Lots of activities for residents. Good value compared to other facilities we looked at. Clean and modern. Food could be better.

The friendliness is what really stands out. The community is close to Washington Square.

I really enjoyed my stay at Sheldon Oaks. The room was perfect and newly painted. The food was alright but could have been improved I had fractured my tibia and was in a wheel chair for 3 months. I am still having lunch with [name removed] who is a tenant there. The management should have been more helpful to stop the tenant above me on the second floor from purposely hitting the floor above my bed (studio apt) at 6 am every morning.

Frequent change of personnel. No continuance Had to submit documents several times! Email fallow up very slow! Some attitude problems from AdvisaCare! Staff not communicating promptly with families! Need more care staff and more patience with tenants. Admin staff are friendly and helpful. They have good and nutritious food and very good activities - art painting, gardening, bingo and a gym. Musician singing live. Library, movies. They charge whatever they feel like and adding services without families approval. Had a had time communicating with staff leader!

My/Me & my daughter live here and our experience is overall categories 4 Clean ! Caring ! Kind! Helpful to meet our needs so far! We are here as neither of us drive All staff are kind & helpful Apartment sizes is perfect for our needs! 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms Living area with refrigerator area with sink & microwave dining area sitting space with tv We have a puppy so... ALL are HAPPY

The facility is dated however they were updating which was nice to see. We loved everyone from intake to kitchen staff we thought was so kind. Everyone was concerned for my mother in law and made sure she ate and brought her food if she didn't go to the dining room even if she didn't order. They checked in on her all the time Sometimes it was hard to reach admin staff, left messages that did not get returned Food can be improved. What was served was good just need to consider people of that age may not be able to chew it or may have swallowing issues and have different offering to accommodate during eat meal.

Well, after being there a year the increase from [fee removed] a month more and the service is not any better was not impressive to me. The bus service was terrible the cleaning housekeeping service was terrible and a friend of mine had his rent increase [fee removed] a month with no improvement.

All of the above may vary; be subject to opinion and interpretation. They are Very friendly people. Convenient location. Just redecorated.

The place is really nice. It gives a great feel when you walk in. With the new renovations that were done was ok. Not sure why they kept the old floors and never finished painting the other walls. Plus, they kept the old furniture. Nothing really matched. To many different patterns. They should have just left it alone at that point. There was never a funky smell or bad order like some of the other places we visited. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. There are a lot of amenities. Pool, jacuzzi, exercise room, library, chapel/theater room and big hall to have events. The room we got was brand new. Very nicely done. This biggest issue was and as I was told about places like this was always the quality of the food. Some of the dishes were not even edible. Residence constantly complaining. I understand it can't be a home run every time but feeding frozen food and food that some residents should not be eating because of diabetes or high blood pressure is just not right. And for the price that you're paying, it's just not worth it. This was the dealbreaker. So my mother and many other residents have decided to move out. As much as I love the idea that my mother can get three meals a day. She rather just cook them to herself. Because the qualities just not there. It's just disgusting. She won't eat that.

Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. They all made great efforts to make my mom feel at home. I would recommend to others.

What stood out the most was the price, homey feeling, food and the grounds. The food is very tasteful. The grounds are very green and back to a Civil war cemetery. It's a historical site and is wooded. Really beautiful.

There could be some more activities geared towards older men, but it is otherwise lovely for being very flexible in terms of its offerings for a very varied group of individuals living there, and it's clear that they are really putting in the effort to offer fun experiences that are accessible to all. There has been some turnover, but it has been smooth and well communicated with residents.

[name removed], our aging loved one, really liked it at Holiday Forsyth Court but she was only there for 5-6 weeks when they told us that she required more care than they were able to provide her, so we had to move her to Homestead Hills Assisted Living. They are very nice there also and it's a very nice facility.

It would be nice to have a nurse on site 24 hours a day. However, we would recommend Holiday Maple Suites to other families. We are happy with Maple sweets as an independent living facility. They are clean and helpful.

We found the staff to be very welcoming and friendly. That is the first thing I noticed. Everyone has been very helpful from the very beginning. The facility is clean, inviting and just has an overall feeling of happiness.

The staff is full of hardworking dedicated professionals who really care about their residents. The facility is okay- it's old and needs some work but my apartment is lovely. There is no one physically on duty from 7:30pm until 7:30am.

They did really well making things pretty much all inclusive, no extra cost for meals, cable, having sheets changed and rooms cleaned. Excellent value for the fairly priced accommodations. The only problem was inconsistency in vehicle transportation availability.

The staff is super friendly and very helpful and they are fun people. The community of people living there is also I don't know how to say it, but my dad is enjoying himself. He enjoys being around his group of friends to eat meals and so forth and so far, it's been a very positive experience for him as well as The rest of the family.

I'd say some off the best part are the staff I can't recall a poor interaction, and the facilities are always clean. The only thing for improving would be maybe eating time flexibility but even that doesn't really need improving.
