Awesome place! Definitely one of my picks should the need arise. Would prefer some in house medical assistance.

HIdden lakes is independent living, as far as the care, she gets her meals. At times she does feel like the meals could be better but for the most part they're pretty good as far as I can tell. I've eaten thereand I thought the meals were pretty good; when we moved her in they said we were totally free to eat meals down there with her too. When you have food like that everyday its not the same as your home cooking so thats more of the problem than the food not being good. As far as the help she gets, we hired that. There at Hidden Lakes there is a "First Call Home Health" and they have an office there in the building and we do have a lady hired to help with bathing and she's wonderful. They also are fine with her great grandchildren coming to visit her which was the one question I asked when we were looking and they love to visit her too.

They take very good care of my mother there. Her only complaint is the food because she's very, very, very picky. I would say about 75% of the time she's happy with it. They try to accommodate a lot of tastes which they should. There is always an alternative. She loves her room and the services that they offer. Everything is clean when I go in. They got her in to a room situation as opposed to an apartment and she doesn't cook so that's a good value for her. They worked with us money-wise to get her into a situation that she could afford so she is happy there.

Very good. I actually thought my mother would have liked this one better. It was a little bigger and my mom liked the smaller size of another one we saw. They were very good but they were a little big more expensive and to get in there you had to put down a month and half of rent which is pretty substantial. It was a nice place.

Great location! For walking, taking the bus. Only downside, wish it was a continuing care facility. Don't want to move many more times.

My father was here. It's independent living and just needed more care. They did not have many activities at all. They were going through some management changes when he was there. If he didn't need the care it would have been great for him.

This is where we placed my parents. We liked the layout of the rooms at Orchid Terrace better than the other communities that we looked out. The staff is very friendly, especially Julie the event coordinator. They were also competitive with the other communities we looked at in terms of price.

I put a friend of mine in there. He's living there alone and is independent. So far, he's liking it. They seem to do a pretty good job of the activities. They do some road trips and seem to have good participation. The reason we chose Walnut Woods was based on the value and based on the level of service and community they have there. When I say serviced I mean the managers and everyone - they're really friendly. It's a very nice place and very comfortable.

enjoyed the facility and Tim. Think my parents would be happy there, but issues are price is a little high for their budget, no two-bedrooms available and the laundry is outside of their room. Location would be perfect.

Overall - I would say, from what I've seen, I guess four out of 5. They're outstanding. They're giving good service. Everything's subcontracted out but I'd give the care services a four. My parents aren't involved in any activities yet, but the residents seem happy. My parents moved in about four weeks ago.

Valencia Commons has been very helpful, although, there have been some things they never followed through on so we had to take care of them on our own. We looked at six other places before deciding on Valenica Commons, primarily because of it's proximity to a family friend.

Willow Grove is very welcoming and clean and well maintained. It’s nice and bright and the furnishings are very pretty. They were without an activities advisor for a month but they have a new one now.

Nice place.Want to see a few options with a full kitchen.

Independent living, very clean, spoke with Polly, only 1 elevator for 4 floors, handicapped rooms on 1st floor, rooms have nice natural lighting, dining room looks clean and comfortable, grounds are well groomed, Polly called each resident by name, month to month rent includes 3 meals, utilities and bus to area places (stores, doctors, etc), includes them on trips

Very nice - private pay. Don't want to have to move her when dementia gets worse.

Nice, more independent living. Residents were lovely. Rooms and dining were nice and bright. Residents seemed very happy. Little unsure if there is enough support for mom. The employee did mention a visiting health care person and we did meet her.

A really interesting tour. I think [staff representative] gave us a good feeling about Quail Run and it is definitely on my list

Cost deceptive. Most units far exceed the minimum. Private pay only. Ambiance around corner has character. I-95 not exceedingly bothersome. Great managers. 3 very slow meals tedius. No stove.
