled to be there, nobody was there to greet me. There were a few people in the offices and I finally and to let them know I was there. As I met with the person I was scheduled to see and we walked through the building there wasn't much going on. It was very quite even though there were plenty of people in the dining room, I found it depressing. The building its self is beautiful, but dirty rugs and floors and overflowing trash cans really turned me off.

The place is clean. The staffing changes are excessive. The services paid for by residents are not being received due to lack of staff.

It's a very nice place but not exactly everything I wanted for my aunt and uncle. But they say they are content and have made some friends although that has taken time. The food is OK but nothing to brag about. They probably have some great activities, but nothing that, my aunt and uncle are drawn to.

No activities that interest me. It seem like everyone is handicapped and in wheelchairs or walkers. Many have limited intellefctual capabilities and can't carry on a decent conversation. The people don"t seem friendly. The rooms are small and feel very restrictive. I do like the food and having it cooked for me.

The residents are lovely. The location is wonderful, convenient to the city, but in a very clean and green neighborhood. But the company that recently bought out holiday obviously does not care about its staff or the residents. The turnover in staff, including managers, is horrendous and they are always understaffed so we don't get the services we need. The company remodeled with the idea of making all the residences across the nation, looking very similar, rather than letting each area have its own local influence. This makes for a very unattractive interior, and many things the resident liked were disallowed like bulletin board for communication and potted plants and small mailboxes by each door. The food is the worst I've seen anywhere and there has never been a decent "chef" in two years. They could try to add more interesting activities like classes instead of silly games. They removed equipment that we used from the gym and installed machines too large or difficult for most residents. I never see anyone using it. I'm torn because I want more people to move in, but I wish people had been more honest with me when I first investigated this place. And I've done some research into the company Atria on my own.

New resident could have had better orientation. Staff helpful and friendly. very nice residents. Lots to do. Food good.

My loved one was previously a resident at Holiday Montara Meadows. I would not recommend this facility and families should know that this is NOT a facility that provides care. It is 100%, an Independent Senior Living facility, which was misrepresented to us. The person who works (or worked there at the time) in sales for this property grossly misrepresented the care that they provided and manipulated the lease term after negotiating.

When referring to friendliness I am referring to the staff. Some were great but the management staff were aloof and disingenuous. They act like the residents are I their way and they tend to infantilize them. That may be related to how inappropriately they screen the new folks coming. They are not always appropriate for independent living. That puts stress on the staff and takes away from the experience of other residents. (I don't mean that to sound too harsh but there were many folks for whom people were worried about). Services that were supposed to be provided like light housekeeping in resident apartments did not happen. I was there from July to March and got housekeeping services less than 10 times. Supposed to be weekly. Food was consistently a 2. Very poor preparation and lack of concern for special diets with older folks in mind. I just decided to get my own meals for the last 4 months I was there. That's a common practice among the residents. Activities are usually pretty good. Excellent staff member does them. She's genuine and creative and listens to residents. I did make some nice friends there and I keep in touch with them. It wasn't all bad

My loved one is currently a resident at Holiday Pinegate and overall the experience there has been okay. The friendliness is good, as is the value for cost. The cleanliness is okay. The food, however, is poor. My loved one doesn't really like the activities, but I can't speak for the others.

Even though the Holiday Redbud Hills community was not a good fit for our loved one, I did appreciate that they helped us out in a time of need.

facility needs a face lift. great place but has been neglected!!

Price has gone up quite a bit in a years time. They are understaffed. Price increases every year. They do offer a lot of activities if you're interested in participating. They are working on the food, they hired a new cook and it has improved. I would recommend The Manor at Oakridge to others looking.

Areas of improvement - turn over of staff from cleaners through management. There was no real care. Very few activities. Several structural problems. Meals were okay. The only good about Echo Ridge was the therapy group Legacy that was located there. I have moved out and feel free from negative issues. Maintenance was awesome but often overworked.

Things have been basically good at Holiday Echo Ridge, with a few exceptions. My dad is happy and comfortable and making friends. The management office has some significant issues and still hasn't resolved simple things like setting up auto pay for his rent. A significant number of the staff have left and what were wonderful meals in the beginning have turned into not so great at all. And last night the fire alarm went off all night long, according to my dad. I understand that things happen, but some of these things are avoidable.

They sell this facility as independent but there are lots of people here who have lots of medical problems. Many of the people should be probably be in memory care but that's very expensive. The food is not the great. It's either too salty or very bland. I have participated in some activities and am slowly finding my niche here.

They have done some remodeling but4 apartments could be done more thoroughly. The staff members are awesome. The meals could be more diabetic friendly. The activities are awesome and the value for cost in my opinion is pretty pricey when some of the areas could be improved on. Rom for improvement, but would still recommend.

We initially had a good experience with Holiday Devonshire Estates. However, in recent months the quality of food has declined, they can't keep employees, and the general manager was let go. My loved one's unit has not been cleaned in three or four weeks. Also, for a place that is specifically for older people, it is lacking in grab bars in the baths and the toilets are quite low. They used to have a bus, but the bus driver quit or was let go. All while jacking up the rent twice in fourteen months. There is also a bear that roams the grounds and steals their bird feeders. My loved one's unit is lovely, but we are looking to move them.
